    Damn. I’m Chinese American, now 67 years old. When I was in second grade, I was the best basketball player in my class. I sank a half court shot, could do a crossover dribble. But I stopped growing. All those kids got to be 6 feet or over that I could outplay. You go dude. Pursue your dreams.

      @@greedisbad9890 Facundo played quite well in the NBA, but if Campazzo had to return to play in the Euroleague again, I don't think that Kawamura would have a lot of minutes. Their size makes them a walking target in 1on 1 defense. They need defensive teamplay systems to cover them and in the NBA nobody knows how to defense as a team.

      Vast majority of playmakers in the league can do everything he did at a much higher level. He needs to hit shots if any of his playmaking is going to work in actual games. Scouting report will come out that he's not a scoring threat and defenders will just go under or ignore him entirely.

      love the positivity ❤!! i totally hear what you're saying, but It seems like whenever a shorter player shows out, people love to jump to the "big heart" narrative. But let's be real, it's about skill, technique, and basketball IQ. Height doesn’t define how well someone can play, and being 5'8" or 5'9" etc. doesn’t automatically mean you’re grinding harder.     He’s faster and more agile. Their height makes it hard to reach his grasp of the ball since his arms are at their knees. He knows his shots would get blocked easily so they’re using him as a playmaker. Awesome

    I've watched Kawamura play a lot. If he were 6'4", he'd be a superstar. He's still got a lot to learn about PG at the NBA level, but his slash and pass game is already elite. He's got excellent court vision, change of pace, he's a good finisher at the rim, and he can get hot from 3pt range.

    He is so efficient, he’s not wasting time hogging the ball, he’s either shooting or passing to the next guy. Also let’s appreciate how his the Grizzlies are all moving. For a guy like him to excel, everyone needs to be doing their jobs and they are, their constant movement is awesome. Kawamura X Zach Edey = Asian connection? Or Beasts from the East?

      It’s not that the NBA doesn’t give them opportunities, it’s just far too often these players get lost in a sea of long arms, tall dudes and hyper athleticism. Just the reality of the professional game sadly for players under 6 foot
