ah very good content regarding limiting shoulder engagement with chest exercises. may want to focus on mind muscle connection to feel the chest contracting more also, I have found that instead of bringing arms together and lowering back to start - is a waste and can be better served by pulsing it at end range.(similar to your-DLB- use of bands with shoulder lateral raises as a burnout set) Increase the contraction at end range increasing time under tension. note the internal rotation at end range is a good tip but this may engage your shoulders if it does mind the feeling and just pulse at the end 3-5x or the rep number and focus on the pec squeeze.
My fantasy is to workout at your place with you and Rob...that would be an experience second to none. With the chemistry you two have and a gym to ourselves not having to wait for some others to finish their sets, that would be so cool. For now, I'll just settle for your posted workouts here and on DLBDaily.com. Tell you what, $7 bucks is a steal for your expertise.

Obviously this ain't me but it's crazy how much one woman has changed my physique and abilitys and I was a guy with a 380 bench and nothing else besides a 275 clean and press I was a monster and still am but ain't a day goes by that I don't watch Dana and work on being a delt a sor as. Dana you my love and my passion and you make me proud.
Full range of motion needs to be discernible... Olympic lifting range of motion needs to be complete or a missed lift... powerlifting range of motion needs to be complete or a missed lift... however bodybuilding range of motion needs to maintain the target muscle... a barbell curl is not a lumbar exercise.
There's always been a lot of confusion about range of motion.... weightlifters range of motion is different than the bodybuilders range of motion... there's also confusion about the arch on the bench... powerlifter have a tendency to over Arch to decrease the range of motion... bodybuilders have to maintain a neutral spine... which means you should not over Arch or be flat as a pancake on the bench!
