I think minimum we need 2 starting OL players and a FA edge rusher and then on cheaper deals we pick up a CB, safety and RB. THAT would be the best (and realistic) FA to me.
Legette is legit. Insane athlete who plays with intensity you cant teach. Definitely in the minority on this one but if Maye doesnt fall to us Id much rather go ER at 6 (Dallas Turner) instead of WR and then grab XL at 39 without hesitation. Also huge shoutout for being the only content creators Ive seen mention him
Saquon needs to land on a team that will make better use of him than Kafka did (less running straight up the middle) - wear & tear is more important than Giant for life
I've never seen such a misuse of Saquan Barkley, than with Kafka and Dabol, have they ever heard of a fullback, probably not!!!

Alex and Anthony, my question is how can we know if Saquon Barkley and the Eagles, Texans or whomever has mutual interest if they legally cant enter into contact to get a contract. How do we know this isnt disinformation started by Barkleys agent to get the Giants to give a larger deal??

If NYG can't get a top 3 QB via trade up, maybe w their top 5 picks in 1st 4 rounds they can get the following

The lack of tags on X and SB are clear indications that we are finally on a full rebuild. S and RBs are luxuries and should not be on 2024, 2025 and 2026 books. LT and DT are fine. So, draft a QB this year and build OL, Edge, and CB. Rest are not priority. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Okereke get traded
I will laugh and smile should Saquon finds his way on a Cowboys or Eagles roster.

I’m a Barkley fan however, with the years he has left to play healthy I actually would like to see him go to a team where he can fully do his thing maybe even get a championship.

I love Leggett but he won’t be there at 39 assuming we go qb early. If we trade up for a much needed qb we may not even have a 2nd round pick. Schoen needs to kill it in free agency. He hit on Bobby and Pinnock if that counts but he has quite a few misses.
Wanna spend less money but Saquon is not just a rB
Last season they invested in the wrong personnel we should have just kept investing in only the o-line then the following year get more weapons
As always enjoy your take on free agency and Saquon agree we need to first fix offensive line with both Onwenu and replace Evan Neal or be flex player on line and get Eluemunor who has relationship with our new line coach and possibly get running back Josh Jacobs or familiar backs Moss or Singletary if Barkley leaves. As for Waller cut him save seven million use for free agency to fill needed holes.

Waller cares about Schoen and the job he has to do as much as Schoen cares about Barkley wanting to be here forever as a top paid RB. I like Moss at RB as well too.
Eagles getting Saquon would add a lot to their roster and take away a lot from ours…unless it’s a MASSIVE overpay. RB FA is loaded tho! O-line!

Plot twist, Barkley is threatening signing with Philly so NYG pays him more to keep him away from them. If he does go, barring no injury, he’ll have a pretty great season. I do, however, believe no Kelce makes it more difficult for Hurts. (Philly will probably sign a FA C or draft an early C)

I did a Mock draft today and I would like your take. I am more and more thinking we draft JJ McCarthy. Just getting a feeling . And I do have a good feeling about him but taking him at 6 hurts. So I did a draft of trade downs but nothing huge. The situation is, Marvin Harrison is there at 6 - sounds crazy but I do not think its THAT crazy. Atlanta who Signed Kurt Cousins traded with us to take Harrison we get an extra 2nd round pick and move to 8 where we take JJ.
8 - JJ McCarthy - I know, it feels like a reach. high upside. Huge risk. But It doesn't feel bad either and we get an extra 2nd pick to help what is now a total rebuild.
39 - Graham Barton IOL duke - love this guy, beef up the Interior Oline to pair with a veteran RT I hope we sign.
46- Xavier Legette WR - a fireside Giants favorite. And we all KNOW that Joe Schoen and Dabs are wattching this PODCAST FOR TIPS!!!!
51 - Mike Sainristil -CB Nickle type Corner from Michigan. Impressed at combine. Kinda struggles in tackling but otherwise like him
70 - Adisa isaac Edge - no idea really but he fell in terms of rank and had to get someone else on D
84 - Trey Benson RB - the next Brandon Jacobs!
185 - Brevyn Spann-Ford TE minnesota - no idea. hes a TE and Waller is flaking out. good bye waller.
so, a couple trade downs were involved to get extra 2nd pick and an extra 3rd. Just trying to guage what the world will look like when we Draft JJ and....gulp...I think we might. And arguably a better gamble than trading away assets to get the TOP 3 QB when its looking like we are approaching this as a complete rebuild given the recent Barkley and Mckinny news.
I think it poses the interesting debate - trade away assets ( if we even can ) to get say Drake Maye at pick 3 when signs are pointing to a complete rebuild. OR...something that looks like this draft? I do NOT see us doing some kind of gamble of taking BO NIX or Penix if they are even there in round 2 - just doesnt feel like what our front office will do.

The owner wants to fill the seats; in order to have a good income; to pay; coaches, players, co-ordinators, etc. people go to see the team; but mainly Saquan Barkley; because of his toughness, speed, agility, moves, the guy is a one man show, their not going to go; to just see Daniel Jones; re-sign Saquan for 4yrs-$50mil; before another team does.
I know this is typical of the league in general but I’ll double down on a strong WR class like this and if available I’ll take Odunze in 6 and Legget in the second if available and a second round quarterback that Daboll thinks he can work with. You’ll have a WR1&2 let Slayton walk, FA guards and Bricillo can fix the line. When have we had a chance to get two really good WR’s

i'm taking swift over 26 at this point. He's proved he can play at a high level with some talent on the o-line and he's younger. Can use him in the pass and run game. saquan i love him, but to old, to many injuries he's got two good years at best
