In 2007, I played the third game on Xbox in my cousin's house and really loved it. After two years, an interesting story happened. When I was a student in high school in 2009, a sound system is setup for a room in the school with a computer. While it's setup, the drivers' CD is needed to make the sound system work. My teacher asked me to do it and gave me a pile of CDs. I started to search for driver but swtiching from CD to other, I found the double original CDs of this game with their registration codes! I took them to home and installed on same day. It was very difficult but there was just pure enjoy playing. The detail level is just mind-blown. I love Vegas series also but this game is another world. One of the best titles I've ever played. Thanks for your effort also. Watching the epsiodes is just great. 👍

I’m 30 and just got an Xbox one to play some new games for the first time. I bought the latest Rainbow, Splinter cell and wolfenstein. Why are they so terrible? I haven’t played any games in about 10 years. I grew up playing SWAT 4, splinter cell chaos theory, ravens shield...there literally isn’t a single realistic shooter that involves stealth or strategy. It’s all just go in guns blazing. I loved the stealthy approaches using mind over muscle in these games!

Splinter Cell Blacklist was good IMO but Rainbow Six Siege isn't even rainbow six anymore. Ghost Recon is not even Ghost Recon anymore. What the hell happened.
Played this amazing game to death back in the day. At first I hated the planning stage, opting instead for a spontaneous 1 team setup. I kept failing, of course, and one day decided to actually spend time learning the game. Eventually I was able to simply spectate each custom-planned mission executed to perfection. Best tactical shooter to date and far ahead of its time.

Maybe it’s just nostalgia, who knows…
Ground branch I don't know what that is actually, never ever heard of it, at all. Ready or Not I thought looked great, but kind of... shallow when it comes to actual content? Like it didn't feel like a real game like SWAT 4, just a few levels to have fun with your homies in co-op, a proof of concept, rather than a real singleplayer experience + mp options. Maybe something changed from the release tho. :)) And yeah, about the second bit, nostalgia definitely plays a role, but somehow, I feel like the gameplay of classic r6, ghost recon 1 + expansions, and SWAT 3/4, are just top notch, and it's not just nostalgia speaking, they are great, classic squad-based tactical shooters. :)
My problem was hen I played was that alot of the maps were big id get lost half the time lol or id be on a good run then my computer would crash 😅 I got this for Christmas the yr it came out
None actually. Tactical shooters are completely dead. R6 Siege is a MOBA with no actual tactics, just straight up shooter with anime soldiers with skills, and Ready or Not is much more police-focused, and more multiplayer heavy.
This game, SWAT 4 and Hidden and Dangerous 2 are the pinnacle of this genre. We don't get games like this anymore

No, maybe Ready or Not would be the only one. Tactical shooter genre is dead. :c
Ground branch
The only way to make progress in this game is to cheese with smoke grenades and silenced weapons.
21:02 "a hostage was killed"
oh no! anyway...
I felt some nostalgia for rainbow six I played as a kid.. no more. Holy cringe that intro, why don't I remember it?
Not cringe at all.
Childhood memories
I loved this game so much. Which games are similiar today?
None actually. Tactical shooters are completely dead. R6 Siege is a MOBA with no actual tactics, just straight up shooter with anime soldiers with skills, and Ready or Not is much more police-focused, and more multiplayer heavy.
The last amazing rainbow six games were the vegas franchise.
COD but actually soldiers and commanders think and can control characters
