That's a clever way of doing a multi functional jig! I've only made templates to do similar sized polymer clay pieces.

Nice jig! When using the laser on the coasters do you find the engraving different for each slate coaster since the coasters vary in thickness? The distance from the laser head to the coaster does not change but the height of the slate coaster varies. Or is the minimal difference in slate coaster thickness not much to worry about?
Hey thanks for the comment. I only worry about the height difference when doing high detail coasters.
