Noel's songwriting got me into playing the guitar and has always been the musician I look up to the most. I was at this gig back in 1997. It was my first Oasis gig and first gig in a big venue. There was a guy outside with a megaphone beforehand telling us that Liam had a "sore throat" and Noel would be doing the show instead. I couldn't believe it! It was pure brilliance, the place was electric although admittedly it was strange to hear him sing songs like Roll With It and Cigarettes and Alcohol. Liam managed to stumble on stage towards the end of the show absolutely hammered drunk. Didn't sing a word, just drunkenly gestured the two finger salute to the crowd. One of my most treasured memories. The chief is a legend!
If you think about it, this version is not worse than the original version, but the original better is better than this. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's just how it works
Noel sounds smashed! And rightly so, well deserved and earned esp back then! Class tune Liam sings it much better tho as the chorus needs Noels backing vocals complimenting his brothers! LiveForever
wish noel played this with his new band , but i guess it came off the cocaine fueled be here now album and he hasn't played much from that album at all

This was one of my favourite oasis bootlegs that i found in a dusty record shop. People nowadays will never know the joy of the hunt!
