More deluge videos please.
Sincerely, the deluge community.
There’s this unsettling, but so good, feeling of slight off-kilter/detune that makes this performance feel real, resonant. I’m here for it. Great display of how the Deluge flows and the dynamic building approach it provides. Nice work, Jeremy!
Very well done!
I like the 'beat from scratch' format.
More Deluge content pls! (;
DONT WANNA LISTEN TO DELUGE WITHOUT ANALOG HEAT ANYMORE! That combo was gorgeous!
What do you mean by analog heat ? does the deluge have analog synths?
@@cui.cui.the analog heat is an elektron device used for effects processing! Hes got it in some other videos with the deluge, a beast of a combo
I love the from scratch videos of the deluge🙏🏽🖤🙏🏽
These videos are so full of small tricks. I absolutely love them and would pay to see more
This music made my evening better and helped me chill after a stressful work day, so that's fantastic. Thanks for giving me some deluge inspiration as well!
100% was not tired of hearing it.
Awesome as always!
FWIW, would dig seeing how you go from Deluge to DAW - kinda like you’ve done with OP-1 videos.
Fantastic work, awesome demo, I just got into bed to go to sleep, listened to this and I feel fantastic... Thank you ❤️🙏🏻
I'm really glad you are doing more deluge content. I but one a few months ago and I love seeing your workflow on it!
Deluge is alive and well on the RMR channel! YAASSSS
Just ordered one myself. Would love to see more videos of beats from scratch. Entertaining and great to see your work flow.
The very first sound you put into it, that droning sound, totally gives me Silent Hill vibes. I dig it.
I love this, really shows the complexity and thought of a seasoned producer. Learn some great tips and picked up on quite a few of your sound choices from viewing this. Please do more like this in the future. Especially of melodic. deep and tech house.
The performance really shows off what this thing can do in a real world scenario, more in some ways than the beat building section. Very good, thanks!
You're very good at what you do.
Great video, I love the look that the Deluge has.
Great stuff Jeremy. I have a pre-owned Deluge on the way as of a couple of hours ago. It should be here in a few days. I'm very excited so work with it. Thanks for an a e track. Cheers. Lee
My fav song of yours in the making!
This is so sick
Great job! I especially like the percussions and the pumping chord pad. Bravo!
Watching you break it down makes it seem like I could eventually wrap my head around this kind of music making
Real nice :) Cool to see someone else's workflow with the deluge, thanks for doing these from scratch videos!
This is my favorite series.
Really powerful tool, literally a daw!!!
Yeh mate more than that its also a sampler, looper and groovebox + daw
Such an amazing piece of gear. But I already have a box full of gear that I barely touch.
Give it to me lol
Loving the deluge content. Keep'em coming!
I've been making music in Dreams on playstation 4 and the process kind of reminds me of this, still learning all the tools and how to adjust things like sidechain etc but I've made two decent songs so far, the last one which I called Cognitive Feint (on my channel if anyone's curious) is one I spent the most time working on. Love your channel man I learn a lot from you
I have never owned a groove box, had a daw, or have even played a drum machine. I've always been just a synth and bass kinda guy but God this instrument is beautiful. It's like everything I've ever been curious in getting into, all in one. Definitely going to save up for one of these.
Love that House
Jeromy is a monster. Others on RUclips (else where) do NOT compare. He is extremely talented.
Damn you're really talented. Good job dude keep it going!
Any chance you could do some more of these Beats From Scratch with the Deluge? It's a bit of a monster and you have a talent for cutting through the noise and actually producing something.
Hey! I am sure, you already know, but you can access the Envelopes without menudiving. Their direct access is in Column 9 and 10. And thanks for the Deluge videos. I have learned, that you can Access HPF and EQ by just Clicking the top knob. Didn't know that, and always activated it with their pads before! Yay, learning something know on that machine everytime I watch a video someone really using it!
This thing is nice
oh god, so goood.... i need more from the deep house department. Gimme GIMMME. Nice work!!!!
these are the kinds of videos that makes me wanna splurge my money on equipment i don't even understand but thanks to your finesse there goes my money and here comes hours of music making. hAHA love your videos super inspiring!!
This guy makes better music with a box with buttons. I can't even make good music on my computer
computers suck!
Which, to be honest, is a box of buttons also.
That's the power of hardware. It's an instrument. A computer DAW is a sterile, uninspiring environment for music production.
@@RUclipsSupportTeams not true, stop projecting, I've never been as inspired and productive as i am now and its all thanks to bitwig running on my computer, which does have a maschine jam and a m32 hooked up to it.
Point being, its not so much the tools rather than it is the one who uses them.
@@va941 so why are you watching a hardware groovebox video? 🤦♂️ you stick to bitwig and a mouse then 👍
Great video. Very instructive. Love your workflow on Deluge.
that deep
set at the end is so live!!! BRUHHHHH can you doo the deepest house cutz like that? for 90 minutes straight? SKRAIGHT LIVE YO ....love it
Great vid as always 👍
Would you ever consider doing a sound design vid on the deluge synth?
Would be very interesting to see your aproach to building the sound
that's a great idea
Yeah, gonna have to rename my Deluge to Jeremy.
Would very much like more of this. Keep it up
I like this as a series. Thanks.
I need one! That tune was amazing ❤️❤️
Brilliant. I love that you've been getting back to the deluge lately, cause I ordered mine 10th April but still don't have it due to Covid. Your videos are like a fix 😆
Thx Jeremy. Damn you make it look so easy to build a track ^^. Where do you get your samples ?
amazing how you manage to get all your sweet spots" so fast....I need to work harder on my theory. I end up with something different than intended lol Well done.
You uploaded it! Nice work mate
Clean as hell
Cool beat Jeremy
If the Deluge had multiple outs as an option in future units (or even via a usb dongle for the current unit) it could be my one stop shop. Kinda like my old SU700 and a3000 had the SCSI board option which gave 6 extra outs plus SPDIF. 👍
Looks like you really do be vibin at the end there. :)
Not long purchased a Deluge…it’s an unreal piece of technical mastery art tool. Great video thanks 🙏🏻 ✌🏻🤓BRILLIANT!!!!
Great video and awesome beat. I really really need to spend a lot more time with my deluge. It does so much but I get so lost lol
100% in the same boat. I love the device and it’s amazingly capable, but it’s easy to get lost until you really memorize your way around.
Brilliant as always!
Nice! Would love a sample folder of your perc sounds you were cycling through
Check out poetica from samplified
goddamn really good deep house right there. makes me wanna drop a couple of tabs looooool!
I have no idea how you entered anything into those tracks or what any of the buttons do but, for what appeared to be a two bar loop, it sounded awesome.
I would love to see a "from scratch“ beat on the OP-1 with exact this kind of house Music! :)
actually planned on doing a house track next on the op-1
Red Means Recording Niice :)
This has a moby feel
Hi Jeremy! I would like to hear your opinion, as you have experience with a lot of grooveboxes. I know each one has its benefits; but which do you prefer for a portable, battery powerd, music making device: the OP-1 or the deluge? And which one do you prefer as a main studio sampler and brain: the octatrack or the deluge?
I won't lie...that whole piece of gear looks con fu sing! BUT, always impressive to watch you navigate it like its nothin. =P
agree....I cant figure out if the machine is suitable for live performance...and the nature of the interface , like the buttons look too small for my knob finger tips. however, he seems to move around it effortlessly(?)...just my impression.
check the video description for a full live set i did with.
on the contrary! this DAW in a box is very intuitive and once you get to know it (which doesnt take too long) it opens a whole new world!! i love this machine and it is a part of my liveset as well (check it out if you'd like, it is on Berlin House Music's channel) :)
Jeremy is just the Deluge master :3
I’ve had mine for about a year, there’s definitely a learning curve but one you memorize the shortcuts it’s pretty quick to navigate. 100% suitable for live performance. I love it and I have yet to fully unlock its true potential.
Jeremy, any chance of you making some synth packs for the Deludge? The preinstalled ones are pretty lit and I loved the ones you did for the circuit!
That's a great idea
Those textural percussion bits are lovely! Where can I find / how can I make such samples? Wonderful work, as always
samplified.us/ is where a lot of this stuff comes from, as well as 99sounds.org/
Love the demo. What kinds of sound packs did you load? Or are these preloadedsounds?
Lots from Samplified
yay, red table!
This is an unhateable video
I know there's a video on here and I cannot seem to find it. I am wanting to connect the Keystep and the EC4 (because of you). 🙃. Can you please tell me or refer me to a video that shows how to hook up multiple controllers? Or, is a usb with multiple plugs what I need by plugging it into the deluge and the controllers into it? I'm a newbie and trying to learn this part of it. Much love and thanks for all the vids!
I have no idea whats happening but I like it
This is crazy good, any edit without the work part?
amazing!
Who can dislike Geremy's videos? Please, guys
Just got my Deluge and completed my first song. Check it out:
ruclips.net/video/uuT-D-nzgPA/видео.html
Looks as amazing as it does confusing. Seems like there would be quite a learning curve. Nice piece of machinery nevertheless.
Nice, bro. What sound pack are you using? Awesome
samplified.us/
Really curious, did you load add any custom presets or samples to your Deluge ?
Awesome! Do you use any particular sample pack for the beat?
a lot of stuff from samplified.us/
Question to those who have or can tell me where to look.
How easy is it to set up a vocal loop with this? It seems perfect. But haven’t found the video with loops yet.
I’ll need to loop guitar from a Kemper and vocals from the mic.
I’m a super noob. What exactly is sidechaining?
When one signal makes a processor kick in. Usually used with a kick drum feeding a compressor so the other signal going to the compressor ducks whenever the kick hits.
Where are all the cool samples from?
nice! are these onboard factory sounds and samples?
No
Right then, I've just ordered a Deluge and it's all your fault 🤣😂!
It looks like it's any number of OP-Zs, a few OP-1s and Ableton all thrown into a single box. This looks to be just how a want to do my workflow.
heck yeah
Best way to build a sample library?
search for "free samples" on google and download like crazy.
I've got some of the same samples as you. Won't you hear my call... Im sick of that one hearing its constant call 😂
love it except the tuning of the bass...sound lil bit off for me..thx for sharing dude
it's actually the pads that are a bit out of tune, makes everything else seem off
everything in this track is out of tune in this video, haha. i fixed it for the live performance.
@@RedMeansRecording oh i see, makes sense
I was like, whaaaat, is he not gonna tune the main pad sample? 🤯😂
braain
Have you ever made a set on the monome? I watch Daedalus with it, and it makes no sense.
i dont have one, but the monome is just a midi controller. it's not really doing anything except triggering things in interesting ways.
It's absurd!
Are those stock samples?
I keep trying to not dislike the Deluge and I keep failing.
What keeps putting you off?
Yeah why
im ver curious what RTX audio from nvidia can do with music so if you have on of those graphics cards i'd be interested to see what it can help with
GTA Vibes
nice demo but the bass is not tuned correctly (just my 2 cent)
eeeeeeuuuuu mommyy
deep house you say??????
For the peeps that are Dyslexic, this is not a Darude Sandstorm remake.
lol
Feat. Kermit the frog
Could you kindly move those interesting videos to another channel? I keep coming here looking for some music to study to, but getting lost in those educational videos
no?
Jeremy get an Akai Force already. At it's current price its a steal and you'd do wonders with it
i dont have a job and i cant spend money
@@RedMeansRecording I saw this and signed up for your patreon. If anything I'm working too much during the quarantine, and your videos are really helping me get through a hard time. Thanks and keep being awesome.
