That saxophone soloist while having a pop/jazz sounding tone sounds just mind blowingly good. I think listening to that soloist playing standard classical and concert reperitoire would be a absolutely fantastic time. Compliments to the recording staff and the instrumentalists themself for bringing such an amazing arrangement to life!

Agreed - I would like to have this recording without the solo instrument. I looked at Sound Trap, and seems like you'd have to record each instrument. Sort of like Cubase or any digital audio program. I think Micah and I are looking for a backing track so we can play along with it. Same score and arrangment - just noo solo instrument in it. I play flute, and already bought the sheet music solo only for flute. Just need that backing orchestra now... Thanks for listening.

    Wonderful 💖
It is a little bit like Concerto d'amore from Jakob de Haan.

You could at least have credited both Andrea Morricone and Ennio Morricone for this composition.

They are both credited on the first page of the score.

That movie was gorgeous enough before Ennio Morricone came along and made it too gorgeous for this world. It makes me cry again when I think of it. That little kid. I barely even noticed I had to read the subtitles all the time.

not sure why they had to give each solo instrument their own line in the score - makes it too cluttered. Write is an alto sax solo (as recorded) and include optional parts for the other solo instruments. Waste of ink to write them all on the score - the conductor should be able to transpose notes if needs to give directions for a different instrument while rehearsing.
