My bunny often comes to look for me when I've left the room. I'll take a bath, for example, and 10 minutes in, I'll hear his paws and the bathroom door will edge open. Once he's seen me, he hops off and waits for me outside the door! I feel so loved and special when he does that :-)
100% of having a rabbit is learning their reactions and learning what bunnies respond to. Rabbits are very treat oriented and can be trained to do so many things providing rewards for them. Most rabbits automatically know right away when you " speak bunny". Our second rabbit made himself right at home on day one after our first one passed. He is really layed back. Loves belly rubs.
I found my bunny on the streets here in Amsterdam 3 years ago, the shelters where full so they asked me if I wanted to foster him for 2 weeks, after the two weeks I called them If I could be his forever home. now I think one of the things he does to show his affection to me is that he wants to show all his toys to me, and keeps running after me with them if I am not paying the attention that he wants haha
On Christmas Eve, I went to rescue a 4 week old frozen baby bunny, and when we got home, I got lots of kisses that day from the baby. And my other rabbit Loren stepped in as a mother to the baby 💕
When your bunny calmly climbs over you if your on the floor with them and kinda in their way it’s hella cute & a sign of trust. Also if they feel comfortable sleeping next to you instead of hopping off to their hidey hole that’s a sign of trust. And if they feel comfortable putting their paws on your lap or sitting on your lap that’s another sign of affection. Anyhow super cute video. It’s so fun imo to watch a bunny gain confidence and trust their human. 🐾

My current bunny I adopted four years ago, and he was very tough to bond with. Especially when our relationship regressed severely when his partner passed away. In the last month or two, I noticed he starts purring when I start singing to him. Still won’t give me kisses, so I treasure the ones I used to get. He does have certain spots where he will wait for pets, but will let me know if he is not in the mood for touch.

There are some rabbits in my partner’s garden (it’s an apartment complex and they are cared for, don’t worry) and I don’t get to visit them often but every time I visit them, they let me hand feed them but it’s so obvious that they don’t enjoy my presence so I don’t think that it’s a sign of winning them over. They will run away if I approach them, they absolutely do not let me pet them, some of them thump and even attack me if I “invade” their personal space (and by attack I mean repeatedly head butting my knee.) but when it comes to food, they let me hand feed them however I want. Even the little rascal who attacks me for fun will absolutely eat food off my hand. It’s crazy. But then it’s important to mention that they are domesticated and thus are used to human presence. Just not specifically my presence
My rabbit disliked petting/ hands and people so much even tho I got him at 3 weeks old prematurely due to a bad breeder situation. Now 4yrs old with lots of help from Lennon and YOU he lets me do anything 😂pick him up groom him he bows kid head so so cute and begs for attention now!

I use Google translator to translate the videos, the content is very good and here in Brazil, they leave a lot to be desired in relation to rabbits, I have had rabbits for over 10 years and I have always gained all their trust. My rabbit is called Smoke and through your video I saw that I am basically his "safe haven", he trusts completely. He falls asleep so well in my lap that he starts to dream. Snacks he eats directly from my hand, he doesn't take them "away", he uses my hand as a "support" to eat. Belly massages, ahhh how he likes that, he's totally relaxed. Kisses, I get all day, anywhere on the body he can reach, even when I'm standing he gives me kisses on my feet and legs. He only kicks me when I'm going to cut his nails, he really doesn't like that, my others let me have no problem. But Smoke doesn't like to cut his nails, so I always ask my daughter for help, while I keep him calm, she cuts his nails. Then we managed to cut it, without problems keeping him calm. My cousins and aunt have a rabbit and they have it in a cage and all the bad stuff. Today it got really hurt because of the cage bottom and I gave some advice and they discovered they dont have what it takes to care for a bunny. They have decided to give it to me and I am so excited. I am already stressing and cleaning my room because she is arriving tomorrow and I have nothing prepared!! My mom says I need to just see how she acts and then she can take me shopping to get stuff for her. I am so excited this is my first bunny and I have been watching your channel for years. I havent watched in a while but I am starting to watch you again as I am getting my first bunny. She was in the car for 9 hours and was traumatized and went into GI status and i didnt know bc I did just a little to little research. We went to get her spayed and she didn’t wake up. We accidentally managed to book a vet that doesnt do checkups before the surgery. I’m still very sad but im doing Okay now and I think I’m gonna wait to get another bunny till im older.
My bunny tends to fall asleep when I pet him, so when I rub his belly he'll lie down to sleep as I pet him, trapping my hand underneath him. He's surprisingly heavy for such a smol baby lol!
Plum and Caye are shelter bunnies. They've always been comfortable with hand feeding them. Caye is just plain nuts: if I eat something while laying on the floor, she will try to get it out of my mouth. This is the same bunny that not only grooms me, but also grooms my glasses (thanks, buddy) and the pillow I'm laying on.
I recently rescued a bunny and he's my first foray into the world of buns. Its been about 2 months and he now grooms me and let's me brush him. He also listens to me and it's obvious because he's a partial lop so he swings his ears forward like a satellite dish when I talk to him. I'm absolutely in love ❤️
Some rabbits are just more cautious/paranoid by nature than others. Another good sign is "grooming by proxy", when instead of licking/grooming you directly they do so to things that smell like you. Blankets, clothing items, your favorite spot on the couch or favorite chair; stuff like that. Another good sign that, at the least, they consider you part of their society is watching over you while you sleep and sleeping in full view of you. My bun is free roam, and she frequently naps in areas that are covered (under the bed or the couch), because they feel safe in an environment that mimics a burrow. However, even wild rabbits have been known to nap in the open, and when they do it's usually when there's at least one other rabbit nearby to pull lookout duty. If your bun watched you while you sleep, like mine does? They aren't trying to be creepy, they think they're keeping you safe. Similarly, if they nap in the open in front of you, it's because they trust you to alert them if there is a threat.

I just got a bunny last week! He’s less than two months old and I’m so so in love with this little creature. I’m trying my best to bond with him, let him roam around freely and give treats. He already comes to my lap when I enter the room because he knows it’s time for treats!😊 yesterday he let me run his belly for the first time and slept next to me, I felt so special ❤

We are working with a precious new adoptee bonded to our other one. He loves to hear me talk and sing. He likes to come over and listen when i talk to him. If i sit down and talk to him he comes running over and sits and listens. Still working through some trauma but at least we have a few wins and he listens to us ❤
My bunnies don't show any signs listed in this video, but I know they love me. One is always near me and chill besides me. He likes laying on my bed, and when I go to another room, he leaves also. Another bunny likes cuddling and can do that for hours, also being embraced. They are all different characters, some more touchy, others more independent. They show their love so or so anyway
My bunnies only let me hold them in a blanket like a baby. They hide there face in the blanket for a few minutes while I rub their ears and head/ then their heads come out and sit with me relaxed and I can hold them and enjoy holding them just chilling. My white one actually fell asleep while doing it. The other two just like the caressing.
my flemish giant will let me rub her belly, her front and back paws, literally everywhere i can pet her. She will also groom me when shes feeling lovey shes the sweetest girl!
My bunnies will take anything out of my hand and cause I’m consistent everyday. And they seem to enjoy me talking to them as I take care of my other pets they’ll flop next to me as I’m on their floor in their room.

The cutest thing my Pookie has done is, he falls asleep in my arms whenever I pet him for longer than 5 minutes. I can tell he's sleeping because he will wiggle the same way dogs wiggle when they dream. One time, he even binkied in his dream; his cute lil ears whacked my hands which were on each side of him.
I’ve had my rescue rabbits for almost a year now and it’s definitely been a challange getting them to trust me and be comfortable living here. (They’ll never get over their fears of the microwave I think haha) I’d love to get to a point where they can trust me even more but for now I think it’s all about looking for their small individual displays of friendship. One of them sometimes licks my knee and I rejoice every time! The other onewill sometimes be very adamant she wants me to pet her by running around me, nudging me and then if I reach down she runs over to her favourite sleeping spot and bows her head down, such a particular little lady x)
I also think that it is a sign of trust if your bunny follows you around your home. Then they also find you interesting. I love when my bunny does that 😍
I give my bunnies treats at night before I leave for work So if I'm not awake by a certain time in the evening, my albino will jump up on me and thump So he is trained to be my little alarm clock in exchange for treats ☺️
What about when they start digging on you? 😂 Or they follow you around. And of course when they are bunny- purring when you pet them. And what about when they mark you with their chin?

I have all of these but I cannot safely lift my bun because of my physical disabilities. Typically my bunny doesn’t hop onto me either but he loves to flop next to me, almost ontop of me, sleep next to me and in the winter he loves to cuddle with me on the sofa. When he first came here he would come look for me on my bed then started spraying so I had to not let him on the bed 🤣 but he would always sleep here. Within a month... I still don't know how... but within a month being with me he felt safe with me. My girl who passed away this year also felt safe with us, Mom and I. She was eating from our hands within days. I miss her so much. I'm so blessed having known her and also having my boi now.

My male (Elvis) and female (Babka) don't spend time together because I can't afford to get either of them fixed. A few days ago, I brought Babka into the play area. After she checked all the corners and cubbies, she came to my right leg and locked it for several minutes, then she moved to my left leg and locked it for about a minute. My heart just melted! I've been holding Elvis since he was 5 days old, and Babka was very socialized when my brother's friend left her in his car (!), and I was the only person Elvis' sire tolerated being held by, so bunnies tend to feel safe with me, and the often lick my inner elbows or upper arms. That grooming on my legs was amazing! Thanks for telling me why.
I remember going to my friends house because her rabbit had babies and it was coming up to finding them homes and I picked up a red eyed white and he instantly started grooming my arm and licking me I said this is the one for me he does most the things you’ve stated in your video but he hates being picked up lol
Third one Yes she let me hand feed her ( its just one month since I adopted her from her previous owner and sometimes she doesn't eat unless I hand feed her *she's stubborn* )
My mini lop, biscuit js a absolute mini dog, he does zoomies and binkys while trying to hold rope toys designed for dogs because he refuses to use toys designed for rabbits (i dont know why) and he is a absolute sucker for silvervine, will headbutt my ankle for attention, chase me, nuzzle closer to doze off, and will start purring (chattering his teeth) when i scratch by his cheek and neck, he’s literal perfection and loves the song you are my sunshine

I rescued my bunny, Oreo, 5 days ago. She gets fussy about the initial handling, but as soon as she's in my arms she relaxes! It's weird bc she licked me on day 2, and I was like huh, they do that?! Come to find out, her accepting food from my hand, with a little bit of grunting, but then after the first pellet she warms right up and starts begging for more! She was only ever fed pellets and I have to cut them back bc she refuses hay. I found a field that was fresh cut, and she mostly turns her nose to it, she grunts when I put the hay in but totally let's me out my hand in her cage if I have shaken her pellets first!
House bunnies are a *different breed*. So spoiled by MY human how could I possibly like another? Bond too strong 😊 free roam is like the whole house is their territory. Nobody else invited except mom and dad. Belly rubs are okay on the sides but don’t you dare touch my feet 😂

The problem with my bun falling asleep on me is when he wakes up. It's like Freddy showed up in his dream and he startles himself awake which startles me. He thumps in his sleep sometimes too waking himself up. I have another bun that slobbers on me. Not just lick, but slobber like a puppy dog. I swear he purposely dunks his mouth in his water and smears it on my leg sometimes. Lol
I KNOW My boy Ollie LOVES me, his flops, his little nudges for pets and his love for the so called brain scrambling head pet (you know when you arch your hand and go all the way from the nose to the tip of the ears) all tell me he does. but he HATES being picked up HATES tummy rubs, he's just naturally skittish. idk he's still my baby and i know he sees me as his mom

Once i tried to pet her on belly and her chin but she just didn't like it and ran away after that I didn't tried to pet her on Belly or chin coz i know she feels uncomfortable. My Ziggy allows the belly rubs, loves to hear me talk to him, and licks my feet until I've lost a layer of skin. Not only will he take food from my hand, but also larger treats from my lips. I just gently hold them there and he pulls them right out. Then sits with his paws on my chest eating the treat while facing me directly. He'll sleep next to me, but not on me yet. He hates being held, and really dislikes brushing, but will allow it if I use the brushing mitten instead of a comb. We're partway there!
I just brought home my new 8 week old bunny, she’s getting along with my other older rabbit but I’m still bonding them slowly. I let her out on the first day (aka she jumped out her pen when changed her water) and she immediately jumped into my lap and licked my arm. It was only the first day too😂

We are working with a precious new adoptee bonded to our other one. He loves to hear me talk and sing. He likes to come over and listen when i talk to him. If i sit down and talk to him he comes running over and sits and listens. Still working through some trauma but at least we have a few wins and he listens to us ❤

My bunnies don't show any signs listed in this video, but I know they love me. One is always near me and chill besides me. He likes laying on my bed, and when I go to another room, he leaves also.
Another bunny likes cuddling and can do that for hours, also being embraced. They are all different characters, some more touchy, others more independent. They show their love so or so anyway
My bunnies only let me hold them in a blanket like a baby. They hide there face in the blanket for a few minutes while I rub their ears and head/ then their heads come out and sit with me relaxed and I can hold them and enjoy holding them just chilling. My white one actually fell asleep while doing it. The other two just like the caressing.
my flemish giant will let me rub her belly, her front and back paws, literally everywhere i can pet her. She will also groom me when shes feeling lovey shes the sweetest girl!
My bunnies will take anything out of my hand and cause I’m consistent everyday. And they seem to enjoy me talking to them as I take care of my other pets they’ll flop next to me as I’m on their floor in their room.
my lop rabbit Mocha LOVED when I gave her belly rubs. in fact she would literally do a flop onto my lap seeking them from me. it was ADORABLE!

Some things i noticed with my bunny if shes like very giggly and she has a focused look on me i do a tickle motion with my fingers and i call her name she makes a binky, runs away, comes back or makes a bunny flop
The cutest thing my Pookie has done is, he falls asleep in my arms whenever I pet him for longer than 5 minutes. I can tell he's sleeping because he will wiggle the same way dogs wiggle when they dream. One time, he even binkied in his dream; his cute lil ears whacked my hands which were on each side of him.
I’ve had my rescue rabbits for almost a year now and it’s definitely been a challange getting them to trust me and be comfortable living here. (They’ll never get over their fears of the microwave I think haha) I’d love to get to a point where they can trust me even more but for now I think it’s all about looking for their small individual displays of friendship. One of them sometimes licks my knee and I rejoice every time! The other onewill sometimes be very adamant she wants me to pet her by running around me, nudging me and then if I reach down she runs over to her favourite sleeping spot and bows her head down, such a particular little lady x)

So if I'm not awake by a certain time in the evening, my albino will jump up on me and thump

I have all of these but I cannot safely lift my bun because of my physical disabilities.
Typically my bunny doesn’t hop onto me either but he loves to flop next to me, almost ontop of me, sleep next to me and in the winter he loves to cuddle with me on the sofa. When he first came here he would come look for me on my bed then started spraying so I had to not let him on the bed 🤣 but he would always sleep here. Within a month... I still don't know how... but within a month being with me he felt safe with me. My girl who passed away this year also felt safe with us, Mom and I. She was eating from our hands within days. I miss her so much. I'm so blessed having known her and also having my boi now.

My daughter I love your channel and she loves her bunny more than anything we have a family of wild rabbits in the woods behind our house she told me she saw four of them playing in our neighbors yard she is 10 and she loves bunnies we don't have enough room to free roam her but she does everything she can to love her bunny
My butterscotch will eat out of my hand all the time and will actually let me pet him while he eats.
My male (Elvis) and female (Babka) don't spend time together because I can't afford to get either of them fixed. A few days ago, I brought Babka into the play area. After she checked all the corners and cubbies, she came to my right leg and locked it for several minutes, then she moved to my left leg and locked it for about a minute. My heart just melted! I've been holding Elvis since he was 5 days old, and Babka was very socialized when my brother's friend left her in his car (!), and I was the only person Elvis' sire tolerated being held by, so bunnies tend to feel safe with me, and the often lick my inner elbows or upper arms. That grooming on my legs was amazing! Thanks for telling me why.

My mini lop, biscuit js a absolute mini dog, he does zoomies and binkys while trying to hold rope toys designed for dogs because he refuses to use toys designed for rabbits (i dont know why) and he is a absolute sucker for silvervine, will headbutt my ankle for attention, chase me, nuzzle closer to doze off, and will start purring (chattering his teeth) when i scratch by his cheek and neck, he’s literal perfection and loves the song you are my sunshine

I rescued my bunny, Oreo, 5 days ago. She gets fussy about the initial handling, but as soon as she's in my arms she relaxes! It's weird bc she licked me on day 2, and I was like huh, they do that?! Come to find out, her accepting food from my hand, with a little bit of grunting, but then after the first pellet she warms right up and starts begging for more! She was only ever fed pellets and I have to cut them back bc she refuses hay. I found a field that was fresh cut, and she mostly turns her nose to it, she grunts when I put the hay in but totally let's me out my hand in her cage if I have shaken her pellets first!
House bunnies are a *different breed*. So spoiled by MY human how could I possibly like another? Bond too strong 😊 free roam is like the whole house is their territory. Nobody else invited except mom and dad. Belly rubs are okay on the sides but don’t you dare touch my feet 😂
Whenever I stand near my rabbit, he supports me and stands there until I take him in my lap.😅😂
My bunny usually does not like being brushed but the other day she was chattering her teeth and even gave me kisses while I brushed her out 🥰

The problem with my bun falling asleep on me is when he wakes up. It's like Freddy showed up in his dream and he startles himself awake which startles me. He thumps in his sleep sometimes too waking himself up. I have another bun that slobbers on me. Not just lick, but slobber like a puppy dog. I swear he purposely dunks his mouth in his water and smears it on my leg sometimes. Lol
I KNOW My boy Ollie LOVES me, his flops, his little nudges for pets and his love for the so called brain scrambling head pet (you know when you arch your hand and go all the way from the nose to the tip of the ears) all tell me he does. but he HATES being picked up HATES tummy rubs, he's just naturally skittish. idk he's still my baby and i know he sees me as his mom

She sometimes herself force me to pet her head and back if I don't than she scratches me 😢😢then I started realising she's just blackmailing me 😅😅😂😂its funny my cookie give me attention when she needs food peting etc and on other second she ignores me like I don't even exist, 😢and she never let me do my work always comes around me whenever i m busy but whenever i am free she just act like queen 👑

My Ziggy allows the belly rubs, loves to hear me talk to him, and licks my feet until I've lost a layer of skin. Not only will he take food from my hand, but also larger treats from my lips. I just gently hold them there and he pulls them right out. Then sits with his paws on my chest eating the treat while facing me directly. He'll sleep next to me, but not on me yet. He hates being held, and really dislikes brushing, but will allow it if I use the brushing mitten instead of a comb. We're partway there!

I just brought home my new 8 week old bunny, she’s getting along with my other older rabbit but I’m still bonding them slowly. I let her out on the first day (aka she jumped out her pen when changed her water) and she immediately jumped into my lap and licked my arm. It was only the first day too😂
