This car is sick. My s550 3.7 is finally paid off, I got it 5 years ago as my first car. Boost seems way more fun than trading it in, so I bought a used P1SC-1 kit. I have friends with boosted 5.0s & hellcats, but they're in 30k+ of debt. And the best part. Me? Zero. 🎉

And I thought my souped up F 150 long box was quick. My 3.7 has a 40 flow master and open air box with K&N panel, a 1 inch TB spacer, some hot coils, and a Vertex performance plug and play chip. It was fast stock but now it's a rocket. Goes through six gears like a motorcycle. Lots of fun to drive
By the way I run non ethanol super unleaded in my truck and my mileage is 18 to 21 on the hyway and around 16 in town if I drive right. Pulling trailers loaded I get around 13 to 14. Long box 4x4 reg cab with 3.7 N/A

I’ve seen this video lots of times, I never paid attention that you mentioned 12-14 was everything. Figured it’s was just the turbo install, not wheels suspension drive shaft, brakes. I see good things coming your way auto mafia racing.

What advantage does welding the UPR anti roll bar to the rear do for the car? Is it not a bolt on?
No it's a weld on. They make a bolt on one now tho. It keeps the rear end from moving. Super flat launches

Yeah I know the 4.6 v8 has a rumble the 3.7 won't ever have but the bargain becomes more and more appealing!!
Well you can have a rumble or you can be faster without building the motor.
The 05-10 GT is more affordable then the 3.7 though at least from what I’ve seen.

Nice work getting the number, but are you going to run a turbo that will fit under the hood? Those exhaust pipes just look....well, not very good.
The turbo fits under the hood no problem. We keep it off to show its a V6.

It seems that these mods are not safe for the motor. Good power overall but what's the point if it's going to blow up.
We were pushing for a record on a stock 200,000 mile motor. We count this stock motors as very stout and will run quite a long time at 600 ish rwhp and below on boost with a good tune and taking care of the car and running good fuel.
We are now installing just rods and pistons and new rings and bearings in another 150,000 mile junk yard motor and we will see how much hp it can hold and see if we can hit 8s now. :)

What does a build like this cost I know well over 10k
We would sell the car for $25,000 as is with no motor or trans or turbo kit if that tells you anything. Its got $10k in suspension and fuel system alone

It has been a while but I believe it was a 3.31

Turbo it and forge the motor.

E85 allready eats away the gaskets on the motor (stock )

Hi, this is awesome what u guys have done. My question is the amount of money it cost to go 9s with the 3.7 why not just use a coyote 5.0 and goes 8s with a stock engine for cheaper. Just my 2 cents.
Short answer because thats boring. Also remember that the price difference in the CAR itself is about $10,000.
But also look at how we built the car. We can swap to a different motor at anytime and still have a full race chassis and fuel system and suspension.
We love going fast in cars that people think should be slow. But blowing up a $500 v6 motor is no big deal. Compare that to blowing a $5,000 coyote.

Ok i see. I dont know if its considered boring or not. But my race weight at 4080lbs completely full leather interior and everything that came from the factory with twins and a fuel system had less than $9000 in parts with full front tires that runs 8s all day with no effort feels like a win. not to mention completely stock suspension. So i would with a little effort it can go much faster. But yes your correct blowing up a $500 isnt much money. But then again i bought a complete coyote engine for $1000. But i get your point that a v6 can do 9s if someone want to invest enough money and time into one. Keep up the great work.
