And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes [obelisk]. [All of] whom oppressed within the lands and increased therein the corruption. So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. Indeed, your Lord is in observation.

To the Thamud people ( We sent ) Salih, one of their own brethren: he said: " O my people! worship God*: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear ( Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of God is a Sign unto you: so leave her to graze in God's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievious punishment.

@@muhammadabdulwasi243a8 when rasulallah pbuh was passing by this place with all the sahabis, he lowered his head, and decided to hurry and when the people of his (pbuh) caravan took water from the well of thamud, he pbuh told them to throw the water and to get out of that place asap.
that is why it is a sunnat brother.

It wasn’t, after the people of thamud were destroyed by Allah different tribes came and went and inhabited the remains.
Thamud did not come before Abraham!
The quran itslef says that none but FEW inhabited their dwellings after them (thamud). But there is no evidence remaining of the original thamud with how Allah destroyed them. So then those few who inhabited after have been considered to be the builders. The nabateans made many reconstructions and repolishing. Adding more buildings (tombs) or what not. So they are considered to be the builders. Much or most of what can be seen may date back to them, but the origin should be thamud. This is what i believe and i am no historian or anything.

However there Yemenis. There the sons of Saba and himyar which are the Qahtanites and Qahtanites are yemenis. Ad lived in the region of al mahara. And thamud lived northern arabia

Can we see the archeology of Mecca from Mohammad's time? did you find a single pottery or a wall or some artwork from 1400 years ago In Mecca? All my life I will think that the prophet was born in Bacca/Petra in Jordan, if they do not find anything in Mecca, not sign of war, of feast, of living from the time of the prophet. Was the prophet born in Petra, Jordan? I want to know! by the way, I think that Jesus was crucified by the Romans for inciting rebellion in the Jews of jerusalem.
mecca was not abandoned people have always lived there before and after the prophet so it is always full of people and expanding and changing with time. but if you want something to look at there is the blackstone, the well of Zamzam which found in it a lot of coins from different periods also you can check what ever the Turks took with them when they got kicked out of Arabia.

Thus, only seventeen people could both read and write at the dawn of Islam in Mecca.
It has been explained by competent historians that it is simply impossible that Islam began in Petra, and that later on Mecca was unanimously believed to be the place where it began, while no memories of any change or controversy survived in any population across the Muslim world. Anybody who wants to follow the work of someoe as clueless as Dan Gibson is welcome to do so; his poorly reasoned writings and lack of basic knowledge guarantee that the only audiences who will take him seriously are idiots, bigots, and Islamophobes.; qualified and tenured specialists won't have anything to do with his ideas, which are just about the equivalent, among ancient historians, of belief in a flat earth.

@@Vayanovic Nothing you said is true. Arabs aren't superior in Islam all races are equal, also we can only have one wife unless we can be equal and just with all our wives and that is very difficult to achieve otherwise it is forbidden.
You christians start having sex at the age of 13 or 14 and have sex with 10-20 women before you get married then you cheat on your wives or divorce them. I would think commitment with another 1-3 wives while being fair to them and them accepting it would be better than what you're doing in the west.
How can widows get money if they're uneducated and their husbands are dead if they can't find a husband? There's a reason why God allowed multiple wives(4 max) in certain very limited cases.
But I have never met an Arab or Muslims who has more than one wife. It is an extremely rare thing.

Mecca is the only religiously important place in the world with zero marks of history, like buildings, carvings, paintings, pottery, a piece of iron or bronze in a metal detector in the museum? Also, battleflieds leave lots of metal with precise dating, where are they near Mecca? HIjaz and Kufic from 1st century must exist, but it was all destroyed, where did it go? Why did all the texts witnessing mohammad become destroyed for 250 years after his death? Only some pages of the Kuran remain from 1/st 2nd century, nothing else, no history, no facts, as if all the witnesses of Mohammad were killed in the war to control the power. In the UK and Europe, the latin books of the 7th century are 100 ds of pages of text, found inside tombs for example, not 1 x 7 pages from Warraqin, oriental book technology was very good, where are the books gone?
