Have you tried using waterproof housing for the X3? I know there is the same dome type like in this video, but there is also flatter ones like from Puluz I believe
For sure even with those disadvantages it is real to play around with raw material...as we can see in this episode you did some cool captions. Man patīk 👌🏽😆
What about having the camera at a 45 degree angle away from you when holding the selfie stick? This would mean your waist and lower would probably be blocked but you could cover what’s in front and down, then you can cover what’s above and behind to that angle? For the side stitching, you said you can’t do smooth transitions and I see what you mean in your video. However if you were doing a speed ramp to transition, would adding a little motion blur help hide the stitching issues? Or is it that horrible?
I just bought the x3 and I’m planning on taking it on several dives in a couple of weeks. I was hoping you would be willing to share some of your camera settings. I have very little experience with ISO, Shutter speed, frame rate and just want to get some usable footage. Please help!
Hi Kellen! My advice is just keep all setting automatic. Light underwater changes very quick and you’ll get sick changing settings. I tried couple of times and moved back to automatic ones. And keep camera vertical, don’t film downwards, than everything will be very dark.
Thanks for the video. It's really useful! I'm gonna get the dive case for X3 and give it a go.
You will be surprised how good it is:)

I don’t have x3 yet but I’m sure the principle is the same. Flatter would be a way more practical since it’s so easy to scratch the dome.

Man arī patīk🙂 Just it’s freaking me out that I’m cutting out a lot something looks cool but there’s that shiny piece of plastic in the way😡

How did you attach it to your dsmb?
I use a one ended carabiner.
mine broke in a few days, terrible camera. I don't indicate. I'm too upset.
now i go back to the gopro 360
Having it about 6 months, still ok, will see how the things go.
can you show how and what accessories you bought for the bolt snap and to twist the camera to 90 degree on your stick?
It came together with the Underwater case. Send me a message to my Instagram and I will show it.
