Title of this episode couldn't be any further from the absolute truth. Australia should be an Adjective by itself... Because I've been Australiazed. ¡¡PURA VIDA!! From the other side of the planet. Dreamgiver.
I want longer videos. You are capturing the landscape without worrying of showing off, presenting equipment, etc. That's a biiiig thing. What camera are you using for capturing this video? Colours look great and detail is excellent. More videos please. Longer one also. Thanks guys.
Thank you so much. We could definitely make longer videos but we're never sure if people would like that... Thanks for the advice. The camera is usually the Canon 90D. We also film with a Mavic Pro 2 and iPhone 12 Pro.
Priceless that you ran into Jeff with his perentie. Super knowledgeable bloke. Course it doesn’t hurt he has a FFR just like me🤙🏻. When your engine tanks it, look into an Isuzu replacement, they are the bomb diggity.
I traveled the outback 20+ years ago for the last time in a 1985 Land Rover County V8 (gas and petrol were still cheap then) , this video inspired me to do that again ... most likely in my 1998 Land Rover Discovery tdi 300 , but maybe ... maybe in a Perentie . Thanks for your world class videos (said by a life time professional photographer ... now retired ... a bit). Thanks heaps again - stay happy you beautiful people !
One of the most beautiful videos you have produced. Stunning scenery and colors. Drone footage was great and the music mix was perfect. Thank you. Travel safe.
Les tâches sur le parentie me rappelle des arts aborigène. Le seul voyageur canadien je peux rappeler sont les «snowbirds». Les québécois qui résident en Floride pendant l' hiver.
my grandmother and grandad met at the sandstone pub , idrove there with my 16 y/o daughter a few years ago in a series 3 , she spotted a 109 foward control in someones front yard . it is the same one that you saw at the nedlands series landrover desplay a few years ago
I hope you can meet Steve Bly with Mongrel Dogs Productions who often bicycles and motorcycles the outback. At least watch his videos. They are very good. Y/a;; stay safe and above all havagudun.
What a spot! The colours were amazing as were the wildflowers on the way. The flies and locusts? were a worry. lol. Thank you for taking us to such a beautiful destination, now tucked into our Wiki Camps. 🦎❤🇦🇺🦘
I really like the music you used on this video Could you tell me please who is those artists ? Merci merci Stéphanie et Leigh Nous vous aimons Nous travaillons beaucoup pour pouvoir faire ce que vous faites. Bientôt ce sera notre tour 😉
Hey guys! great video, as always! are you familiar with a youtuber, Eva Zubeck? She has started overlanding in an older Defender, and is exeriencing some mechanical difficulties, and is painfully not mechanical. I'm sure she would appreciate a little guidance with the quirks of Defenders, and with your travel adventures, pointing her towards some resources for parts and mechanics. (you know, the Defender family sort of things ☺️) Take care, looking forward to your next video, chao!
Awesome spots! Two years ago unable to find a Defender in New Zealand we looked at jumping the ditch to buy one, tour the outback then bring it home, thankfully we found our perfect camper in NZ just as everything shut down. These videos are pretty motivational to get the truck packed onto a ship and come have a look. Thanks for documenting the experience in a calm and very (to us) relatable manner!
Lake Ballard has been on my bucket list for a long time….I live South of Perth and am finally going there in 2 weeks, driving solo with my swag. So looking forward to it!
@@leighdearle5965 😄haha I did think about it but I think the crack of dawn was a little early, If your still at the 4wd show on the Sunday ill come say hello.
Pity, l missed ya in Kalgoorlie. Oh! Did you hear. That Minning truck in Newman. Cost the Shire a dollar. BHP had to sell it to them. To balance it's book. No porky pie here.
So, are you still think portable loo is bad idea? you will find dumping point almost everywhere you go. Makes life easier for both of you traveling in your home. Cheers. Vic
how to describre ? thanks to you for this wonderful "journey" ! keep on the track, takes care. merci c'est tellement dépaysant de voir ces magnifiques paysages, il est vrai que derrière mon écran, je ne suis pas importuné par les insectes.
merci à vous pour les images incroyables! Steph, I can see how much work you've been putting into editing/filming/storytelling, it's awesome. Hope you can get over to Vic some time in the near-ish future :)
Not while the dictator Andrews is wrecking the traditional freedoms of Australian.....wait till he is deposed at the next election and freedom is restored...Andrews is an abberation.
Thank You so much. It’s nice of you of thinking about everything behind a little video and nice to mention it. 😊 we hope we can visit all states during our stay but not making any plans. Those borders 🙄 one thing we don’t want is a 3rd hotel quarantine.
OH! I had been waiting for this video based on your instagram photos! You do a great job of conveying the beauty of WA. You mention the red dust is the only bad part....but those flies, man! At 5:40 I noticed you are using a rearview camera, do you have one you'd recommend? I'm thinking about going that route on my truck.
If we have phone reception then we'd call for assistance. If no phone reception we have a Garmin Inreach Mini 2 way messaging device. If it's an emergency like snake bite then we can call an SOS on this same device. Depending on your location and the type of snake you might not have time for a rescue 🐍😬
Respectfully wish to differ: Australia is NOT rich in wildlife. I suppose it depends on what your experience and background reference points are. I am from Africa hence my point of view.
WA is a big place we can't see it all in one trip 😉 We've travelled to more than 50 countries over the ten years and there's places we missed in every one of those countries.
ติดตามชมตลอดครับ ชอบแลนด์โรเวอร์ครับ
my best moment the land rover perentie ancient military vehicle which stay true to itself

YAY! No thumbs down! I am so very proud of my fellow RUclips viewers and Patrons! Keep 'em coming Leigh and Stephy! Love the adventure videos :)
No thumbs down after 12 hours! I think it's a record 😜 Glad you liked this one mate ❤️
I am glad viewers appreciate the videos you and Stephy produce. 😀
Super le land avec le moteur isuzu!
Another brilliant video. Crazy how many flys there are!
Theyre actually well adjusted....for "crazy" see that geek in Victoria...Andrews.
oooo Australia is beautiful! Loving the music selection in the video. Enjoy

Absolutely an Isuzu engine would be a dream set up 😍
Jeff was a legend and we'll definitely catch up again soon.
The capture of the spectacular differing landscape and its amazing colours etc is brilliant
Thank you. 👍

Another excellent video. Those art statues are also can be found, near me in Crosby beach, Liverpool, same artist Antony Gormley. Who would say. 👍
What a landscape. Owsome. Cheers 🍷&🍺

Enjoyed it a lot...wonderful content by great creators around a beautiful country.
This video is a treasure! Love the concept of alternating the moderation.
Wow! Such a remote place , great filming

Great video guys, stunning colours and awesome drone work.
Locusts, can’t stand them!
Thanks heaps mate. Yeah those bloody locusts are a real pest.
Loved the drone shots and the awesome taste in music! What a beautiful landscape and colors. Fantastic! I had to share it. Thank you so much!
What A vast and wonderful journey!
I love my Perentie 110 in the USA. Hope you get over here and get to meet! Happy travels and keep up the great work.
Australia is massive

Yes we know her well, she contacted us before she bought her Defender 😉
Beautiful couple..stay blessed from Pakistan 🇵🇰
awesome video again this week, stunning colours from the drone and simply wonderful sound design, brilliant work Steph.
Hey guys, dump the fly nets and road test "Natures Botanical". A very thin smear on the face is supposed to repel those flying sultanas.
Always good to see you guys enjoying life to the full, thank for sharing.
Superbes images du drone, je ne connais pas l'Australie et ça fait rudement envie ! 👍
It's a shame i missed ya in Kalgoorlie. Maybe see you out on the road somewhere. (fellow Defender owner)

You have to come collect your gear 😉

Seriously Series!!! Great channel!
I’d grab a Parentie in a sec if I could afford one! 😑
thank you for your beauty detailing video as great joy every time here
Thought that was you guys in Kal, I saw the defender at the free camping, Shame you didn't stick around for the Race Round.
We thought about sticking around for the race, probably should have.
You should have come and said G'day, we would of made you a cuppa 😉
@@leighdearle5965 😄haha I did think about it but I think the crack of dawn was a little early, If your still at the 4wd show on the Sunday ill come say hello.
tryin' to get a better look at that outback ;)
You are covering quite a few kms. Looks like a bit of a trek to get into Hickmans crater, then to camp in it. Safe travels out there.
It was indeed a bit of a rough trail to Hickman but so worth it 😊
Nice video dear
Jeff Lewis is excellent

We haven't used the portable dunny yet and we don't plan to 😉
Only grey water.

PRA 😊 !!
super duper
re: the red dust, get used to it, embrace it, wear it as a badge of honour..... well.. sometimes you wont have a choice ;)
There is definitely no choice in that, especially when you drive a Defender that can't even keep the rain out ☔😜
Did you know that if you wait until the sun sets the flies will be gone? I never prepare meat until after sunset.
That's true although when the sun sets then arrives the mosquitoes and midges that are attracted to the lights. At least the flies don't bite 😉
Супер!!!
You guys coming to Tassie while in Australia?
Absolutely 😉
Really love the music you have added to the video. DO you have a Spotify channel with the music
Thank you. We use Epidemic Sound for our music.
New to this channel - Have i seen you with Ronny Dahl ? 🤠
Yes you have 😉
What happened to the metal steps you were having made…..?
Stay tuned, they got fitted today 😉 The videos are a few weeks behind.
I just ask a question...why there tomuch 🪰?
Bonjour les jeunes! juste une question! quel a été votre port de départ pour arriver dans quel port en australie et si possible quel en a été le prix
🤗👍
Questions; what happens when in the outback if you had a major breakdown. Or get bitten by a snake/spider. Just curious

Steph really needs to do professional voice over work. She makes everything sound appealing, even that lizard! 🦎
Hey...guys why didnt you cover pakistan and india ??
One day we'll come to India and Pakistan 😉
You need to get together with Ronny Dahl
Episode 183 😉
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland I missed that one... apologies lol .
So many of the women on youtube are used as click bait and almost nude. Thank you for not doing that.
