Thanks! In this video, I synced only volca beats with ableton using a midi usb cable. And I recorded the microkorg into the ableton via an audio card. I achieved the effect of looping on the microkorg by using the session view mode.
Thanks! It's very simple: you need to use a midi cable, turn it into a "midi thru" on the microkorg, and connect it to "midi in" on the volca. I wish you success in your work!
This is pretty nice ! I have a live session on ableton and I play a microkorg syncronized with midiclock external(ableton) then i got this volca beats and i tried to sync trought midi out from my microkorg syncronized and its not working. Only works my volca sync via midi directly from my audio surface or syncronized with my microkorg with midi clock internal. Do you have two midi out from your audio interface? Do you have any recomendation? Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback! My experience is this: I used a midi cable to synchronize microkorg and vocal beats, on microkorg I used the "midi thru" output, and on volca beats the only midi input. It's very strange that you couldn't sync these two devices. You can also try using a cable: USB-midi and sync ableton and all your devices this way. I wish you success)
In different cases, in different ways: if you want to use a midi track to play on this synthesizer, then you need to connect it using a midi cord (midi usb), and if you want to record this synthesizer in a daw, then of course you need to use an external sound card
Hi, thank you for your feedback! My configuration is as follows: I connected the m-audio sound card to the macbook and connected microkorg and volca beats to the sound card. In ableton live, I chose two different inputs to two different tracks and used session view for looping.
Yes, of course: korg volca beats and microkorg are connected to the m-audio sound card, there is also a usb-midi cable from the computer to korg volca beats to synchronize the tempo, in ableton live the "session" mode is selected, microkorg is written to the session and a loop is made. I hope I explained everything clearly)

Nostaligic feelings❤
It's such a beautiful jam btw, I love this!
Thank you very much!!
Awesome Jam! Do you have the Microkorg tempo synced to the Beats? I have a MicroKorg and Volca drum but not sure how to sync the tempo on the two.

Yes, this is a standard preset in the microkorg

are using ableton live looping?
yes, absolutely right
What is he using to loop the microkorg?
Hi! To loop the microkorg I use ableton live session view
Get yourself a cowbell and a microphone and you'll really have something.
Clave > cowbell

am I listening drake's voice over that beat?
maybe:)
How good is the Korg for baselines? Considering grabbing this as my first synth
I think this synthesizer can be used for different purposes: as a lead instrument, arpeggio and bass
