We did the same route last year, we flew from Tenerife to agadir and spent 2 weeks driving to merzouga, marrakech and back to agadir driving the same roads you are, and it was a dream and the clay earth is used for everything from house building to pots plates and cups. It was my 4th time in Morocco but the first time in the south, next year I’m planning a north to south and back 1 month trip on motorbikes with 2 friends starting with the boat from Tenerife as we all live on La Gomera.
Your videos are masterpieces. We feel like traveling with you in this beautiful road trip. Your calm voice, your beautiful accent with a gentleman's style of presenting are all wonderful. I love British people like you. Our country is developing even with few resources, so many hardships, and so many things still to improve, but we Moroccans are hardworking people and determined to make our nation a good place to live. We are very proud to welcome you and see you happy, enjoying it and contributing to the development of tourism in our country. We still receive mainly tourists from neighboring France and Spain but would love to see more British, American, Canadian and Australian people visiting our country. A Moroccan fan. Subscribed.❤❤❤
I was in Denmark St, London yesterday, and bumped into a quite famous singer/ songwriter. I know him from a recording studio I'd worked in a while back. I was on my motorbike, and we got chatting about bikes etc, then he asked me if I had ever watched Freddie Dobbs channel? Apparently, he's a big fan and watches often!
Theres not many countries left that have been unspoilt by big business and politics, Morocco is a beautiful mix of chaos and growth. Loving a return to Morocco and so pleased you took Monika along to record and experience the adventure
Yet more stunning landscape and what a beautiful spot to stay! There is only one problem I can see travelling with Monika in the Jeep….. to much opportunity to load the car up with purchases that, if you were on the bike, you’d never have room for! Lol 😆
Another cracking episode. Takes a lot of effort to do these so well done and than you so much for sharing . Anne ( wife) and I been watching right from the early days and get very excited when a new episode appears. We usually sit down with coffee and cake to “ do a Freddie”. In your wake we’ve had joy of visiting many of the villages and towns in your travels. Relaxed , effortless styles that belies work required to produce great content. Great camera work and accompanying music to boot. When we were young and living in a small village our travel escape was Alan Whicker in ‘Whicker World’ You’re doing the same 60 years on. Thanks again. Jim and Anne
This is fantastic. I think I would feel right at home there in many ways. It is so similar to our American west right down to the roadside venders you find on Native American (First Peoples) reservations with their wonderful crafts. Thankyou.
Amazing views ❤ have to say driving through morocco, chill vibes & amazing landscape get to meet the locals is a absolute dream ❤ Olso have to give a huge shout out to Monica for selecting such amazing accomodations
Spectacular Freddie and Monika, amazing views, culture and what a trip in the jeep. I have never fancied going there but you just changed that with this video
Another superbly presented episode Freddie. It's wonderful to see positive comments on your well spoken gentleman's style too, thoroughly deserved may I add. Morocco looks so civilized and stylish and will be on my bucket list for sure.👍
As always, this is a delightful and glorious video. I'm glad to see you enjoying your time in my country. Next time you pour the tea, be sure to lift the teapot higher to achieve the right tea foam. It's unfortunate that we can't meet. have a nice one
What a beautiful way to start my Sunday morning. I'm a senior that truly enjoys your travels. The photography and editing is so professionally done. Monika picks some of the nicest places to lodge and she shares them with you. Lol. A match made in heaven. Looking forward to the next video. 👍👍
Thanks Andrew! We didn’t end up repairing anything (no breakdown cover or damage re-planned route etc). The only thing that was a game changer was our Airalo app (in order to get a Moroccan e-sim card)👌🏻
Saludos..
Really appreciate you mentioning the temperature at the top of the Atlas as I’ll be riding over there in 2 weeks and I was wondering what riding jacket I should bring with me
I wish you could persuade Monica to appear on camera. It would enhance the travel story by 100%. A few Moroccan facts. 1/ the Atlas Mountains mean Morocco will never be short of water. Hence the amount of fruit and veg that are imported to the U.K. from Morocco. 2/ Disposable plastic bags are the curse of the Moroccan countryside. 3/ Make and mend is the Moroccan way.
Where Freddie and Monika are is where we rode on KTM 450 enduros - spectacular. Freddie - you have a bike channel rather than Jeep channel - come on boy - get on your bike ruclips.net/video/ho1wgh1go30/видео.htmlsi=A__dzptPkxKmGBWt
I'm pretty sure that oasis hotel you stayed at was the same one we used on our 'World of BMW' tour many years ago. I joined the tour at Plymouth having ridden my 1150 GS down from Cheshire. We took the ferry to Santander and rode 3 days and 2 night stops down through Spain, mostly avoiding motorways, then across to Ceuta in Morocco, then down through Fez and Errachidia to Erfoud, then on to the Sahara. Return was through the Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate and Marrakesh, back up to Ceuta for the crossing to Spain. Then back up through Spain (avoiding motorways) again 3 days and 2 nights but by a different route from our outbound one, and Santander ferry back to Plymouth. It was an absolutely amazing adventure taking about 3 weeks in total. Vince C

This is a very good point- there was infinitely more shopping done on this road trip than usual😆
Monicas videos are soooo profesional 👍👍👍

I am loving this trip Freddie, how about a video explaining your preparations for it? It motivates me to follow in your tracks!
What preparation? 😂😂😂
Thanks Andrew! We didn’t end up repairing anything (no breakdown cover or damage re-planned route etc). The only thing that was a game changer was our Airalo app (in order to get a Moroccan e-sim card)👌🏻
@@FreddieDobbs why did you need the eSIM card Freddie? Is it to avoid roaming charges?
How did you book your overnight stays?
Saludos..

Really appreciate you mentioning the temperature at the top of the Atlas as I’ll be riding over there in 2 weeks and I was wondering what riding jacket I should bring with me
Definitely bring a set of thermals too just in case. Apart from that and a nice warm jacket, you’ll be totally fine:)
Leh Ladakh is waiting for you.
100%!
You know where to place the camera to make it a treat for the eyes and the soul of the viewer 👍👍

Why dont you take the Jeeps tops off ? Your missing out bro....
Fun fact: The Atlantic Ocean takes its name from the Atlas Mountains.
Freddie you gotta start telling us about fashion and where you get your jackets
No thanks….if you want a fashion channel look elsewhere ……🥸
@@neilurquhart8622 I started watching Freddie & Monika in 2020-21, when the channel was very heavily about fashion and lifestyle. I miss those days.
Awesome videos Freddie, but slightly torn on the issue of running a thirsty 4x4 across Europe and back for fun.
It makes no logical sense, so I cannot even try to justify it… other than I absolutely love it! But it’s madness, of course😆
They might be the last generation who are allowed to drive such vehicles, or even to travel where they want to. Let them enjoy it!

Lost interest when you switched from Triumph to Jeep, sorry.
