Hey there, i genuinely liked the idea that you guys are appreciating our indian fitness culture, Also as being a indian and having some knowledge about indian mace(gada) i would like to tell you that if you would make it with bamboo and a spherical pot only it'll be much better, because, 1. As you know that spherical shape has it's centre of mass concentrated to a single point only, not like on the whole line in cylindrical shape (which is in your case) So you should use something like a fish bowl or even a old football/volleyball would do the job, and this will provide you a better torque, which is the main reason to do gada exercise! 2. If you use a bamboo then it surely would provide you a better grip, and again bamboo being the lighter than the stick you used, would help in to concentrate the centre of mass at a single point only, So yeah i hope you'll take this in consideration! Ps, am not an expert in this, just an indian teen who observed this and love to share✨🌺
Great video Victoria! This is still on my to do list once I find the damn materials! Great that you linked the other vids below, Marcus' was pretty tough and ready but I love that dude, his book is awesome.

this wood is not bamboo
No its not bamboo. It's much more dense and not very flexible. I was not able to find bamboo at my local stores.
