I know that my woman is a real one for real. When I had a break down and tried to kill myself by throwing myself off a cliff she was the one who rugby tackled and pinned me with an ungodly strength that she has never shown since. She held me down and worked when I couldn't. I know I am very blessed with rarest of gems, and I got no idea wtf I did to earn/deserve this 😂😂😂😂

There are 3 versions of this song, the original one who expresses a man in general, the mega remix Collab with other singers from their personal perspectives and experiences, and the remix one with Darius Rucker more on father and son relationship. I guess in my case I just got the men at the finish line that were broken. I have spent my life between men who didn't want to be put back together.

This song hits me so hard back in February of 2020 i suffered a traumatic brain injury at work I lost consciousness and fell on my face i cracked my skull in over 12 places i had 4 seizures waiting for the ambulance and then 4 more in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and the doctor put me in a medically induced coma. When I woke up im completely deaf in my left ear and i lost my job because i keep having seizures and the doctor can't find any answers so i can't qualify for social security disability and then my wife of 18 years and my step daughter and her boyfriend all 3 decided to try and beat me up and kicked me out of my house on my birthday and its been a struggle to survive all because i had a medical emergency and couldn't provide anymore. Ive been contemplating suicide and i have completely lost my way everything i was fighting for gave up on me

I am a woman and I agree with you both. I can say it takes a real woman to stand behind her man and listen to him and know he is just like us and my husband is a soldier so fuck turning my back on him.

If you all liked this check out the mega remix. I know the Darius remix one is gonna be bigger cause of his name but the mega remix with all of other artists Dax did before the Darius Rucker one is the full picture of this song realized.
It's true though. Mens mental health isn't looked at enough. It's not a shock that the suicide rates are at an all time high. Both genders are human and we think differently from birth.

You are probably right. Most women are like that. Emotionally/ mentally stronger women know better. My grandmother and mother were my examples. Partners is what it should be. As a female partner my job is to support just as much as it is my man’s partner to support me.

I tried to talk to my wife about what I deal with all of the time. She is supportive but does not understand and I feel will never understand because women are emotional and my emotional problems are due to masculine responsibilities.
Telling a woman your problems is the absolute worst advice. 😂 They will just weaponize anything you tell them and decide you're less of a man for "being emotional"

That's not true. I am a woman, and I feel a sense of appreciation. This song reminds me that I have to show my husband he is loved, he is appreciated, and if he falters, I will be here to keep him steady on his feet. Don't cast all women together, you are just regurgitating the same toxicity that is pulling men and women apart. On both sides.

Firstly, I don't think this song is a 'cry' for pity. I have done my part in this story... as a father, grandfather and husband. Completed my marriage vows and still completing my obligations as a man. Would it hurt society so much to show some appreciation to the hard working men who keep going.... no matter what? All I see is disrespect and condemnation from an ungrateful society.
