Dont forget the warehousing industie, all hotels, shopping malls, restorants and supermarkets need to be supplied, these suppliers need a warehouse, office and showrooms, this market is very undervalued.

Regarding the weather and what recently happened.
Of course we cannot blame the government for not being prepared and everyone says that it wasn't planned, BUT:
    1. Even when government IS planning a cloud seeding - flooding still happens, every time they do rain - city is a mess and no one is prepared. If they do it artificially - they can predict the amount of rain, and still all the streets and buildings are flooded.
    2. Developers are still building houses which cannot handle rain and I think government should seriously work on that standards otherwise we will face same problems every year.
    3. Thousands of people lost their cars, phones, documents, appliances , furniture, their houses are a mess - and there is no one to take responsibility of that - what should they do? What should the taxi driver who was forced to work on that day do with his flooded car, cash, phone? I will tell you what happens - they will start selling "special package" insurances which will cover expenses in a case of floods, which will be a new way of specualtion.
    4. Private sector employees are getting fined for not coming at work at the rainy day - how they supposed to come if city infrastructure cannot arrange it? The government should fine employers and businesses who is forcing their staff to put themselves in danger.
Why no one is talking about these problems but keeping comparing UAE to other countries and the way they handle floods?

Stuff does not fall apart that quickly when a visa is cancelled :) Du and Etisalat yes, that goes right away... everything else should be ok till you transition to another visa.

You bank account gets blocked in the same second thats why it is advisable when moving companies to withdraw all you deposit before it gets locked to almost a month till you get your new employment 👌

Really? You scare me :D We have been living here for 16 years or so, the only time my bank got blocked was the one I had a mortgage with, that was as soon as the EOSB from my company hit the account. My other account kept working so the first one It stayed blocked for 2 years because I could not be bothered to go to Sharjah to submit some stupid documents lol...
I learned a lesson and since that day I have 3 bank account, 1 for credit cards, 1 for mortgage and 1 pure savings, with no liabilities attached. I think you are speaking of the same experience.
My experience is that as long as there is no mortgage, the bank does not touch your account, because I had a car loan and credit cards active while not having a visa while I was working for a year in another country... then I came back, got a new employment visa and carried forward from where I left off.
