    This reminded me of something that happened years ago when I worked in a grocery store. There was a huge display of two liter soft drinks that weren't selling very well. The following weekend we would need to change out the seasonal display and move all of the soft drinks to the back room storage area. Someone suggested putting them on sale for the week so we wouldn't have to move as many. The manager said good idea but let me show you how easily the average shopper can be fooled. He got some big bright yellow pieces of poster board and wrote "End of summer special this week only!" followed by a price ten cents higher than they had been all summer. We sold out in four days.

      I've worked places that did that before. People see the "sale" sign and don't think to check what it used to be priced at

      I know for a fact that jcpenny's does this all of the damn time. I work there and half the shit is "on sale". There was also this one tech guy i watched sharing his retail career before RUclips and how the furniture he worked at which is now defunct did the same thimg. There was shit "on sale" almsot every single day and they would say only today.

    My biggest pet-peeve are when guns are described as "lipo-ready" when they truly are not.

      Actually all of them are. They can use 7.4 lipo. They dont say 11.1 ready.

    I always thought that the "Full Metal" gimmick was used to refer to gearbox shells, showing a step up from the plastic ones on LPAEGs. Even still, like you said the brand is still important to consider when buying.
    Looking forward to seeing you out on the field again!

    And as far as FPS, Like i always tell my guys "Its all about the hop Up."

    Expanding on your FPS talk, my 310 fps (planning on changing that so I could use heavier bbs) was out performing guns that just barely passed crono. Also, some of the companies that try to push fps as the main focus of quality will crono their guns with super light weight bbs, such as the shitty .12 gram molded plastic garbage.

    You are absolutely right. Of course you can make good deals, when you know the real prices and look on many platforms to shop, even used guns and parts can be a good deal. I was lucky and got an Avalon Calibur in RAL8000 for 270 eur, never used, so it was absolutely new. Usual the Avalon Calibur in bronze costs here between 420 to 440 eur. So that was a great deal, for a pretty good gun. But hat just works, when you are informed and up to date about the market. But it's worth to compare prices and shipping to get your stuff for the best price. It just takes a bit longer and needs some effort.

    When it comes to mystery boxes just look at all the guns if you would be happy with all of them then buy it if you get the Krytac in the box great if you get the JG (just putting a name in) Great but you need to be happy or have a plan for all the guns in a box. Like if I were to get a JG I might decide to build it up with upgrades or keep as a back up to the backup or use as my emergency parts gun

    If you wish to run a Lipo Battery I highly advise to converting to a Dean's Connection if your AEG isn't equipped with it already.

    Just a general heads up; in a few of your videos the camera loses focus on you. Maybe the auto focus is not working right, I don't know much about video making. But as always, great content and very helpful.

    • @TheBBWarrior
      @TheBBWarrior  7 лет назад +2

      In the space I'm in to film, I have to be pretty close to the camera which can cause it to lose focus, which is really aggravating when I get to editing. The indoor studio is slowly being built though so this shouldn't be an issue soon!

    If you wanna get good gear for a fraction of what local shops sell you, use Aliexpress. Most, if not all of my gear and gun accessories are brought off that site and it's amazing. The wait time for delievery is half a month, depending where you live since they ship from China. Just make sure to check the reviews with photos from other customers. I tend to buy the product with the most reviews and has photos to show you what it actually looks like and so far that tactic has worked really well

    With the first trick a lot of them raise the price for one dAy then reduce it back to what it was and call it a sale that’s perfectly legal

    Orpheus stars is determine what weight be mean you can and can't use and the determines whether you can shoot someone within 100ft or not. The heavier the BB the more FPS you're going to need to take advantage of it. If you're shooting 380-400, use .28's. 350-370 use .25's. 310-340 use.23's. 300 and below,use .2's. you also want a little bit of hop reguardles. Just dont go too crazy to where it arcs over everyone so you cant hit shit. Also if your gun shoots any more than 400 fps outdoors, you get minimum engagement distances. Most cqb fields, the limit is 350 while some do allow 400.

  • @darkshock42mlg05
    @darkshock42mlg05 4 года назад

    If you notice the sale not endinh,then its perminate. Giid example is the ak105 on evike with skeletonized side folding stock. Its remained at $120 fir a long time and is still going to this day. For FPS all I thought you ever needed was 300-350. If you use a heavier spring, you can use heavier bb's. If you gun shoots 380, try .28 or even .32. whichever weight flies straight on max hop. There are also some guns like the ef umerex g36c competiton series (s&t g36c) that have shit hopups. It can barely shoot a .2 straight and thays with the hopup turned way up. Almost max and weather it can shoot .25 is questionable although sonce the gearbox is an ares clone, ots actually ok and accidentally reinforced by the ebb cutout.

    Can you make a video showing off your 416 Krytac? I'm thinking of doing the same thing and I wanted to know what I need to do to make it.

    • @TheBBWarrior
      @TheBBWarrior  7 лет назад +2

      To do this, you'll have to remove the fake bolt from the Krytac gearbox shell. Once that's done, I had to shave a little bit of material from the holes the from body pin to get them to mesh together properly, but I still cannot get the body pin back in (I use a zip tie). I don't have a second Krytac to do this to, so I don't think I'll be able to do a video however if you message me on my facebook page I can show you some photos.

    Tokyo Marui guns shoot good yes, but the low FPS is becuase alot of asia has an FPS cap where they dont allow guns with fps higher than something like 350 or whatever the law is

    There’s a sporting goods store here that will double the msrp of an item, say that’s the msrp, cut it in less than half, and say that’s their price. Pretty sure a 5.11 belt doesn’t cost $160

  • @xXAust1n46Xx
    @xXAust1n46Xx 7 лет назад +5

    Full metal is the biggest scam in Airsoft imo. I bought a "full metal" agm stg44 like 6 years ago and that thing is a corroded disgusting mess now. 90% of "full metal" Airsoft guns are made of heavy zinc pot metal that cracks easily and corrodes. Even the best stock gun receivers are still just cast aluminum which isn't all that great either but at least it's not pot metal.

    • @TheBBWarrior
      @TheBBWarrior  7 лет назад +2

      VFC has some nice cast aluminum bodies, pot metal bodies are garbage, but it's definitely good marketing material to say it's metal!

    • @DumbArse
      @DumbArse 5 лет назад +3

      Then take care of your gun? A nice oiling from time to time, not letting it sit in very humid places like cellars and shit go a long way

    • @Haneix1
      @Haneix1 5 лет назад +1

      Are you as dense as this pot metal you speak of? Any rifle regardless of the metal unless its titanium will corrode if left for 6 years without cleaning or maintenance. I have the AGM STG44 you speak of, I live in Ireland and take it out in the rain on a regular basis, going strong 3 years and I even have scratched surface paint off to give it a weathered effect. If you spent more time looking after what you've purchased your gun would be near pristine.

  • @darkshock42mlg05

    These cyma ak's arent exactly full metal. The cheaper ones have plastic bodies . The rest except the furniture is metal. However if you're lucky, you can get a truly full metal cyma ak 105 for $120 on sale. Be sure to do research on the gun first if you want full metal for real. Also lipo ready does not mean it can handle 11.1. you need a mosfet for that and if you want one, the gun will be at least $250. The guns will function on 11.1 but you will destroy your trigger contacts which will stop your motor from even running since there's nothing to complete the circuit. Also high FPS just means you guns more likely to be illegal. Most fields only allow 400 fps for machine guns. In cqb, 350 but my arena allows full power even going as far as 500 fps sniper rifles although its a semi auto field but full auto has a minimum engagement of 20 ft from machine guns but thats subjective because that can mean anything that isnt a pistol or shotgun. The reason sniper rifles and the dmr's have higher FPS is so you actually feel the bb hit you.

Hopefully I'll be there for one of their other games, and I do hit up Tactical Airsoft every once and awhile. Each week I'll be posting a day or two before on our Facebook page if I'm going to be playing that weekend.
