My house burned down in January. My son and dad were home sleeping and My rabbit felt the danger and woke up My son with his thumping. She saved My family's life.
My friend was eating a banana in the kitchen and my bun was on his hind legs sniffing around. He ran to the living room started thumping, came back looking for the tasty treat.
I used to feed my rabbit fruit and parsley all the time, she was so tame. she ate out my hands and would lick me often. I used to hold her in my bed and let her fall asleep on me on a cold morning. You would have loved that little bunny. She was tame and affectionate with me. She also once jumped up when I was crying to lick all the tears off my face and it made me laugh. I have many good memories of that little rabbit, she lives on in the memories. When she was dying we were there to care for her to the very end. I came home from school to find out she was dead, but I already knew and I could feel she went to a better place so I didn't cry. I know she would want me to be happy, not sad so I accepted her death quietly. RIP
Mine doesn't thump unless he is demanding his treats 😂 my others don't do it unless my other male sees my other one. I bring him outside to see his girls.
I just rescued a bonded pair of bunnies and my goodness these chunkers are trouble makers due to their bad habits developed out of bordom. They are only 1 years old and theyve had at least 5 owners. My boyfriend and i both agree no matter what happens theyre staying with us forever.
It's a learning curve getting used to their destruction lol. I would recommend buying them chew toys and hay cubes. My rabbit was super destructive when she was younger. She's 2.5 yrs old now and has calmed down a lot.
Our bunny ( Honey) always would be annoyed with me. She only tolerated me when she wasn’t feeling well because she knew I was the mom and would always take care of her. She was in love with my son and he was her mate to the end. Today after loving her for 12yrs and three months she crossed over. It’s still fresh for us. She crossed over in my arms. I feel honored that she trusted me. I will forever miss that sassy girl. RIP Honey. Until we meet again.
one of my bunnies has a lump on its face. I've taken him to the vet and they said there's nothing they can do for him, and he's getting really skinny and we might have to put him down soon. he's such a sweet bunny. he's on pain meds but I don't think we can just get a continuous supply of it, so keep him in your bunny prayers. idk what his bunny mate will do without him, they are very close. :(
I am so sorry friend. Have you tried getting a second opinion? I will pray for his health tonight! And even if he does not make it,he lived a life with you and not in a meat factory or in a box on the rainy streets. God bless you and him! I hope he will be okay!
Whatever happens, I wish your bun bun well, and I wish for there to be no pain for you and him. Also I hope his mate handles it well. I've had a situation very similar to this one, a couple months ago my bun Cleo passed and her sister was heartbroken, I was too, but we were there for each other, and we're both okay now. I just hope you do well and that your bunny passes undisturbed and peacefully, and if he does live I'll pray for him to recover. Whichever way, I wish you and your buns to be all right ❤❤❤
Our bunny would regularly thump whenever she would run laps around our guest room bed. She did is so consistently (at the start of every lap, every single time, for years) that we just had to conclude this particular thumping was a sign of joy or excitement! These laps around the room would usually incorporate binkies, so it just didn't fit that she was afraid, or warning us, or irritated about something.
I live in an apt and my 6 lbs rabbit, when he thumps, is so loud, I've had the neighbor downstairs call me to see it I'm ok as if I fell. It will wake you up from a deep sleep, especially if he thumps on a hard surface.
Another interesting video Lorelei!! I noticed our bunny tends to thump when he's annoyed. When he goes underneath one of our beds and we try to get him to come out. He thumps because he doesn't want to leave. We have to be more patient with letting him explore then he will come out on his own.
I wouldn’t be so knowledgeable if it wasn’t for this channel! Mr Waffles has been thumping quite a lot this past week… with that said Monday is neuter day. He is so hormonal he can’t even seem to be himself. We believe he is frustrated from trying to mount my daughter and I. He’s also been lunging at my husband and bit my oldest daughter. We are hoping that once he neutered and the hormones die down he can be his happy loving self again.
Simon has definitely thumped because he's been spooked in the middle of the night, but also because he hasn't gotten his breakfast on time! One of my favs though is when he had a vet stay, and all the techs were giving him so much attention. Well, a new bun comes in and they were crowded around and petting her, right in front of Simon's cage. I guess he stomped really loud and glared at them 😂
I only recall my rabbit thumping 2ice ever. Usually she was extremely tame and loving. She once winded my sister thumping but I don't think she did it often. She used to let me stroke her face and neck and she used to sleep on me in my bed. I used to feed her dandelion leaves and fruit out my hands. She would flop on me sometimes, she licked my a lot. She was so cute, she never bit me. She was my best friend growing up. Sometimes I would put her under my coat and have her her sticking out the top of it with me holding her. She used to trust me. When she died I could feel she was loved and felt loved, RIP you little angel!
My bunny likes to go behind the couches and I never let her. I always block them off. I don’t want her back there chewing wires or getting hurt. And every time she manages to escape and get back there before I can stop her, the minute she gets back there, she thumps as if to tell me ha ha I’m back here now and you can’t stop me! 😂
Hey lorelei! I just wanted to make an appreciation comment here because i have been taught by you and lennon a lot! I am in the process of moving, but i plan on getting a bunny in the near future! Because of you i am heavily educated and aware of everything i need to be! I love the content you work so hard on and i get super excited when you post. I hope you get to see just how much joy you have brought me through this post!
Omg when we clean their room and move things around. They get so upset. I free roam 3 bunnies that have stolen our hearts. Thanks to this channel I have learned soooo much and have been able to educate other owners. My husband and I are both in our early 50, but these angels bring out the kids in us. Thank you for all you do for the bunny community!
Years ago, when I had two rabbits (sisters) I was sitting quietly at my computer one evening, when a more energetic than usual earthquake hit. The building shook and my monitor was waving so wildly that I grabbed it - and sat at my desk contemplating an 'under the bed dive'. From the living room came a syncopated series of thumps. Each rabbit's thump was distinguishable from that of her sister, and each was thumping at a different rate. It was an interesting effect - it went on for half an hour. I tried reassuring them, I tried convincing them that is was NOT my doing ... to no avail. They kept it up until they calmed down. (Or maybe they just got tired.)
some earthquake vibrations humans can't detect but animals that rely on vibration such as snakes or rabbits can. They can start as much as a minute before the actual quake hits. And they could have kept going. think of a tuning fork. the ground may have been solid and quiet to you, but it definately wasn't to them!
HAHAHA! Totoro will ONLY thump when I deep clean his "kingdom." He's a brat and just wants things to not be moved or touched. He doesn't really thump about anything else... Rabbits are just such cool critters!
My dwarf bunny thumps when shes in my bedroom. She thumps under my bed somtimes, she will also thump randomly when we are playing 😅🥰 I made up a game to play with her so she knows the rules and gets mad at me when i don't do the game right 😂🤣
My little Alfred thumped when I had moved his travelling cage into the living room and he hadn’t seen me doing that. I ran over and petted him, and then he licked me in the face for the first time 🥹 it was about two weeks after he moved in with me (or I moved in with him? 🤔). He is never ever in a cage unless he’s travelling 🥰
Yes, we got a new mattress, and the sheets were a little tight. So, I was knocking around a bit, trying to fit the sheets on. Little sister was in the living room with my husband, and he said she started thumping and looking around wildly. I comforted her and calmed her down, but I think she thought that I was thumping while making the bed.
My Miss Bun used to thump at me after nail trimmings, she was a very sassy girl 😅 I remember watching your videos when I got her years back! After her passing I have two sweet youngsters who are so quiet in comparison 😂
My bunnies will most often thump when it is mealtime and I want them to go into the pen for breakfast or dinner. It is usually when one made it to the pen and is eating before the other. I get a thump from the "late" one and then a scurry into the pen. The word you used "annoyed" is what they are telling me. 🐇
Rosy loves to thump at me I tell her go to bed she thumps I tell her no treat she thumps again it's to hillarious 😂 When I tell her shut up I'm tired she continues to thumps her head off so I have to cuddle her😂
I used to think bunnies thump because they were annoyed with something you were doing or something around them, now I know it's because they're warning others of potential danger. My bunny that I had 7 years ago I named him Thumper because he always thumped at me and I didn't know why at that time, So I named him THumper lol I know different now . I feel I'd be a better bunny owner these days than I was 7 years ago.
My T'Challa thumps if he hears metal clinking together. He's rarely done it for keys, but every single time he hears coins tapping together more than once or twice, he'll thump. I first diagnosed it when I was rolling quarters for the laundromat. I thought it was the smell from the coins at first, but later realized it was the sound.
soooooo creepy story. Rabbits are highly intuitive. Everytime I talk about something spiritual or conspiracy theories subjects like the Illuminati my rabbit WILL THUMP. He picks up on negativity really easily and will express his dislike.
Learn your rabbit's thumps. Yes there is a difference in the tone to their thumps. My late Randell was a classic, it will go from anything from happy playful; thump, to a danger thump from noises that don't sound right, eg someone or something sneaking around the house. Now I have Pixie who I adopted, she doesn't do much of the happy playful thumping, but when she hears sounds from outside around the house, then she warns me. Both of them wouldn't stop thumping until I got up to look at the danger they were thumping about. With both of them there were some uninvited people sneaking around the house. Fantastic silent alarm. Again it does pay to learn the tones of your rabbits thumps, and their actions when they do it.
My Buddy used to HATE any touching of his little paws or hind feet. This made grooming day a bit of a problem. He surprisingly sat still (But only while being held comfortably.) but once we were done and put him back down, he'd thump once in protest and went to hide in his enclosure. He always got his favorite once-in-a-while treat of a strawberry or bit of banana, but he'd sulk until dinnertime after that ^_^0 This was really the only time he'd thump. The little guy wasn't afraid of anything, even fireworks! I don't think I'm ever going to find another brave bunny like him...
My Bun thumps if I’m late with his breakfast, so I make sure to be punctual now. He thumps when the dishwasher is on, so I only use it occasionally. And he’ll thump if I haven’t given him a treat after breakfast. He’s my first Bun and I had no idea that some bunnies can be moody. 😅
My rabbit thumps when I dont give her access to a place she wants to go like on or under my bed. Wont let her go out with me out the door or if I don't pet her before I turn out the lights. I did it for 2 months straight so now if I don't she thumps
I have had 2 rescue buns for over a year now. They live in a very large enclosure in my lounge and are completely spoiled (trying to encourage full free roam by leaving the gate open while I'm working from home) but they enjoy their own area where there are layers of rubber flooring, various carpets and rugs. I've tried everything to bond with my 2 but they have been skittish since day 1. I figure it's just that they love each other so much (male and female bonded) that they really don't need me. The male is half wild and the female is a lop. I go into their enclosure several times a day with treats, pellets or greens which they love, but the female lop 9/10 times will thump when I approach. That scares the wildie off as well as she warns him of danger. Honestly.. after over a year of giving unconditional love it's a little heartbreaking to think they still see me as a threat. You mentioned camomile and I'm wondering if anyone has had luck trying to calm their buns nerves. Coz after a year I'd give anything a go.
One of the best channels going. Love it. Makes me happy to listen and watch. They really are one of God's best creatures. Rabbits hear it that's for sure. My bun used to thump to let me know there was danger nearby that I couldn't even detect. I always trusted them. And sometimes they wanted that favorite kind of food like right away. Yep. You're definitely really smart and caring about bunnies. All the best. 😊🐇🐇
When I had my rabbit's, the lead Male rabbit named huevos, thumped to warn me of danger outside. He did that in the middle of the night. It turned out we caught 2 rottweilers and the neighbors going through our yard at 3 am.
I seriously think Lorelei needs to start her own official series of house rabbit makeover kinda like Gordon Ramsay's hotel hell series and it'd be really cool if you officially opend your own rabbit rescue center too, oh and *WE NEED ANOTHER HOUSE RABBIT MAKEOVER EPISODE LORELEI*
I have three bunnies - they usually thump when scared but my newest bunny Hippo (4-5y/o rescue) thumps when the other bunnies won’t groom him. He’s a very social rabbit and will let you know if you aren’t giving him enough attention.
I used to raise domestic and wild baby bunnies, and they all got along well. They thumped but they always got a treat from me and they had their daily exercises. I thank you for making these videos. I learned on my own. My bunnies were also a good support system for me, especially my wild ones❤❤
@@LennonTheBunny hiiii i love your channel so much I have been watching you for years and now I have two bunnies because of you and Lennon!!! Much love
I have a big New Zealand rabbit who is very feisty. She only thumps when a shadow spooks her or if she wants something I'm eating. She will make a big show to push her litterbox away from the wall, sit behind it, and thump. She's perfectly content after she has a treat
Yeah. Before muffin was spayed she used to growl and thump if I stopped petting her. She still thumps just before she jumps on the couch or the bed and she once thumped like crazy because my jacket scared her.
Does Lennon ever grunt? My rabbit, Lulu will ocasionally grunt. This is when she’s really upset, like when I briefly take a favorite toy or structure of hers for cleaning purposes. Its very quiet, but she will look at me & grunt to show her frustration. Is this normal?
Thanks you! I’ve been getting a little irritated that I can’t figure out why my bunny thumps. But it’s really weird bc I’m not doing anything to make her thump and there is nothing scaring her. Whenever she thumps it’s at night. So I just always give her pellets to distract her. So I think she just dose it for food😑❤❤
My bunny thumps quite regularly, though never out of fear or sensing danger but rather to get her way. 😂 "One apple slice is not enough.." *THUMP!* "I demand more!" "Hey! Who told you to stop petting?" *THUMP!!* "I demand petting!"
@lennon the bunny what if I told you that I am trying to expose a RUclips channel for torturing bunnies by throwing them into pools? RUclips doesn't care. He teaches his children to treat them like pool toys.
My rabbit only thumps in morning for breakfast, thumps to come out the pen, and thumps when I don't give her attention 🤣 she's a very big routine attention seeker. Domesticated Female New Zealand rabbit. i have only ever seen her thump mad if I don't let her chew something she shouldn't be like my closet door slats, my dressers, or the less likely one trying to chew my phone charger cuz I'm on my phone around her
I had a lop eared bunny named Moksha once. She could thump 3 hours straight to our neighbours dog barking. I always go to my bunnies and speak to them softly and even cuddle and pet them if they let me but Moksha didn't like pets/hugs when she was in such a state. She didn't like dogs, at all and could keep thumping for hours even after we didn't hear any barking anymore. I had another bunny, Snuffie, she thumped if I wasn't fast enough with giving her food and or treats, she was sassy like that 😁
I have a 5 month old rabbit. When my thumps it just seems random. She just thumps a few times. It doesn't last long. I think she's just experimenting and learning that she can thump and the sound it makes and also I notice she is very cautious and does things and is always observing her environment and what I am doing.
My rabbit Juniper thumps every time my dog goes into the rabbit room. My boy Jasper guards her from the dog. I love them (They are spayed/neutered and in a secure play pen, my dog only goes in supervised)
Hi I love your videos Lorlie they have helped me and my bunny lily soo much she is now freeroamed in my room however she has been digging my bed sheets and biting holes into them and peeing on them she has been spayed recently and is around 7-8 years old so I don’t think it’s the phase where they do that do you have any tips on how to stop them digging and biting sheets or could you pls make a video on it as it would be really helpful
I used to have a rabbit who would thump before she jumped on something high like the couch or my bed. she would also thump in protest if we were eating an apple or banana and didn't share it with her
Me and my mother were talking in the kitchen one morning getting ready for the day. As we were talking, we heard a single thump, we both stopped talking and looked down to see my bunny in the middle of us, just sitting casually like nothing was happening
My girl is afraid of the dark. I had her up in my bedroom as we were doing some minor renovations in her area. She’s always happy in my room, flops and sleeps happily. But when I turned off my light, not even 30 minutes ahead thumped, I turned on a light to check on her, she relaxed and was fine. Turned it off again, and thump thump, so she always has a night light. Then she’s happy as can be.
When it's quiet at home my little girl do this sometimes. No one said something. Sometimes i think, maybe they see something we can't see? Maybe spirits?
My April will only thump me now if she's annoyed 🤣🤣🤣 or wants my attention and I'm not being fast enough for her 🤣🤣. Otherwise she just flicks me off lmao 😂😂
On her last birthday, we prepared a bday party for our Diamond and we placed lots of new toys on her area. In the first 15 minutes, she looked so curious but soon, she started to thump. She looked so angry. I think she didn’t want us to mess up her area with too many things. While she was thumping, she even turned her head to another side to avoid seeing us. Then we tidied up the area and let her calm down. After half an hour, she resumed to normal and approached us again.
When I first got Jigglypuff, my first bunny, Venom, was very curious about him and constantly lying next to his enclosure, but every time I entered the room she would continuously thump until I left. This went on for a week lol.
I comforted him and tried to figure out what was wrong and stop it ❤ like when I got his lead out he started thumping so I assumed that the lead was the problem and he had had a bad experience with it or just didn't like it on him ❤
Hi Lorelei I got my bunny from our humane society on Labor Day. He is a netherland dwarf rabbit and I named him trooper. He keeps chewing on my clothes but he’s let’s me pick him up and pet him because we have started to bond but what should I do about the chewing.
South Africa is becoming more geologically unstable, our rabbits thumped ahead of a mild earthquake quake. They thump when they are concerned about possible intruders. It being Johannesburg it’s quite handy having them alert us. The alert thumps seem to be just a thump. They do thump at each other over stolen treats but there is a slight vocalisation just ahead of it.
My rabbit Zipper thumps when his food bowl is empty. He will also take the bowl in his little mouth and slam it. It doesn’t happen often because I learned to keep his dish filled with hay at all times or face the wrath of the bunny.
I could use some advice-mine thumps to express frustration that she doesn’t have access to where she wants to go within her room. She has her own bedroom, but just the large x pen is fully bunny proofed. Sometimes I have to go to bed or leave house, so she must be in her pen then. And I have things set up to minimize carpet chewing. When she thumps for this reason, does that mean her setup is not working?
My bunny boy regularly thumps when I chase him. He needs his chronical wounds to be taken care of regularly and he hates it. 🤕 Same with my bunny girl, when I chase her because it'S time to get to her play pen, she would thump beause she doesn't want to go in, yet sometimes. She also rarely but sometimes get a thumping episode when she gets spooked by something. She sleeps by herself in a different room, so the shadows can spook her and I have to run downstairs, turn on the lights and calm her down. But that rarely happens.
My rabbit thumps after I do his nails he gets mad at me or if he is annoyed or scared of something I always go and kneel on the floor and talk to him and he calms down after
My house burned down in January. My son and dad were home sleeping and My rabbit felt the danger and woke up My son with his thumping. She saved My family's life.

My bunnies will most often thump when it is mealtime and I want them to go into the pen for breakfast or dinner. It is usually when one made it to the pen and is eating before the other. I get a thump from the "late" one and then a scurry into the pen. The word you used "annoyed" is what they are telling me. 🐇
Rosy loves to thump at me I tell her go to bed she thumps I tell her no treat she thumps again it's to hillarious 😂
When I tell her shut up I'm tired she continues to thumps her head off so I have to cuddle her😂
I used to think bunnies thump because they were annoyed with something you were doing or something around them, now I know it's because they're warning others of potential danger.
My bunny that I had 7 years ago I named him Thumper because he always thumped at me and I didn't know why at that time, So I named him THumper lol
I know different now .
Maurice definitely thumps in protest about grooming. Like, I'm sorry, but you're a lionhead. You gotta be brushed, my son.
Coz after a year I'd give anything a go.
guest smelling like
a dog😂 good one lol 3:04
One of the best channels going. Love it. Makes me happy to listen and watch. They really are one of God's best creatures. Rabbits hear it that's for sure. My bun used to thump to let me know there was danger nearby that I couldn't even detect. I always trusted them. And sometimes they wanted that favorite kind of food like right away. Yep. You're definitely really smart and caring about bunnies. All the best. 😊🐇🐇
Thank you!
My bun usually thumps when she is irrated or when she gets scared when she hear pots clanging or knifes chopping
I love bunnies
My bunny thumped when it was time to go to sleep & he was not having it. Now I know why they made bugs bunny so smart
I'm so glad you made a video of this! Every day at 5am my bun thumps. And it always wakes me up 😂 now I know why he does it.
I used to raise domestic and wild baby bunnies, and they all got along well. They thumped but they always got a treat from me and they had their daily exercises. I thank you for making these videos. I learned on my own. My bunnies were also a good support system for me, especially my wild ones❤❤
Mine thumps out of fear but mostly when hes about to jump on me on my bed and/or zoomies around the room 😂
I've been watching you for over five years when I got my first rabbit!❤
You rock!
@@LennonTheBunny hiiii i love your channel so much I have been watching you for years and now I have two bunnies because of you and Lennon!!! Much love
Our rabbit thumps when we get her a treat, she rans around and thumps if we are taking to long to give to her. 🙄
My bunny almost never thumps but one day she did because she wanted her treats. We cracked up so hard & of course gave her the treat 😂
thankssssss
Does Lennon ever grunt? My rabbit, Lulu will ocasionally grunt. This is when she’s really upset, like when I briefly take a favorite toy or structure of hers for cleaning purposes.
Its very quiet, but she will look at me & grunt to show her frustration. Is this normal?
Got my first bunny from the humane society and they told me to go straight to this channel and i’m so glad i did
Ah, hello! Im early this time! Love you and Lennon sooo much! Ive been watching you guys for over three years now 💕
That’s probably the reason why she thumps. She wakes you up for treats.
Remember their hearing is WAAYYY better than ours and there are all kinds of creatures wandering by outside at night. Creatures you aren't aware of.
My bunny thumps quite regularly, though never out of fear or sensing danger but rather to get her way. 😂
"One apple slice is not enough.." *THUMP!* "I demand more!"
"Hey! Who told you to stop petting?" *THUMP!!* "I demand petting!"
@lennon the bunny what if I told you that I am trying to expose a RUclips channel for torturing bunnies by throwing them into pools? RUclips doesn't care. He teaches his children to treat them like pool toys.
My rabbit always thumps when I try to cut his nails. He doesn’t like it but I have to, however he counters that by making it impossible.
My bunny do it when he wants attention 😅
Om goodness my and my bunny. Are excited to see the vid -elli and sparky
My rabbit only thumps in morning for breakfast, thumps to come out the pen, and thumps when I don't give her attention 🤣 she's a very big routine attention seeker. Domesticated Female New Zealand rabbit. i have only ever seen her thump mad if I don't let her chew something she shouldn't be like my closet door slats, my dressers, or the less likely one trying to chew my phone charger cuz I'm on my phone around her
My rabbit sometimes thumps whenever he’s about to get food
I had a lop eared bunny named Moksha once. She could thump 3 hours straight to our neighbours dog barking. I always go to my bunnies and speak to them softly and even cuddle and pet them if they let me but Moksha didn't like pets/hugs when she was in such a state. She didn't like dogs, at all and could keep thumping for hours even after we didn't hear any barking anymore.
I had another bunny, Snuffie, she thumped if I wasn't fast enough with giving her food and or treats, she was sassy like that 😁
My bun thumps at night when I'm in my room watching TV
I have a 5 month old rabbit. When my thumps it just seems random. She just thumps a few times. It doesn't last long. I think she's just experimenting and learning that she can thump and the sound it makes and also I notice she is very cautious and does things and is always observing her environment and what I am doing.
I love Lennon the Bunny 🐰 🐇 😍 💕!
My rabbit Juniper thumps every time my dog goes into the rabbit room. My boy Jasper guards her from the dog. I love them
(They are spayed/neutered and in a secure play pen, my dog only goes in supervised)
My rabbit has only ever thumped twice ever and she did both in my room and I didn't know why she did it!❤
When i first brought my rabbit in she would thump all the time, now a year later she doesn't thump anymore. What can i do to get her to thump again?
I swear my bunny uses thumps as a starters pistol. He'll thump, then take off doing zooming. In those instances, I think he's happy/excited.
I misunderstood my rabbit for so long. I feel bad. But now I know.
Thank you for making this video because my wrap it was stopping at my new boy one I haven't introduced them to my other female yet
Commenting on all your posts! You have to see our new bunnies:)
I was watching this while my rabbit was thumping, I came to you because I was scared, I didn’t know why he was doing it, so thank you
Sometimes it's how Plum and Caye argue.
Love love love it
My bunny thumps when he is somewhere he shouldn't be, and I go to get him out of there. I am gentle, but he still thumps!😂
South Africa is becoming more geologically unstable, our rabbits thumped ahead of a mild earthquake quake. They thump when they are concerned about possible intruders. It being Johannesburg it’s quite handy having them alert us. The alert thumps seem to be just a thump. They do thump at each other over stolen treats but there is a slight vocalisation just ahead of it.
you're right
In both of my bunnies fair share of thumps there's been a few excited thumps prior to a binky lol
I love youuuuuuu ur my favorite I watch u everyday
My rabbit thumps after I do his nails he gets mad at me or if he is annoyed or scared of something I always go and kneel on the floor and talk to him and he calms down after
When I brush my bunnies they’ll usually thump once. And I tell them “I know, I’m so sorry. You hate that. :( it’s ok.“ and than I give them a treat
If my future bunnies thump I will let them know everything is okay.
My bunny thumps and runs around at treat and feeding time and to warn me someone is at the door!.
I have always wondered! It sure is cute!
