What didnt sit right with me was the fact that she had 13 bunnies die in 10 years.
I was thinking that would have been a bigger issue than it was.
I had 4 die in about a month's time last year... our store ran out of our usual pellets and the ones they gave us instead didn't agree with their tummies... didn't see any signs that anything was wrong until it was too late. :(
I have a lot of bunnies all around the same age, so it's not a surprising thing to lose a bunch at once in that case either... super hard though.
Eventually you never know what happend.
I had 7 who died in the last 10 years but that is because at rabbit shelters we always chose the older rabbits so we didn't had them for very long.
I just like to take care of the older rabbits who didn't had a great life and give them the life they deserve before passing.

Without context, it is hard to judge these people’s situation. I’ve lost 6 rabbits in the last 3 years due to age and health complications. All were well cared for and I spent upwards of $17,000 on them in vet bills…one just never knows.

Did anyone else get really ticked off when the narrator acted like free roaming was strange/unusual while putting rabbits in hutches was normal? Like, I don't blame the narrator himself since he's just reading off of a script, but I feel like whoever wrote that segment shouldn't have made it rub off that way. It's an incredibly bad message to send.
I get that everyone copes different but I'm honestly scared for their health. They eat a 19 year old cake EVERY YEAR and store it back in where dead bunnies are..

I think it’s so good that people learn about care before getting a rabbit. I know it should be the norm but lots of people (me included unfortunately) get pets before research. My parents got mine for me when I was young as a surprise and for years they lived in hutches (they now live in a shed as I’m not allowed them inside unfortunately). Anyway what I’m trying to say is that I bet your buns will be living the life when you get them!

Omg.... When I lost my first bun, love of my life I remember driving up to the meadows to bury her, and for a flashing moment I wanted to taxidermy her. I also thought of getting her cremated so I can always have her with me. But it felt sooo right to me to have her be in the meadows, to be free so that's what I did :)

Never say never but despite loving both my bunnies SO SO much, seeing them in my room/house freeze dried like that would break my heart everytime I’d see them cause it’d just remind me about their deaths.. No judgement whatsoever but I’d personally rather have tonnes of drawings/portraits and photos of them💜💜

I feel that if they truly love rabbits they would be spending their money on giving the rabbits the BEST LIFE possible, but instead the rabbits are closed off in a small dirty room for the amount of rabbits they have, & are wasting money on bunny stuff e.g. soft toys, ornaments, everything has bunnies on it. And $500 to freeze dry the rabbits that have passed away.....that $500 could go a long way to caring for the LIVE RABBITS!

What’s most concerning about this is how many rabbits she’s gotten through. These are not toys or prized-possessions, they are living, sentient beings that deserve a loving home and long happy life. This is very concerning and I hope rescue services got involved when this was filmed
We don't know how long she's been doing this for. She could have easily had them all go through their potential lifespan
Well just because they had a lot of bunnies die doesn't mean they are bad owners. We can't just assume their situation without getting to know them.
I know, if you just got rid of her hoarders den.. she would have more time for the bunnies. Maybe they can even hang out in the living room, with her and her husband. 13 bunnies in 10 years, that can’t be right.

Also, it depends on the situation; My friend had 6 rabbits die in 7 months because she only adopted elder bunnies with disabilities. You cannot judge someone without getting to know their situations first

I think I'm okay with just having pictures of my rabbits after they pass. The physical bodies of my rabbits aren't what I get attached to so when they die the part that I will miss has already moved on. As for me its better to bury them underground to feed the garden for the next generation.

Definitely anyone with a bunny on the Internet is watching you and lennon! I found you a few weeks ago and you have changed my future bunnies lifes! Only for the fact I was uneducated and it is so normalised I was going to get a hutch and a run outside! Now my 2 babies will be free roaming with a condo as a home base at night and will be eventually free roaming 24 7 when they are fully litter trained! I know this might be bad of me, but I have a pitch-black sense of humor and I find this to be absolutely morbidly hilarious. I know this lady loves her lagomorphs but she unintentionally comes off as a ridiculously over-the-top rabbit-obsessed serial killer. Her preserving the bunny corpses next to the Blue Bunny ice cream sealed the deal for me. Note that I don't condone animal cruelty or anything like that AT ALL, but this just tickled my funny bone for how ludicrous it was. It was so bizarre that I couldn't help but laugh. I feel like there's something not quite right about this whole thing and the couple themselves. Obviously they can do what they want, but I just kept getting creepy vibes watching them. There's something unhealthy about this level of obsession. I understand wanting to remember a beloved pet, but I think keeping them in the freezer for 10+ years is beyond morbid and creepy.

My little bun-bun (mini lop) is called Truffle and she came home just over a month ago! I only have my bedroom available and it isn’t big enough for her to be entirely free roam, but I do have a big cage and try to take her outside to roam for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour a day. She has constant supply of water and hay, along with the recommended food amount and the occasional treats and various fruits and veggies. What can I do to make sure she is stimulated when I am at school and is there anything else you’d recommend?

I could never put my dead rabbit in the fridge. That breaks my heart 😣 I saw a shop on Etsy that makes stuffed rabbits that look like your own, I want to get one made after my boy passes away. It’s a much better way to deal with loss than freezing him next to my popsicles and frozen snacks

I need a opinion, I am adopting a baby Holland lop. i have two dogs, I want to free roam but that would be to risky( even though they are vary sweet) I am still student so I have school 7 hours a day. Pls like so lorelei can see this!

I would love to get my cats skeleton posed when she passes, so I honestly understand the keeping of their bunnies this way.
What I DONT understand is keeping your taxidermy projects in the normal freezer! They make chest freezers that they could have gotten instead.
