It's a love letter for movie industry. the seed had been planted long ago since we human found the fantasy of colours and images. with the developing of audio-video technology, it finally grow up to a giant tree.
It's an absolute madhouse and I loved every minute of it😄
I just watched it yesterday and it's a 10/10. It got divided critical reviews but in ten years we're gonna look back on it as one of the best movies of all time. everything about it is perfect.

I worked on this film for 4 days. "La La Land" is my favorite film of all time so this production was a full circle/360 experience. Best job of my life and 1 of the best, happiest and greatest days/times/experiences of my entire life. This was a dream come true. Can't wait for all of you to see what we've created!

Yeah! I would also like to add that it looks like Tarantino and Luhrman too with the extravagant sets, costume, extras, and pacing too, likened to that of Moulin Rouge. The comedic scenes feel very Wes Anderson like especially given its awkward almost child-like quality. Looking forward to seeing this movie!
Margot is turning herself into versatile actresses; she certainly deserves more appreciation. The energy and passion she puts in her characters are unexcelled.

Same as the rest of the crowd, major round of applause to Damien Chazelle simply upping himself in many ways, and this trailer is certainly surprising because I didn't imagined it would have had a comedic tone, but pretty welcomed tone at that. Highly excited to see it!!

This movie was amazing! A real production - dance production choreography, comedy, drama and so crazy with super high energy. Provocative and just really diverse. Love Love Love the cast ! One of my all time favorites .

Whiplash man. Outrage sells. That's why he easily cast Pitt and robbie. Hollywood is outrageous. American business is outrageous. Fame and money are outrageous. The flagrant, illegal, and immoral behavior and excess of even the top 10% is outrageous. Whiplash sold outrageous behavior as an interesting plot point. Self-harm. Anger and rage expressed at potentially vulnerable and brittle persons. To harm said people, and to exploit them. That is what Hollywood does. Whether it admits it or not. Intent is neither here nor there consequencially to the victim. But Hollywood, and by proxy, by effigy, America is outrageous. I see so much excess in this trailer. So much raw human energy that I saw in Whiplash. I'm sure these movie is gonna easily be a 10/10 if the director can and had his vision embraced.
Just saw the movie. It was a solidly enjoyable flick. A lot of nudity, drugs, liquor, and crazy performances, but it didn't stop me from having a good time. The movie began to get a little slow at the last 45 mins though, it definitely could've been shorter in some scenes. Really hope it wins at least one Golden Globe or Oscar for any of the performers nominated, they all gave such powerful energy to their respective roles. Overall, an 8/10. Recommend checking it out!
This is a great film. The script is amazing, the cinematography is incredible and the acting is exceptional. It's got a Quentin Tarantino feel to it. Well done to the director for puting it altogether so proficiently. As for the lead actors, Diego Calva puts in a solid performance as the Mexican immigrant Manuel Torres. Tobey Maguire is also very impressive. Brad Pitt is now at a stage in his career where he has mastered the art of acting, and again, he puts in another career defining performance. Then we come to the incredibly beautiful and charismatic Margot Robbie. In this film she is phenomenal. Whenever shes on screen you cant take your eyes off her. Her line delivery, timing, look, and presence are all immaculate. She already is an all time great. Margot Robbie really deserves an oscar for this role.

Yesterday, I went to watch the premiere not expecting much since almost everything that came last year didn't live up to my expectations and the trailer reminded me awfully of La La Land which I didn't like. I also expected to be bored to death. Without spoiling anything, as the credits started to roll, I knew that Babylon is the best movie I have watched in a long time. The impression that I got as I walked outside my local cinema was that it is such a shame and a great loss to anyone still not alive to see this masterpiece. A love letter to the film industry, and anyone who loves to watch movies in general. Bravo!
