"We are running short now, because the 12 hour news cycle has gone" So true - I'll be honest, I haven't thought about the flood affected areas in weeks. It's crazy to think we have people struggling so badly in this country, basically being ignored. Thank you for this video, and thank you for the reminder.

I was very moved by the struggles of the people of Lismore. What a great job you did highlighting the situation.
Climate change is happening right in front of our eyes and many still refuse to accept reality.
Thanks so much for bring this story to us.

Leigh & Steff, huge thanks for this particular video. I live in SE QLD, only 3hrs drive from Lismore & the entire region has been badly flood affected. The amount of rain we've had this calendar is unprecedented, many people have lost everything. Watching Steffie 'bleach' your camper hit close to home, our 17'6" Poptop Caravan was written off only yesterday by the insurance company due to water damage - mould & mildew. Still, not as bad as others affected. I'm guessing your video is about 6-8 weeks old as the flood waters have receded & we've had constant sunshine for about 2 weeks now...hooray!

We have had family hit by the many floods that they called 4oo year floods that came for about 4 years in a row. I built on a ridge so we worry about tornadoes and when the valley is flooded or has huge snow drifts we just stay home. The flood repairs will go on for a long time if they do not bring in large crews, it just takes a lot of people power to get things done. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.

This is so tragic 😥 to see the flood damage 💔 I feel for all that went through this flood, I know some will never recover 💔, on a different note can you tell me when you fly your drone over the forest and see your truck on the road, where do you get your drone to land to retrieve it ? I've never droned like that, love your travels, also won't bleach cleaning your canvas affect the fabric ?

Australia is in a sad state, we forget about our own people in their time of need, but get outraged when the government tries to evict a family of illegals.
PS the 27MM socket fits the Rovers wheel nuts, it also fits the sump plug and if memory hasn't failed the gearbox and transfer case drain plugs, important if you have a deep water crossing and you don't have the military breathers installed.

    English language faux pa's......
Although Steffies English is pretty good she does occasionally make mistakes. When she stated she liked a Cockatoo this could have been mistaken for a double entendre.....
Twenty minutes or there abouts is better than thirteen!....but it must be difficult coming up with new material.
At least the floods must be replenishing aquifers and lakes in one of the driest countries around.
