The thing that's becoming clear to me, the WNBA is a clown show. The league was handed a generational talent, and they have completely mismanaged this opportunity. Many of the players are exposing themselves as petty and jealous. The WNBA's largest problem is that they're unlikable.

And I've been playing basketball all my life including in college. Caitlin Clark is shooting 36% from the field 32% from the 3-point line and leads the league in turnovers. These were pretty much the same numbers while she was in college. She is a high volume low efficiency shooter. The regency sport the points he scored is because they let her shoot the ball a crazy number of times. Girls in the WNBA right now are shooting 49% 47% 42% from 3-point line. She broke the turnover record before the year was half over with. And again this isn't new to the WNBA she had the same problem with turnovers while in college. Now I know media hype helps build ratings I understand that part of the machine. But couldn't they highlight someone who's actually an elite player without such glaring deficiencies. Aja Wilson Sabrina Lonescu plum. All of these players are clearly better than Clark. But like I do understand controversy brings ratings all these girls came in without natural enemies. She came in with an enemy. So they're trying to create a Larry Bird magic Johnson thing. And as far as padding stats. So many of her so-called or assist are not catch and shoot. Let's just try an experiment. I'm going to talk basketball. You said the WNBA was given a generational talent. No I've been walking the WNBA for a few years now. And I've been playing basketball all my life including in college. Caitlin Clark is shooting 36% from the field 32% from the 3-point line and leads the league in turnovers. These were pretty much the same numbers while she was in college. She is a high volume low efficiency shooter. The regency sport the points he scored is because they let her shoot the ball a crazy number of times. Girls in the WNBA right now are shooting 49% 47% 42% from 3-point line. She broke the turnover record before the year was half over with. And again this isn't new to the WNBA she had the same problem with turnovers while in college. Now I know media hype helps build ratings I understand that part of the machine. But couldn't they highlight someone who's actually an elite player without such glaring deficiencies. Aja Wilson Sabrina Lonescu plum. All of these players are clearly better than Clark. But like I do understand controversy brings ratings all these girls came in without natural enemies. She came in with an enemy. So they're trying to create a Larry Bird magic Johnson thing. And as far as padding stats. So many of her so-called or assist are not catch and shoot. She's being credited for assist when she passes the ball to a player who dribbles for a while makes a move and then scores. I know the rules for assist allow a little bit of flexibility. But come on they're making it so obvious to anybody actually unbiasedly watching. I like many players in the new rookie class. And they certainly have tools to become really good players someday. I loved watching MJ play, but he wasn't playing by himself. I watched the Russell/Wilt rivalry and many, many others. I will say this…. Even in HS ball, if you missed 60% of your layups, you’d be cut. But when you can’t shoot and miss 60% from 2’, you’re bound to get more than your fair share of rebounds simply because of that.
