That is the impression I'm getting, I don't know the details yet and I haven't seen it done in front of me, but I'd like to be able to view the whole process at some point so I can give it a fair assessment
@@LaserEverything - The tube swapping as their video shows is highly interesting. I (and I am sure many) look forward to your assessment when the time comes.
yeah dude, it happened right in front of me on camera. I want to see it fire a project off, then be moved around like that and hit another project! I should be heading to their warehouse in a couple of months to see some cool stuff =)
They certainly are offering some nice QOL improvements over the classic line and the (at least base) prices while still more expensive than average I think pretty closely reflect the changes they've made. Looking forward to hearing more.
so many cool added features. I especially like the idea of not having to remove those tiny screws when switching out to the 2.5" lens for tumbler marking
For CO2 gantry lasers I've been an Epilog owner for years because of their ceramic-metal RF laser sources, and their speed & accuracy. BUT, their shortcoming have always been in versatility - they do not (and will not ever) offer material pass-through; they do not offer anything other than their standard rim drive and chuck rotary (and the chuck only for certain models), and refuse to allow access to their control protocol to allow 3rd party rotary devices; you are absolutely locked to Windows for their driver & dashboard. Seeing another laser company bring out a line of lasers that can both compete with Epilog in terms of speed & (presumably) precision, while offering a wider range of bed sizes, rotary options, and material pass-through is exciting. The only hang up I see for Aeon is going to be pricing.......but I suspect that may not be a hurdle in the long run. (edit: had smacked 'enter' inadvertently)
My husband just retired after 20+ yrs from the army. He always said when he retires he wanted a laser. Now that he has retired and see’s the prices he just says, “Maybe in the next lifetime!”
The series is comprised of a wide range of models with different workspaces and sources. There's a link in the description if you want to check out the full list!
Takeaways from this video. 1. I love Matt. 🤣 2. The part where you say "BRILLIANT". 🥹 We're so proud of this series. It's been years in the making and months of hard work. Please come to headquarters in FL! You'll love it. Seriously!
love you too lady! It was so cool getting to see these in person and get all the tech specs from Lek. That guy is BRILLIANT! Thanks again for the invite!
Being able to swap tubes like that is wild. Different wattages AND sources? Pure madness.

Pretty neat to see a company pushing the industry forward!

it is insane that I could do it with one hand WHILE filming! so much time and hassle saved just from that feature alone.
Same, probably my favorite new thing lol
@@elccreations1498 Matt, your content you recorded while there is amaing. Thank you for taking the time in doing so.
Nice break down. Woooot!!🎉🎉
Appreciate it bro! If you're reading this comment and you haven't seen Michael's video about it click his profile and go watch it, it's a banger too!
All that and grate costumer support training and software support. I'm sold.
Very slick. Are the super nova’s dual source? Allowing switching between glass tube and RF via software settings?
They are 😎
Yes they are!
Spicy!
🔥🔥🔥
Good stuff but not nearly enough of my boy Matt! lol
I went out of my way to ask him if he had any footage of himself before cutting this episode. Not a thing, not even a single selfie!
@@LaserEverything I was too damn busy looking at all of the LASERS man!
