That was a Master Class in singing. Her fluidity was second to none. And this is a woman who LOVED to sing and it showed. She didn't care about fame or money or having lots of fans. She only cared about singing. We were privileged to have had her sing in this world.
This is simply a demonstration of vocals at the very highest level which in my estimation would be hard to achieve by any singer , living or dead - it is simply out of reach for any other vocalist. The raw power, range and tenacity displayed here (and I dare say in other songs) is incomparable and magical. Here, it is like God is singing through her. Make no mistake, this woman has and will never have any equal. I have said this many times before, and will continue to say it!! Her tone, runs, control, melisma, vibrato and transitions(smooth as silk) is almost unbelievable and surreal! Happy to have had her in this world, as short as her stay was, cause the world is a much better place because she once trod mother earth in the flesh!! Love you Whitney and always will!! They are always and only themselves with a special gift that shined. People might sound similar, but they can't replace them. A tragedy that addiction took her and altered her gift and ultimately her life. Drugs don't make talent, they TAKE away talent! Some day we will all learn this.

She knew when to pull all the stops and when to hold it back. Some artists just belt melisma all the time (Christina Aguilara take note) but some artists know when to use it and when to mute it. I think too many ppl remember Whitney as an addict and past her prime. Even at the height of her career, which was the Bodyguard era, her voice had started to noticeably decline. Beautiful , poised and blessed with a generational talent - she was nicknamed “The Voice” for a very good reason
I just love what u do.. But for those of us who don't know a lot about "head voices, vibrato's and such", it would be nice for u to do a vid of whitney, 2 where u pause after she hit certain notes and tell us what note she just hear.. we will be waiting..lol

Whenever this took place, her demeanor changed completely as if she knew that EVERY WORD, EVERY NOTE MATTERED...🙏☝️ Very few know that at the end of most of her concerts throughout she would close with JESUS LOVES ME... And Mr.Clive Davis did not like this and it got her in trouble on many levels... Regardless she ignored it and continued to do so till her end. While Mr.Clive Davis was celebrating his birthday Whitney was taking her last breath... Such Beauty in everyway taken away from us all... 😢
Whitney has more power then both.. Celine's power shines more in her upper belts.. where as mariah has power and support throughout.. its hard to say but i think both in their prime and good voice, Mariah would edge her on power/resonance
