I came across Kaleo by watching The Walking Dead. Way down we go, was playing on one of the episodes. That is how I got hooked on their music and I haven’t looked back.
Pure raw talent...no crazy dance moves..weird looking clothes...zero antics..just a few normal looking guys standing out there and...creating beautiful music......its freakin awesome ! Love the drummer !

Singer had such a huge amount of selfcofidence in front the crowd that he impresed me. He actually behaved like all 50000 peaople was there only for Kaleo concert. KALEO GREAT BAND !

They're all extremely talented, but there seems to be something extra special about JJ!!! Check out some of their early interviews if you haven't already. They're all so down-to-earth and unpretentious, really nice guys.
I LOVE MUSIC! I first heard the song "Way Down We Go", WOW! Loved it. Looked up who sang it. Listened to there other songs and just fell in love with this band. His voice is truly incredible and the band is great! It's been quite a while since I've heard this kind of natural talent. So happy to have found them. Love Love Love .

He makes his deep, raspy voice flow so well with various types of rock (indi, blues, alternative, to name a few), and to back that up, has electrifying, soul-rocking live performances. Seriously, how many artists actually sound better in live performances compared to their studio recordings? Very, very few. Truly a phenomenon. Waiting on the next album by the minute.
Best current band in the world. Actually throws me back into the 90's when most of the music was real and raw. And they happen to be better than most of them too. If I could see one last band it would be this one. ❤️

Just came from watching these guys on KEXP and thought that they are great but would never do well in a live concert but what a great band...Hell! was I wrong about that assumption. How in hell do these guy coming out of Iceland have such a grasp of all the nuances in rock, blues, soul...the list goes on. These guys are great. I wish I was a young'n again. This guy knows just exactly what to do, play and say.
Wow I remember the first time I booked a Kaleo's concert in Amsterdam. They just played for a little audience in that time compare to this. I am so happy that they are getting the recognition they deserve. This guys are the best performance I have ever seen

I was never a huge Queen fan (esp. shocking cause I like me some dudes, lol) but the main concert footage I saw of them, actually just recently, he was moving around quite a bit. I was really shocked at some of the provocative things he was doing with the mic too. Haha.. and to think, he was still so talented he could get tons of straight guys to line up for hours just to get up close! But you're right the singer from Kaleo really does sing from a place deep inside, that's true talent, it's a shame the younger generation just goes with the music they think is gonna make them seem "cool". This is REAL music.
I recently started listening to Kaleo and now I`m excited too see this guys live on Lollapalooza Stockholm this year. Then I came across this video and I realized they played on Lollapalooza Brazil the exact day I went to the festival in 2018, but I didn`t see them! If only I knew....

Saw them in San Diego a few times. Fantastic band. Also been to Iceland twice, and can't imagine how they survived Brazil's muggy heat.
