So I bought one of these. 2021 GLB35AMG in moutain grey metallic.
I traded in my cla45 amg for this .
We are a new young family with a 6 month year old. The cla was too small and rough suspension.
I'm loving the GLB35 AMG. I think its perfect for young families. Lots of cargo space, tech, comfortable ride and performance when the little ones aren't in the back. Very satisfied . I personally love the design but I know its not for everyone.

How is the road noise compared to the 45? I’m about to trade in my GLA 45 for this
@@gbw4908 much quiter then the cla45 I had. But I'd say go with the 19's .. the bigger wheels look awesome but come with more noise of course
Dear G, Volkswagen has something more or less similar on the market: VW Tiguan, you can order it with 5 or 7 seats aswell. But to be honest; i've bought a GLB35, and i love this car! it is so comfortable for a compact base SUV, which obviously he is, although his lenght increased because of the 10cm longer wheelstand. Anyway, i recommend this car for anyone, who needs a sporty car, which is good in comfortable and sporty way, but gives you the comfort of an Highclass Car. Oh, i forgot to mention: 5.2 sec from 0-100 km/h, in this hight it even feels faster, but it is totally enough for a family car :) Me and my son enjoy it a lot ;-)
Around the same time the VW group also had the Skoda Kodiaq 7seater (the first TDI was not very spirited but great for towing and a lazy drive), the more recent version is a turbocharged petrol, not quite 300 Hp (only has 245hp), but is still quite fun to drive and has 7 seats.
There will be a Cupra Seat Tarraco "variant" 7 seater sometime soon, should sport a familiar VW Group 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 305 HP in the top trims.

💜💜 my GLB 35! Ordered it on April 1; got it September 2. Got the 7-seater as we need the extra seating when carpooling our child & classmates on field trips, sporting events, etc. When not using all 7 seats, love the cargo space.

I just got one of these. I like wagons better than SUVs and thought this was a good balance.
I would describe it as a very practical daily driver that is a heck of a lot of fun to drive. I thought your review was pretty good. One small correction: the flat panels in the bumper are not fake intakes, they are functional. The flat part directs are to the outside where there are large intakes. It seems to me like they provide cooling for the brakes.

It’s a great car. I had an M3 in Spain where I could drive the hell out of it right outside my house on roads that pushed me and my car to the limit but in the US now, it’s stop start, stop start, traffic and lights. Not fun. So this car gives me decent speed and sporty feel but don’t feel bad I don’t have my Basque Country roads to play on. Great video.

I drive a 7 seater Sharan but the kids are bigger now and I won’t need such a big car any longer… so, I ordered an exact copy of your test car. A 7 seater Denim Blue 35 with the same rims! I’ll get the Beast somewhere between oct and jan… can’t wait for it!

In sports+, its really agressive. if youre not careful you can GAUCHO-eyes out.
Just purchased a GLB , petrol , but not the 35 AMG, couldn’t warrant the extra cost.
I really rate the Mercedes range , we’ve had a A18O , A200 , very nice and pretty fast.
With the cost of fuel mere mortals couldn’t afford the running costs!
Also I enquired about a EQC electric and I was advised for the mileage I did each day I would need to charge the car for 47 hours a week! Electric buyers beware!
Congrats on the purchase. There are many variables for me to comment with regards to electric. But if you stuck it on charge at 8pm and left for work at 6am, 5 days a week, that’s 50 hours… 😃

Test drove the pre-facelift model and I gotta say the interior felt cheap and doesn't feel like a $100k car in Australia. The performance is nice but it's feels so cheap inside, I'm buying the GV70 of this for the same price with same performance figures and comes with free valet servicing

Why isn’t there going to be a GLB 45 version of the AMG GLB like with the GLA 45?
Because putting that much power in a 7 seater compact SUV would be ridiculous… 🤷🏻♂️

If they combined the styling of this and the engine from either the built i4 from the GLA 45, or the V6 from the GLC 43, all while keeping the price range reasonable, I would’ve liked this car more. With the name of AMG at steak, I feel like the GLB is a bit too watered down and niche.
hey! perhaps the 45s engine but putting the 43 engine would have put it too close to GLC territory I think price wise and technically. I dont think the profile of a GLB justifies anything more than a 35 badge IMO. I think niche is a good thing in this market personally...

Ford Explorer ST is 6/7 seater with AWD 3.0TT 400hp. Its has every option GLB has plus more. Massage seats, auto start. Huge screen. And with a tune it can do 0 to 60 under 4 seconds🎉
