I like how the role of the Hullbreaker as a Keystone Species is given a lot more emphasis as some people don't often view large predators as a keystone species even if their presence in an ecosystem means that the environment is healthy. Also, it'd be nice to hear more of the Hintermen's "Wyrm Songs" whenever a Hullbreaker attacks a settlement.
Your ideas are genius, seriously. This is one of the most rich, compelling worlds I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing about. It’s astounding what you’ve cooked up!
Hearing the thunderous punches of hullbreakers waking up and emerging from their icy prisons as a sign of spring is so much cooler than a groundhogs shadow.
“Oh ya hear that?” *AGGRESSIVE PUNCHING AND ICE SHATTERING AS A GARGANTUAN SCALY MONSTER ERUPTS FROM ITS’ FROZEN CAGE, READY TO RESUME ITS’ LORDSHIP OVER THE FROZEN WASTELAND OF WHICH IT RULES* “It’s spring time!”
One small thing (amongst many) that I do really love in this project is the varying flight ability amongst dragon species. With many other settings with dragons (namely how to train your dragon, which i also love), the philosophy tends to be that any dragon, so long as it has wings, can in effect fly as fast and far as any other, regardless of wing size and shape, so it is really cool to see flightless winged dragons and dragons that are not as effective at flight than other species here.
I don't know if you'll see this, but in your Kinsbane video I saw a drawing of a young Kinsbane being attaked by a hullbreaker. I'd love it if you made a video talking about interesting/unique interactions between different species of dragon
I desperately hope that one day you're book gets picked up by a large gaming company and gets made into a monster hunter esque video game it would be so cool.
