I went to the dealeship and only the sedan has room for a spare like the gas models. Unfortunately, the hatchback's trunk well is too shallow for a spare.
I think they gave the Sport Hybrid just enough pizzaz for it to be the sweet spot in the lineup. But I wonder if they gave it more sound deadening. When I drove the 2022 Sport back when it was first released, I remember the Civic Sport had SO MUCH road noise. That pushed me to step up to an Accord Sport in the end. 100% worth. I wonder if the Civic Sport hybrid has more sound deadening. I would hope because this hybrid powertrain is ultra refined.
I agree with you there. Personally, I think the Sport Hybrid would be the perfect fit if it also had the upgraded 9" infotainment screen. I know the Sport Touring Hybrid has additional sound proofing - I will have to drive them back to back and let you know.
@@c.harperautogroup I will likely get the Civic Sport (non hybrid) just because it does come with a spare tire though I was looking forward to the hybrid model since it has a moon roof and a few other upgrades the non hybrid doesn't offer. Mahalo!
The Sport Hybrid is essentially like the ICE Sport with the hybrid instead of the N/A engine and drivetrain, with a sunroof, the powerflow meter, no auto start/stop, regenerative braking steering wheel paddles instead of the shifters. Also, the two Hybrid trims have body color painted trim pieces under the headlights and bottom front fascia lip, instead of flat black on the LX and Sport. Both are great choices depending what you want and can afford. The Sport Touring Hybrid of course has all the premium features and options. And yes, the tire fix a flat/inflator kit instead of the space saver spare tire for the hybrid models. It's great that even the Sport now has the blind spot/rear cross traffic monitoring like on the HR-V Sport, and the rear seat center fold down armrest with cupholders. There's a great selection of OEM and aftermarket accessories, including a $40 horn upgrade kit and key fob covers, as well as a black Touring Emblem for some reason not available with the optional black Honda H Mark, Civic, Sport and Hybrid emblems from the College Hills Honda website. LasFit also has the replacement LED bulbs for the incandescent ones in the taillights. I plan to get a FWD HR-V Sport because it's more practical for what I need and want, but would love to have a new 2025 Sport Sedan or Hatchback, or a Sport Touring Hybrid either body style for all the bells and whistles.
@@AutomotiveMarketingDIY Often, only Canada versions have been getting the heated steering wheels, but I know it gets cold in other places. Just not here in Hawai'i.
The Sport does have heated mirrors but no blind spot monitoring unfortunately. You have to step up into the Sport Hybrid or Sport Touring Hybrid for blind spot monitoring.
@@c.harperautogroup the 2025 Civic sport with 150 horsepower gasoline engine does have blind spot monitoring standard along with rear cross traffic and heated mirrors. I have test-driven two of them and they both had blindspot monitoring.
@c.harperautogroup The ICE Sport does have blind spot and rear cross traffic mo storing as commented above. It also has the rear seat center fold down armrest with cophokders it didn't have previously.
Correction @3:23 - Both Sport models do come with Blindspot Monitoring and heated side view mirror.
Good comparison. Can you buy the spare tire & tools and fit in the hybrid model?
There is a similar portion underneath the fix a flat kit on the Hybrid models. Whether it can fit a Spare like the non-hybrid versions I'm not sure.

Big bummer the hybrid does not come with a spare tire.
I agree :( I'm guessing there will be aftermarket solutions for it though

I am once again asking for heated seats and maybe lumbar on the Civic. Hybrid Sport Touring would be perfect!!
We hear ya there! Thanks for watching
Both Sport Hybrid trims have heated seats, cloth and leather seats respectively, but no adjustable lumbar support..
