I’m Curie-ous why nought? Stifle your doubt and consign the days I didn’t play this deck to memory. Sorry to dress you down, I’m thrulled to offer this content. 🙏🏻
@BoshNRoll Truly a masterful pun. I pondered about it for a while and had the force of will do congratulate you. It didn’t daze me once, but I felt a bit abhorrent.
Me trying to remeber who TakeYourT1me is and then remembering we shared a hotel when he was playing standstill miracles at GP Columbus 2016. Good to see he is still on it.
The list of random wincons in game 1 was just a straight nostalgia bomb. Oh for the days when Decree of Justice was good. Maybe a big ol end step Secure the Wastes. Or MORPHLING!
Mycospawn seems so unfair anytime I’ve seen it cast. If the cast triggers were enters the battlefield triggers at least you could counter the mycospawn and stop them. As it stands the card is likely worth paying 6 mana for the deck even if it didn’t have the creature attached to the two land triggers.
@@BoshNRoll What are your own thoughts on Nulldrifter? I'm building this deck myself right now, and on the one hand 3 mana is a lot (even 4 if you want to Stifle it in), on the other Nulldrifter *kind of* fits the role of going a bit grindier you mention at the end of the video.
It seems like one of those things where by itself it doesn't look broken broken, it looks like it's flexible and useful but expensive and slow. But the Eldrazi lands make it very much not slow and being able to destroy two lands with it means your opponent is gonna be a lot slower either way. In this video was the worst-case where Cavern has made it nearly unstoppable but it's not like this set-up is terribly unlikely and it's clearly not a healthy play pattern.
The streamer "BeExcellent" just streamed a league with urzas sagas and 4 curies to generate value AND be very quick. You might take a look at it. Its even more commitment to nought, but has an alternative with tamiyo clues pushing the urza tokens....looked real good and with your skills to brew and play....who knows. I'd love to see it❤
7:28 There's an option here to hold priority and plow your own creature twice in response to the opponent's plow to get to Oculus earlier. I'm not sure if it's right but I feel like those plows aren't doing much else.
Is there a reason for 2 misty rainforests vs 1 misty and 1 scalding tarn or polluted delta? Very minor thing but maybe plays around pithing needle a smidge better
I played a list without Curie/Oculus (opting instead for some copies of Nulldrifter, Thrull and some extra disruption) at EW Pittsburgh and it felt reasonable. What are the tradeoffs? Nulldrifter is bad into Consign but otherwise grinds pretty well and blanks Fatal Push. The Curie/Oculus package feels powerful but extremely clunky.
I was thinking make a midrange dreadnought and maybe have cruie to be as a blue frog, but it turns out is not that really good in this five match, null drifter is kind of like I always sb out when playing against some of the deck and it work at least after or on turn 3 when I have dress down or doorkeeper
Would there be a reason to include Ledger Shredder to cover for frog? Might help enable the eye but it also isn't actually netting cards since you have to discard.
47:26. If you force the land grant, then opponent can’t cast the bolt and you only take 10 + 1 from the force. Maybe you can stabilize at 4 from there. Unsure how that would be possible without a wrath, but maybe worth looking at one more draw.
Thanks for the analysis! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
He's talked about it in a previous video Idr which but he said he gets the curie combo 1 in every 30 or so games it's kinda a meme dream but curies real purpose is to draw cards. Either the opponent has to waste removal on curie making dreadnought safer or they ignore her and you're drawing two each turn to secure the dreadnought turn.
The big secret with Curie is it doesn’t have to go off. As we learned from Psychic Frog, legacy decks need to respond quickly to a 2-mana Ophidian. It flushes interaction while giving you the upside of working with Nought if it ever lines up.
@@BoshNRoll that makes sense. Thank you for explaining. So it's more of a "this card sucks at base but you cant let it just sit around or it's gonna win the game one way or another"
47:26 I don’t think it was luck when you were going over high impact draws doesn’t really change the game just cuz you state that they’re high impact draws. I also wouldn’t count the 3 doorkeeper thrulls as high impact draws nor the cards you brought in to save you from how u died that game. I’d count your threats as draws to win the game as you stated but if you’re only counting those that’s 10 cards in your deck, you hitting 2 of those 10 in 26 is maybe a “little” unlucky when average would be around 4 of the 10, but you also chose that stance from the game plan you chose to take. You could have shuffled away the ponder with land stifle daze but you kept it. I don’t think that game was too much on like, just more of the posture you took with in game decisions and sideboarding decisions that resulted in the loss. Still fun magic to watch tho and enjoyed it the content as always.
Nought what I was expecting.

@@BoshNRollThat was the funniest sentence i've ever read, thanks for your amazing content ❤
@BoshNRoll the pain I felt reading this...
Great job
Some positive and negative responses to these jokes. Island somewhere in the middle.

Shoutout to TakeYourT1me now showing up in botha BoshNRoll and ThrabenU video, both times playing standstill several weeks apart
Round 1 opponent was the coolest deck I’ve ever seen
If you liked that, I have good news about the Bosh Signature Decks playlist on this channel. 👀
That first match was an insane master class.
Insanely fucking boring
Me trying to remeber who TakeYourT1me is and then remembering we shared a hotel when he was playing standstill miracles at GP Columbus 2016. Good to see he is still on it.
I've seen him in other content creators games too. He definitely plays stasis

It must feel nice to finally be able to force and daze a Kozilek's Command.
Hullbreaker in response to Standstill: opponent: “don’t come”; me: “I’m going to come”
We still Big Shrimpin
Round 1 Game 1 was certainly a game both players played
game 3 vs takeyourtime was some of the best magic ive seen in a long time
Round 3 oppo taking full advantage of lightning bolt being unbanned
Great vid. Alas, t'was all for nought.
"Unwashed, Eldrazi Barbarian"
Yo that's a card.

Love the content after watching. I got to say rough showing on the varience today. Keep it going and I look forward to every video
20:49 Patented Bosh cackle unlocked
One of the coolest decks and I'm glad it's competitive
NGL i'm here for whatever Hoodie444 is doing. Not everyday you see some jund gaming.
Is there reason why nulldrifter wasn't an inclusion in the list? Is occlus just that much better?
That’s what Patreon subscriber Bobby who provided the deck chose to put in the threat flex slot. They both have pros and cons.
Fair enough. Thanks for the reply :)

Turns out keeping a grip of 21 cards with lots of counter magic tends to be pretty good
Mycospawn having a cast trigger is some ultra nonsense and I hate watching these non games. They should have banned it.

Match 1 is how Legacy is supposed to look
Really think these decks need to go back to the nulldrifter plan instead of oculus

I feel like Oculus underperforms if you just play it fairly, that or you need something like a sultai delve style deck to play it.
Is there a reason nulldrifter fell off in these lists? Only know legacy through Bosh and didn’t hear him talk about it

Any reason you call the color combo BUG rather than sultai?
I’m old enough to have played before we had a name for the wedge.
yes
Bosh getting noughty on RUclips
m1g1 is why when harain and i play at our lgs he concedes the match to me before we even start lol this deck just collapses to beans
still not sure why mycospawn hits basics.. you'd think after 2 decades of them learning that was a bad idea.. but here we are.
Am I missing something in Round 3 where you could flip Doorkeeper and have a 1/4 blocker for the phenoxies?
Doorkeeper is a 1/2
@@BoshNRoll That is what I was missing.
another takeyourt1me sighting ftw
Maybe jeskai with phlage and bolts for reach
Occulus would be perfect for this deck if its exile was a trigger.
Smoke em if you Nought em
Take your time. His own strat worked against him lol.
Try phlage it can kill really fast and it can be stifled in.
He's played Bant stiflenaught with Uro. And while Phlage is good.... It's not Uro good
Vial ticks up to 12…

not a fan of the curie+oculus version, even if it is technically better.
Bosh pack stifle em if you nought en
bosh pack smoke em if you got em
Stifle 'em if they crack a fetch
I think it was just bad variance..that mull to 4 cus you couldn't find a SINGLE land was ROUGH,
Eldrazi is such a boring match to watch. It feels like a combo deck, but with uncounterable spells.
