We have 2 cats and 1 bunny. They get along great. While the cats think they own the humans, the rabbit thinks he’s in charge of the cats, it’s kind of hysterical. They are both equally as wonderful and I can’t imagine my life without either. I’m your traditional crazy cat lady, but I’m also a crazy bunny lady, lol.
I have both. I love my girls and they love eachother. They clean eachother and nap together and even play. But I realise not all cats and buns are a perfect match. My bunny is a bit of a bully. But luckily my cat is the sweetest and most patient you could ask for. They have been together now for three years.. 🐇🐈💕
I have both .. I had my Bun for a few months and I found my cat on the beach at 3 weeks old .. we brought her home and she initially thought he was her mommy .. now they love each other ❤
Current bunny owner, but I’ve had more cats than bunnies in the past. I never thought much about their similarities, but agree with you about how close the care is. I like that my bun’s mess is mostly contained to one room compared to a cat being all over the house.
Fantastic video, thank you for sharing this info! 😘 I'm a rabbit person since 2010 when I got my first bunny (a boy). And now I have a bunny girl. 🐇 I would love to see a video Rabbits vs Guinea pigs 😍 Guinea pigs are also so adorable! ❤
I have 3 cats and recently rescued a rabbit and they are pretty similar. The cats have really helped my Bun settle in and get used to being a pet (he was an outdoor hutch rabbit) and they seem to be pretty much the same in terms of playtime and snuggles.
Loved this! Thanks! I have both cats and a rabbit! My cats are indoor/outdoor and I do appreciate that my rabbit is only inside and doesn’t bring home fresh kills to share with the family too. lol
For rabbits papaya and pineapple juice help with ingesting and breaking down hair blockages though so it's a good idea to give them a little bit of fresh pineapple at least once a month.
I love how you approach these videos! It feels very unbiased and informative. I used to be team cat but have since switched to bunny because my husband is severely allergic to cats!
Ive had cats for year's grew up with cats my family used to have a farm and I would tame kittens on that said farm. One pair of kittens had pretty much imprinted on me and when was still a teen would follow me, to the farm house and the tree all in a line. We wore out a path we done it so much. Now my Hubsand convinced me to have a bunny. Ive always been fascinated with Bunnys. To be honest. So husband and I are planning on getting two buns i already have a vet in line when the time comes
My wee Havana Bunny CocoPuff is best friends with my kitty LuluBelle. They adore each other and Lulu demands to go into CocoPuffs private bedroom and dine and snooze with Coco…I will say, Coco is messier than Lulu because she tends to drag her hay around the room on her adorable furry little paws. Both were rescues (I found Coco abandoned in the parking lot of a Dental Office) and Lulu was thrown out of a moving car when she was theee weeks old. They are bonded and so I am I to both of them. Both are a JOY 🤩
I actually know lots of house cats that love walking on a leash like a dog. It depends on their personality but especially cats that used to be strays or are just more outgoing love going outside.
I have cats but have never had a rabbit because it’s at least 2 hours to the nearest rabbit savvy vet. When I live in a place with a rabbit savvy vet, I’d love to adopt one or two! I think the two animals are very similar, too. I’ve had 4 cats in my lifetime and none of them have been very social. The first 2 rarely ventured out to peek at company when people were over, but these 2 I have now generally hide from any strange person! In my mind, they’re very rabbitlike, especially Sadie, who has to have her things arranged a certain way and gets pouty if they are moved. She loves to chew up cardboard boxes. I adopted her at three months but it makes me wonder if she was around rabbits before then to learn these behaviors? Thanks for another great video!
I have only had 3 rabbits, one as a child, and one for each of my children when they were young. They are such sweet animals, but can also be little rascals at times. I've had almost too many cats to count, though being mildly allergic to them. With dogs you have to deal with the barking, hyperness, drooling, walks and smells, which means the battling of bathing. It's nice they can travel well for dog lovers and owners, but that's just not me. When I had rats for a few years, I thought I was more of a rat person. But once I had a cat again, I realized I am really a cat person at heart. I had her for about half of her 23 year long life. Now we have two younger cats. One thing we have noticed about cats, is they absorb good smells. Ours often smell like cake or flowers. Don't know how, they just do.
Its been so interesting - ive had 4 cats across my lifetime and now 4 rabbits - and my house rabbits are so much bolder than any of my cats ever were when strangers came in. My bunnies will run out and sniff their shoes while my cats would have shat themselves and run to another room to hide. Its been so interesting (and people say i must make them feel safe in the space) But otherwise, pretty much agree with the findings from my experience :)
I own both cats and a rabbit and they are great together and best of friends! Both animals are sassy in their own right but on different levels. My rabbit can hold her ground over the cats who think they own all lol, and it's been fun seeing them bond. I agree that cats, and even dogs both cause allergies and I am allergic to both but not severely yet I have no issue with my rabbit. I love how independent both animals are and soooo glad I don't need to walk them.
I do want to note to people thinking about getting bunnies you don't have to change the hay everyday in the letterbox if you get a hay holder its every few days then but the bedding still has to be changed every single day
I'm bunny-sitting my best friend's daughter's bunny while they are overseas. My first experience with a rabbit. I wasn't sure how my cat-hating cat would react to a rabbit but shockingly she just ignores him lol. The rabbit wants my cat to be his friend but she won't entertain him lol. I would say rabbits are a bit more work than cats just because they are a bit messier. I am sweeping more often nowadays he he. But they are less work than a dog so I wouldn't mind having a rabbit in the future. But my friend goes overseas every summer so I think I will be taking care of this rabbit every summer from now.
I'm a new bun mom! Thanks to your video and i have learned a lot. How about hamster vs bunny? Both need exotic vets too and yes they are expensive pets 🙈. I'm a hamster mom too! I don't know, but many people get hamsters without knowing proper care. I hope there'll be one video hamster vs bunny ❤
I have a dog, a cat, and a bunny. My dog is small, but most dogs do get along with bunnies. I would be careful with hunting dogs or other large aggressive dogs. Other than that, just watch them close for a while.
I've had cats & dogs ALL my life. I always thought bunnies lived in a hutch🐰 and just ate & pooped all day. Reallly CUTE boring fur balls. Boy oh BOY was I sooo sooo incredibly wrong!!🙄😳 NOW I'm completely & TOTALLY enchanted! And here comes karma-that bitch! I have 2 precious kitties-3 & 6 yrs old rescue babies from our no kill cat shelter. So...sadly, I won't be in a position to adopt for YEARS....which is kinda breaking my heart 💔 cuz I'm head over heels now for bunnies.🐰💔 But I would NEVER put ANY animal in danger...so that's my penance for being sooo clueless abt bunnies.🐰❤🐇 They are simply DELIGHTFUL!😍💯 Viva la Cinnabun!🐇
I am team rabbit because I work for the SPCA as the small animal coordinator, but I also own cats and rabbits. I have four cats and five rescue bunnies.
I know you mentioned that cats don’t like to leave the house because they are “house cats” but Ive seen a lot cats trying to escape the house through the front door when the owner opens it and sneaks between their legs.
I have had one rooster and two chickens, two cats, and now on my 2nd bunny, but I am close to my mid 40's so had time to have all the animals, my parents were allergic to cats and dogs so we started with chickens XDD. The chickens we had to give up when we lost our house they were about 5years old at the time. Then we went into a rental. Cats were more preferred in a rental than a dog so that's another point for cats, Both myself and my bro were allergic to cats, but the cat distribution system came into play and we had strays living under our house. So one of them just jumped through my window one night and ended up living with us for 14yrs till he passed. Our 2nd cat was 3yrs younger and lived til 16. Now as a bunny parent it's crazy because when I started I noticed the simularities immediately. My 1st bun would play like my cat did, she stole my bottle caps and had the whole 'if I fits I sits' mentality. My mate just went "I've never seen a bunny act like that." XDD My current boy likes to jump up and sit on the windowsill at night behind my curtain and just sleep. The cat qualities won me over ngl.
yeey you made one this one I knew personal alot more about but one thing that was an big Aha moment was the allergi part cuse i tought it was about the same that was integrering to learn thank you. /stay hoppy next animal could be guinipigs or hamster/rats.
I mean, I just gotta say, in a fight I think cats win every time due to being predators- OH YOU MEANT AS A PET! Both are great as pets, each having their own strengths, weaknesses and being Uber cute
I've had 2 cats and 5 bunnies, and the bunnies have been FAR more work than the cats. Changing the bunny litterbox really takes me a long time, and I find myself wishing bunny litter was as simple as scooping and dumping. Changing the bunny box is a whole ordeal that, as a disabled person, I have a really hard time with. plus also bunnies have been far more destructive than my two cats. i just really think cats are the lowest-maintenance pet anyone could ever have. All other exotic pets like small pets & fish etc require specialized care unlike dogs & cats, making those two the easiest ones to care for/with less likelihood of accidental deaths.
omg can someone help me out pls.. i really want a pet again, I had a bunny that passed away 2 years ago, and I've been wanting another bunny but have been scared about it getting sick and the same thing happening with my bunny, since bunnies have such a sensitive gut . would a cat be a better option because of this?
Does anyone have any rabbit advice for me. I have two rabbits who live together, however they have different pellets. They don't wolf down their pellets and prefer to eat them slower. How do you advise I give them their pellets without one eating the others? I can't sit with them and watch for 2 hours (which is how long it takes for them to have them all since they take breaks lol). HELP PLEASE!
Sorry but having a bunny is a big worry , watching out for stasis is a real worry Rabbits are much higher maintenance than a cat , more expensive at the vets, they are fragile and don’t handle invasive medical treatments very well, they are super sensitive to sedation, they have growing teeth that might need life long trimming if not aligned properly …. Cats don’t really need another cat for a company , they are easier to treat medically Rabbits are difficult to find a sitter for , stress can cause GI stasis Cats are much more resilient and easier to care for in many areas Just to mention I do have bunnies, not cats right now
We have 2 cats and 1 bunny. They get along great. While the cats think they own the humans, the rabbit thinks he’s in charge of the cats, it’s kind of hysterical. My cat is a bit of a bully, the rabbits a sweetheart

Hoppy Cinnabun Sunday 👋
Fantastic video, thank you for sharing this info! 😘 I'm a rabbit person since 2010 when I got my first bunny (a boy). And now I have a bunny girl. 🐇 I would love to see a video Rabbits vs Guinea pigs 😍 Guinea pigs are also so adorable! ❤
Cinnabun is an adorable 🐰 bunny! He is so much fun to watch! My husband and I are bunny 🐰 people! Have a great Sunday, Cinnabun! Bunnies 🐰 RULE!
I have 3 cats and recently rescued a rabbit and they are pretty similar. The cats have really helped my Bun settle in and get used to being a pet (he was an outdoor hutch rabbit) and they seem to be pretty much the same in terms of playtime and snuggles.
Omg my cat helped my bun settle too 🥹 I feel like her showed him the ropes he keeps him in check 😭❤️
Loved this! Thanks! I have both cats and a rabbit! My cats are indoor/outdoor and I do appreciate that my rabbit is only inside and doesn’t bring home fresh kills to share with the family too. lol
i have both! i love them together
I adore you're bunny!❤
OMG HII I JUST WANTED TO SAY HOW MUCH YOU HAVE HELPED ME AND MY RABBIT SO THANK YOU!💕☺️
my comfort channel!! love watching your video every sunday
Yay! Thank you!
Shockingly, our rabbit comes to investigate when he hears new voices in the house. Will go and nudge new people.
Mine too!!
Hi🐇🐇🐇❤️ I love your videos.
Cinnabun is one of the most cute bunnys i have ever seen❤️🐇
For rabbits papaya and pineapple juice help with ingesting and breaking down hair blockages though so it's a good idea to give them a little bit of fresh pineapple at least once a month.

Love these videos (especially as they're unbiased). Yes, make more like this!
omg if i had to choose between getting a cat dog or rabbit it would be a difficult choice they are all sooo cute in their own ways
It’s really soooo hard to pick
Can we see you compare hamsters to rabbits? LOVING this series!
I love this video I’m definitely a rabbit person though. thank you

Here in the UK, the vet's bill for a cat is way more than the similar bill for a rabbit

Could you do a video on how to keep bunnies cool in the summer x no other RUclipsr explains stuff better than you so please do it ❤

So cool
Ive always wondered if bunnies can wear outfits ☺️
Some will some hate it. It really depends on their personality my hun hates outfits but he is okay with hats 😂
Love you hair!!!
Can u do at least one behind the bun plz
Can you do bunnies vS Ferrets
I'm bunny-sitting my best friend's daughter's bunny while they are overseas. My first experience with a rabbit.

I have both cats and a rabbit..personally I am more leaning towards my rabbit Brownie
i would love a video about if you can pair a bunny with any other pet :) i know having a dog and a bunny may not be the best idea for example
I have a dog, a cat, and a bunny. My dog is small, but most dogs do get along with bunnies. I would be careful with hunting dogs or other large aggressive dogs. Other than that, just watch them close for a while.
Rabbits are calm so I prefer them.

1:35 why would it be a bad thing that a cat will stay and be loved from 20 to 38?, I'm 34 my cat is over 20 years old ive had her since middle school.
Think you could do a rabbit vs bearded dragon?
Bunny best
BOTH!!!! ❤❤❤
Omg is that Stevie "Stinky" LaForge?
I know you mentioned that cats don’t like to leave the house because they are “house cats” but Ive seen a lot cats trying to escape the house through the front door when the owner opens it and sneaks between their legs.
