A leather wrapped handle wouldnmakenit even sexier. Awesome eithernway.
Oi don't waste food please. 🙏🥲
@@the._.lonewolf7282 i didn’t waste it, i used it to make a video.
Nice 'Potato Masher'... One day, it'd be great to see you weld-up a 'flanged mace' head... Cold Steel have a cool looking design, but I'll wager you could have fun making it yourself at a fraction of the cost.
I think the simplest weapons of any kind are usually the ones that do the most damage, and can outlast any “nicely made” froo froo blade or blunt smashing things. Great job with the D.P cameos by the way 😁👍🏽
Thank you, ill definitely be making some simple weapons in the future as well mate.
And im certainly thinking of more like this i can do.
@@DiesInEveryFilm Can you try making a tetsu-ken. It's basically a truncheon shaped like a wakizashi but the blade is completely blunt. No sharp edges.
Absolutely
Bludgeoning weapons will always be my favorite builds to see. Great job as always
They are so much fun to make and play with haha
Now that is straight to the point! Wicked!
Thanks very much mate, I appreciate you watching
I am re-watching this a year later and I still love this build. There is something about a Mace. I really want to make this.
Get it done mate
I actually really like this look. I've got a couple walking staves that I used plumbing fittings on. The caps will probably outlive the sticks themselves, though! 😆
One thing I thought of later, though, was to use spray-on truck bed-lining (you know, kind of like Rhino Lining or whatever) on the ends to offer some kind of non-skid surface, and to keep the metal from wearing down.
Thanks mate, usually i see people glue on a little disc of rubber so it doesn’t slip which should be a lot tougher than the bed lining
@@DiesInEveryFilm What about some epoxy to keep it in place?
Finally! Something I think I could make at home!
Perfect, thanks for watching
Love that little bit with the sad music towards the end.
Hahahahaha trying to make you feel the hell.
Good looking and effective club!
I'm impressed that the head stayed on after that beating!
Thanks mate, aye the head is on solid, it’s threaded and glued, that thing isn’t going anywhere
I'm loving the outtakes. So, I have to ask, what do you do with all of these clubs, hammers and Axes you make? Is there a top secret stash somewhere? An armory, if you will.
Also, the rewinds in this video were a lot of fun to watch.
Cheers mate, I actually sell everything i make and use it to fund the channel
Love it. Personally might use a pipe as the handle. I would be stronger and could be made a little longer for 2 handed capability. I really want to make one now.
I opted for the wood as it feels better in use but yeh the steel pipe will work but I wouldn’t consider it stronger than wood myself for this job.
This one is two handed so the measurement will cross over nicely.
Think of the reverberation with using metal.
@@richardpatterson4312 Dude. It wouldn't be for hitting metal or baseballs, its for crushing flesh and bone. Assuming there is a zombie outbreak ofcourse. Upgrade it with leather strip grip.
@@mikedalton268 There would still be reverberation. Do you realize how hard a human skull is or human bones actually are. Wood is better, in my opinion than metal for a handle. Otherwise why don't they use metal all the time for blunt instruments. Won't rust, properly sealed it will last decades, plus if it breaks oh well it's easy to attach the head to a random hardwood stick. Axes use fiberglass or wooden handles, sledgehammers the same. Unless you have good thick leather wrapping cord it will be less comfortable then the wood period.
@@Aliyah_666 I can see that reverberation could be a problem. My biggest concern with the wood is it only appears to be threaded into the head about 5/8 -3/4" max. To me thats a little shallow cosidering the extra weight he added. Sledges and axe handles penetrate through. The threading might tear/break depending on the wood. I wouldnt worry about rust either. Id probably only last about ten to fifteen minutes before i was exhausted and be overwhelemed by the zombies anyways. Either way 'Swing away Merril!"
Every good barbarian needs a club
Most certainly mate
The outtakes are my favorite bit. 😂😂😂
Hahahahaha ill keep putting them in when I have them.
Now that was a fantastic video, even had more veggies! :) Really enjoyed you beating and batting them, that smile on your face says it all, perfect. Love the editing, it worked really well, thanks.
Wicked mate, so glad to hear that especially as I tried a few different things with filming and editing on this build.
@@DiesInEveryFilm Well you tried and succeeded!
Means a lot to hear mate
I have an old snow shovel handle in my basement that's probably 1" diameter by 30" or maybe even more. Now I know what t do with it. 👍 Scaling it up from 3/4" to 1" would add some weight to it. Filling it with smaller birdshot, like No. 9, which packs more densely would give it an even higher weight.
Do it man
My oh my. Well, I have a one inch 6 way with plugs and I'm considering it. Would be heavy as hell. Nice build!
That’s the ticket dude
@@DiesInEveryFilm It was a 1 1/4" 6 way. I just finished it and I'm afraid to weigh it. Monster Conan flail. Love the idea, thanks.
@@sksupply spot on mate, if you are on my Facebook group then please share pictures.
That thing looks brutal! Really like your agressive style when filming😎👍
Cheers dude, got to have fun
BEAUTIFUL, I'M GETTING GOOSEBUMPS
Oh wow, thanks mate
That's a pretty sweet trench club. I wonder if you lengthened the handle to 36" fit double threaded bolts into each hole and attached those 3 inch spiked lugs you see on semi trucks to the exposed threaded end you would have yourself a bada$$ war hammer.
Thank you, unfortunately not something that’s available to me here but ill definitely be building more from this stuff
I have a ton of high priced weapons, but my most durable weapon has got to be my homenade mace. It's basically a steel bar with the gear from a 3 ton chain hoist welded to it. It's indestructible. I used a mig welder and turned into one solid piece of steel. It won't break. It crushes anything in front of it.
That is excellent! Keep up the good work brother!
Thanks very much mate. I really appreciate the support.
@@DiesInEveryFilm sure thing brother! Keep up the awesome work 👊🏼👊🏼
Most certainly mate
The best testing on the internet!!!!!
Hahahahaha cheers buddy
Brutal. Grab object hit things it’s that simple and super effective
Absolutely awesome video, happy to see you fed the local rabbits 🐇🐰
Cheers mate, some happy animals this time round
Sorry I am late but I am here 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️
Nah you aren’t late at all, thank you
Best use of rabbit food to date.
Definitely
Brilliant mate! Cool idea with some random parts! And the bloopers might even be better😂
Cheers Timo, hahahahaha ill definitely be putting them in when I have them.
I like the Dead Pool theme. 😎👍
Thanks mate, plenty more of that to come
That's the best food processor I've ever seen! Great job 👍
Hahahahaha cheers mate
Thanks for including the parts list.
Good vid, as always.
Thank you, got another simple tool build coming soon
Deserves way more likes
Thanks mate I appreciate that.
Coolest juice press i ever seen..
Yeh
Nice weapon brother, I made the same from your video, thanks, but I made handle from metal pipe.
Thank you for watching
Ill be honest, I didn't think the way the head attached to the handle was going to be strong enough, I can't even explain why. However you proved me wrong and I must have a go at making one too.
Fixed like hammer’s pretty much. Thanks
Dude! I’ve been wanting to make my own trench mace…..you gave me the perfect idea!
Perfect mate, got more basic tool builds to come.
Great idea.It loos effective.
Thanks mate, really fun build.
Simple, brutal, beautiful.
Good job
Thanks a lot mate
The mace of the post-apocalypse.Very cool man.
For sure man thanks very much
What a beautiful mace. I'll now certainly try to make my own
Cheers mate, got more basic tool builds coming
bonk
Hahahahaha oh yes
Awesome video my Friend ! Nothing better than true master craft and a touch of humor 🤘🤘🤘🍻 cheers mate ! ✌
Thank you for watching, lots more videos coming soon.
@@DiesInEveryFilm can't wait my Friend !!! Im a big fan of your work ! 🤝🍻 from AMERICA !
So good to know mate I really appreciate it
Fun.
Looks like you're a knuckle head....like myself. Hello from San Diego California
Always fun making this stuff. Thanks
I've been working out with big sledgehammers... Kinda want the Super Mutant Behemoth Fire Hydrant Trench Club...
Get one made
Gallagher would be impressed. Maybe a fish pie would be perfect
Whats gallagher?
@@DiesInEveryFilm he's a really awesome comedian from the that used a sledge hammer to smash watermelon etc.... Look him up on you tube he was an all time great
I tried my hand at this one, turned out pretty well. I changed it up a bit.
Good stuff mate, lots of possibilities with it
Therapist: So, when did you start hating fruits and vegetables?? lol
Me: it started at birth.
Thanks
Perfect apocalypse mace
Thank you very much
😂🤣😂🤣….. awesome job! Need to do a video of outtakes and project mishaps. Well, the mishaps might be tough since your work is always so great!
Unfortunately the outtakes video don’t perform well so I just stick what i get at the end, thanks man
A lot of extra work went in the making of this device.
No extra work at all it was nice and simple, ill be doing a more complex build of one soon
@@DiesInEveryFilm I was referring to the cleaning of the metal, the thread locking glue, the filling with ball bearings, the butt cap, the lanyard, and the sanding of the wood.
You did a beautiful job, but I could imagine under war time conditions, all the refinements would be omitted.
Thanks for a great video!
I think you misunderstand the video here, it’s me in modern times making a trench club from modern readily available parts, im not saying this is how they did it im just doing it my way.
@@DiesInEveryFilm I get it. I think it's ingenious. I was thinking though, if you had to build it with no tools or if you had to make a million of these, you would take the rusty metal, screw the parts together, shove a stick on it and done!
I can appreciate all the extra steps you took to make this.
Well if you look at how they made them in war you will see exactly what they did but then we could pose numerous different situations and materials that would or wouldn’t work in countless situations.
DUDE🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This is the funniest video on RUclips today 👍👍
Love the outtakes or bloopers whatever ya wanna call em
Fantastic really like all your videos the humor plus Deadpool rocks
So glad to hear mate, thank you. More to come
Awesome! I kept thinking of a larger one, using a short piece/nipple instead of the plugs and then 90 degree fittings with a small length up to another 90 fitting and 6 way fitting end... if my bad description makes since lol.
Give it a go mate
That cabbage never had a chance!
Good it’s what they deserve
maces and spears , simple , effective , the best.
Yup thats right
This is a very nice 1!👍👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool video bud, using metal beads as counter weights 💪!!
Thank you, gives it a nice deadblow which is what some trench clubs had.
I predict them a great baseball career
Yup
Simple, effective!!! Evil medieval dead low...DP really looked like he wanted a swing!
Thanks very much for watching mate.
A fitting name for this one might be "The Plumber"
It’s not a plumber tho
@@DiesInEveryFilm I suck with names ;-;
Awesome little kitchen tool. Also a great tool to seriously bash someone's head with repeatedly.
Thank you
Got a notification for this one!
Perfect, hopefully RUclips fixed any problem
Brilliantly entertaining funny but effective like it.
Thanks for watching
Wicked mate... love the fact you filled the head with shot, well smart mate... top job...💯🔥
Cheers mate, needed that extra weight and it made it so much better feel wise
@@DiesInEveryFilm yeah man... I wouldn't of thought of that...🤦♂️😂
Very nice. We’ll done
Thank you for watching
The perfect tool for dealing with vegetables!!
Yup
I need 2 of them in my life
Top job boss amazing build and video
Hahahahaha duel wield for sure
You made like a dead blow hammer, in the form of post apocalyptic club. Reminded me of Borderlands game.
Yeh most clubs were deadblow so i had to put that side in. Thanks
I only come here for the brilliance and wonton destruction
Thanks mate, plenty more coming
All I see is positive comments. So I figured you need some bad ones to share.
What a disgrace to all plumbers who use and can’t find these materials. Also. You should know, once the government takes all of our firearms, those BB’s and food are gonna be needed to feed my family when the children are starving.
Any way, hope you get a lot of likes and your channel grows.
👍
Hahahahaha thank you mate
Another great project. Another one for me to make in my shop and hide in zombie preps. Cheers
Oh definitely
5 strikes Apples...thats a record on trench club baseball
Hahahahaha thank you bud
Gallagher would be proud
Lol
DESTROYER trench club. Loved it. Its cool and killer👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, this was a fun one and I really love smashing stuff with it haha
You're not gonna convince me that those wooden threads aren't just gonna shear off after 2 or 3 of the hardest swings you can land on a human with a helmet or body armor...
As soon as your mate went WHHEEEEYYYY at the end I knew it was a fellow English man's chanel 😂 cheeky little mace finger had me laughing to 😂 spot on vid mate, new sub here.
That face is the face of concern as he was making the object.
I agree.
Felt like id been caught doing rude stuff
Nice job funny way of ending the video
Thank you, trying different things with these
Great video. I am headed down to Home Depot to but the stuff to make one of those right now.
Cheers mate, glad to help
looks like something a plumber might put together while on r&r behind th lines.
Always ready
Simple idea, super destructive 😁. Cheers dude 👍. Loved it. Off to the plumbers centre I go 😂😂😂. 😎
Thanks man, brilliant
Great video bro.. hope you produce more.. Good luck ❤️
Thanks man, lots more to come
Awesome! I could make that
Yeh man, parts list in comments as well
Oh, that’d leave a mark!!!
For sure mate
Nice club mate ! Like it ! Great work!
Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed it.
Hell yeah! I might have a new favorite channel
Perfect mate, lots more to come
Been looking for a 3/4” 6 way cross. Can only find small 1/2” ones locally. Might have to order one.
I think i had to order that online myself tbh, could only get 5 way online
I'll be making one of these, but with the pipe handle.
Two bids a month sounds cool Mr.Pool. More veg smashing to enjoy !!
Cheers man, im going to try to yeh mate juas long as im not too busy.
an absolutely excellent idea! i was wondering however. wouldn't it be stronger to thread the dowel up to the top thread of the 6 way so that two threads are hooked onto the dowel?
Awesome mace bro!
Thanks a lot mate
@@DiesInEveryFilm welcome bro
Great video as always it was fun in addition you made something badass that can be made with basics tool
Appreciated mate, thank you.
now that is 1 hell of a jaw duster 😳
Definitely, thank you
The vegetable killer
Definitely haha cheers mate
It's good to see Gallagher's still doing his thing...
Gallaghers??
That thing is feckin sweet.
Thanks very much mate
Fun video as always, thanks!
Thanks for watching mate
Should have put "Careless Whisper" as background music and bludgeoned a couple of stuffed unicorns lol.
Unfortunately difficult to add certain music due to copyright
@@DiesInEveryFilm Aaahh, yes, I didn't think of that. You could probably argue that you were using it as part of a parody though. I think that might let you get around copyright issues?
It’s the music that’s copyrighted mate so no way round it
@@DiesInEveryFilm are you 100% sure on that? I thought music, like movie clips, fell under "fair use". I'm pretty sure there is a way to use at least pieces of a song without violating copyright law and that at least one component of that under "fair use" is anything that is considered parody and I would imagine you need to make sure to give proper credits to the owner of the music. People do it all the time, actually.
There are videos all over RUclips for lots of songs that people made their own music videos for. For example, there is a video for the song "Arsonist's Lullaby" by Hozier that is made up entirely of clips from the Punisher series on Netflix. Both of those things are copyrighted but that video has never been taken down.
Maybe I'm wrong or maybe it's just more complicated than I understand, which is entirely possible. I've never made a RUclips video before. But there HAS to be a way to use at least clips of music under "fair use" without having your video removed, otherwise there are TONS of videos on RUclips that should have been taken down years and years ago for copyright violation.
I mean, it's not a big deal, I'm just saying maybe you should check into it a little deeper, maybe see how other RUclipsrs are able to use music in their videos? I don't know. I'm not an expert on the subject by any means.
Fair use covers video not music and yeh the video stays up but the money earned from the video goes to the copyright holder.
SO MUCH WIN 🤘😁
Another (squash) killer video 😆
You ROCK 👏
You know it dude, thank you
Stain it blood 🩸 red. Intimidating, looks like a light saber, looks like a fire hidrent, looks bada$$
Cheers mate
It's great, but would be better with a Hello Kitty sticker on it.
Each to their own
