Props to the hoarder for actually owning up to her failures. Too often they deflect blame or refuse to acknowledge the situation. Glad this video exists to spread the word about things like this and maybe encourage someone who IS in this situation to open up their eyes.
Skunkers that’s true I think some people don’t give them much of a chance they just view them as an awful person and the could be discouraged to save them I’m glad that they were helpful for the bunny’s sake you two are hero’s 😊
Not arguing at all but I mean she waited until the situation was pretty dire I wouldn't give her too much credit also she's saying she can't afford vegetables for her 60 rabbits mean while she certainly isn't going hungry.. I have no empathy for people like her, wish we could lock her in her rabbit shed
Very true but I feel she’s only owning up because she’s caught and if they didn’t catch her in the act she wouldn’t have changed anything. If this was going on for SO LONG and she’s owning up she would’ve known for a looong time, and that poor beaten up bunny was gettin hurt since birth but she kept putting him back... she should’ve stopped trying to re introduce him. Poor babies- so many mites and ear infections.
Ugh as a rabbit owner of 3 beautiful buns this breaks my heart to see the condition of that rabbit😭😭😭😭 also for a rabbit who has been though so much, he is very chill....
She did wrong but bunnies are fast in getting a new litter very quick. They are also very late to tell the gender of them, I do not support this hoarding but bunnies can have a new litter before even their sex can been maked sure..they are ready for it by 8weeks but to tell their actally gender is about 10-12 weeks old..It's not easy to tell..and proberly she thought that during the 8 week and then suprise a girl by 8 week was actally a boy and a boy was actally a girl and then it goes on..It's not a easy one to tell their actally gender it's not good what, she did but it tells she didn't know or she thought at male was a male and yet a girl and when she thought girl was a girl but was a male...It's not easy and get's out of control..that's why she reached out..
Is there really an excuse for pure ignorance and stupidity that leads to innocent animals getting hurt and/or killed? Ignorance and stupidity that could have been cured with just a small amount of research by conducting just a couple of simple Google searches. Its not difficult to research how to take care of an animal properly.. And here's a shocking, mind altering, absolutely insane thought... if you don't know how to take care of an animal properly then maybe you should NOT own the animal, let alone dozens of them. 😮 mind blown, right?!
@@toofunny001 true. Agree with you and there is no excuse for such thing, this women did, it's not okay and she shouldn't have bunnies or any animal at all but she did atleast something to get help but it's a bit late too. So, yeah and google can give false informations too as she should have acted much earlier before it came out hand and no animal deserves this..
oscar is such a strong bunny. despite his scars, he is still doing his own thing. this is really sad and concerning to know that bunnies aren’t being treated the way they should. hopefully when i get a little older, im able to spread awareness too and help a bunny out.
right, and they even mentioned he’s been attacked since he was a little baby, most rabbits would develop some type of temperament or aggression because they grew up with very bad living standards.. oscars so strong and sweet and he deserves the best life 🥺
Jessicah McClain You must be rude in order for someone to understand. Especially in this situation you have to be blunt about it or they might not even try.
@@waaaaa3402 I'd just like to point out that they've been working with this woman for a while now. The woman has been seeking help, they helped her with 2 bunnies. And now they're returning. The woman already knows. A woman that wouldn't know what she did wrong, would say; 'Yeah but so what?' and 'what are you doing, leave them alone, I want to keep them.'
As a bunny mom of 3 this brought tears to my eyes. Hurts to see how these bunnies live in awful conditions.... I'm glad you went to help out. You're such a good person.
Oh poor Oscar! I wish I could just give him some TLC. Such a beautiful little boy. All these bunnies deserve so much more then being stuck in a chicken wire pen with nothing but pellets. This is awful! Love you and Lennon! 😭❤️🥰
I can't stop crying because that bunny looks like mine and I'm almost ready to let him free roam and I just need some more cord protectors then bye bye cage
Be sure to litter train them. I recommend getting rid of cage, and moving it into an enclosed exercise pen. An exercise pen will have more room than a cage, but less than the full room. You litter train them in the bigger area of the exercise pen, then you transition to the full room.
Yeah that depends on the area for sure. Timothy Hayward I am at is very expensive. A small break of Timothy hay cost me more money than an entire bale of alfalfa
@@telsa7812 That is very true, although there are many online sources that can ship through out America. There has got to be one as cheap or cheaper then Alfalfa. Where I live Alfalfa is more expensive, but I go online and find many sources with Timothy hay cheaper.
Skull Girrl yeah... it’s so sad that bunny owners don’t know that rabbits need Timothy hay. I got my rabbit and the breeder told me very good things. It’s better to buy a rabbit from a breeder or shelter.
It take a lot of work and money and I do think you can just buy A shop and add in the stuff you need lots of permits and stuff so it would be cool But really does not seem very realistic for her but it is just my opinion
I realize this situation is horrible, and it breaks my heart. But I felt like the lady with Oscar really did well telling you the situation and told you she is a hoarder and she is willing to get help and has let people help her to get them help and adopt them out. but I couldn't help but notice you came off a little judgmental towards her, even though she was owning up to her wrong in this horrible situation. I just feel like she needs some help for the rabbits for and her herself mentally, without being judged and asked why they don't get veggies with a comment like oh ummm? she gave a reasonable explanation it would be too much money. I have two house bunnies that I love dearly, but I couldn't imagine the cost of feeding 60 bunnies a proper diet....YIKES! I just don't see how anyone could do that, or maybe give her useful suggestions, like well you should grow a garden to cut down feed cost or can I put you in contact with some local farmers to possibly trade rabbit poop for veggies or hay. Tons of farmers, gardeners, and homesteaders will pay for rabbit poo. I just feel like you could have been more helpful I guess. I do love you bun and you videos. That is just my look on it. if you are still in contact maybe calling some local grocery stores for veggies they can't sell anymore would be a way to help her.
Yes, exactly! I was just about to comment the same thing. Being condescending toward a hoarder often makes them recoil and refuse help. She's obviously trying her best to handle the situation, so why question her past decisions? There's nothing you can do about them now, so why judge instead of finding more ways to help?
I understand what you're saying, but I can't help but realize that when you're witness to the condition of those poor animals, it's difficult to be objectively helpful and detached. She knew how much pain the poor bunnies were in and it was probably hard for her to contain her emotions as is; I'd be angry. As much as I would want to be level headed, I would be so, so angry. I think in future situations she'll be able to handle these situations differently, but it's going to be a journey.
Mom gone domestic- she doesn't need to be coddled. Perhaps she just responded honestly, and just maybe she later thought to herself she could have worded things differently. Now your being judgemental after watching it. You may have responded the same not realizing it.
This is good education for people that want to buy bunny for Easter and have no idea what they are get in to thank you people need to see what can happen.
Yes and no. I feel like it would be been best to put each male in a smaller enclosure, despite the fact that I had the thought of a smaller enclosure. I think maybe 2-4 females could be housed in a larger enclosure.
Yesterday, my teacher showed me a picture of her son (a baby) sitting next to a rabbit in an Easter photo. People need to be educated. Rabbits are not meant for Easter photos. (Edit) thank you for being concerned. No, I didn’t tell her it was wrong, and yes, I regret it. (Another edit) yes it is ok to take selfies with rabbits, but this situation is different. The rabbit did not look happy, sort of like the one in this video. It seemed so sad. Like i said, taking pictures of rabbits is ok as long as it is properly cared for.
Tino stfu thise obviously wasn't her intentions she didn't expect this to be the outcome and she's making an effort because she's getting some of them fixed so that shows she's trying so you can actually stfu because if your not in her situation then u don't know what she's going through with them
Hi Lorelei and Lennon! I wanted to drop in to this video to give you the news that I have recently started a foster-to-adopt with one of these bunnies!! I have been friends with Vicki since I was a teenager, and my mind was blown when I discovered you were too when first watching your videos! Lily is a very, VERY shy Himalayan bunny and she only has the one red eye, I think those being reasons it has taken her so long to get adopted. I just wanted my bunny Nimbus to have a friend his age. The bonding process is almost totally complete between the two (just waiting for his humps to settle down a bit more and for her to start grooming him back!). I will be finalizing it with Vicki real soon. Both free roaming bunnies. I just about died when she did her first binky at my home. Nimbus is totally in love. I love Lily too, I haven't had an animal quite as shy as she is but the experience has been so rewarding. She takes treats from my hand but not quite accepting pets yet. Watching your videos for advice! Anyways, I just wanted to drop in to tell you about her new home and thank you for spreading awareness on this hoarding case and education about bunnies 💖.
Update and Nimbus and Lily are fully bonded now, always side by side, cuddling and kissing. Lily accepts head pets and even cuddles from me, if I'm on the ground next to her... if she is in the mood for it!
This is saddening, yet the fact that you, Vicki, and probably so many other people are working to help fix it is heartwarming. This is something beautiful to see, thank you so much for this.
I can’t believe that those bunnies are living in a shopping carts and small sheds. They are not even being fed right. I believe you did the right thing to go visit these poor bunnies and give advice to these cares. I think the bunnies would of appreciated a visitor. You are a great bunny mum to Lennon and a great supporter of homeless bunnies. You are amazing with how you support homed bunnies and homeless bunnies. You are just amazing in general. Love Lila 💖
When I first found your account, I thought yes great, a fellow bunny mum who is just as enthusiastic about her fur baby as I am. But recently, I've found that there is more of a superior "I'm better than you" kind of an attitude I'm sensing when you speak and make videos. I don't want to seem mean or judgmental, like I'm sort of accusing you of being, but I'm just sensing it more and more. I appreciate the time and effort you took out of your day, to help in this case, but the way you approach your questions that your asking to the owner, sits as being standoffish and self righteous. I get that you are disappointed in the way that these poor fluff bums have been living, but making the owner feel bad about not being able to afford the right hay because of money limitations, even though you can see she understands that what she's feeding them right now is not ideal, is a bit much. I'm sorry if I myself, is coming across as mean and judgmental, I just feel like a different approach to the situation could have happened. (I'm not replying to comments)
Kristine Nicole thanks for commenting that, I thought I was the only one. Don't get me wrong, I think her overall intentions are good, but her delivery is a bit abrasive. I don't hate her though.
You’re absolutely right. I enjoy her content but her attitude comes across self-righteous and judgmental especially when she admitted to not knowing much about rabbits and almost giving hers away on Craigslist. People make mistakes maybe this ladies was overwhelming and had gotten out of control but she’s admitting it and trying to make it right only for a video to be on RUclips with people calling her mentally ill.
Eh, I understand your opinion but mine is different. Here is mine: I don’t think that she does have that attitude, she just is trying to make things better while still being nice. PS no hate
@@dark_baphomet have you heard the phrase breed like rabbits? They can breed like every month I think the lady didnt do enough research (but idk) and if she had, she probably would've had the first bunnies neutered and spayed or atleast separated.
dido of carthage that also is expensive and Lorelei had stated she couldn’t tell the difference in between males and females so she probably thought or was even TOLD they were the same gender which then she could’ve thought there’s no reason to get them fixed until she was in to deep
StarSailorMars, horsey dreams is right I think it’s best if we don’t joke about this situation so please don’t say shut up there just trying to help ❤️
Lorelei: The following footage might be hard to watch (or something like that) Me: I can take it. Also me: Watches footage. Also also me: almost starts crying.
Oh Lorelei. I cried the whole time. You are such a wonderful person. I'm glad you got on her. I love my bunnies and I fixed them immediately. I have watched your videos to educate myself. They deserve love and care!
You handled this with such patience, I'm sure it was hard to not Express emotions. You are Absolutely right, you have to approach situations like this delicately because the person can become offended and reject the help. Praying for all these precious bunnies. 💖
You’re very strong for having the courage to help this situation, even though it has to be devastating to see. Thank you for helping them, you’re making a difference ❤️
Their habitat is so filthy and small. They deserve a loving, clean, safe and playful home, especially poor Oscar. May God bless you for rescuing them. Amen.
@@taproductions4377 Nobody told her when she need to get the. male rabbits neutered. There is a lot of confusion about the age of male kits to neutered them today

OMG... Poor bunnies. Thank you for helping in this situation. ❤️😭 Edit: Thanks for 34 likes, I’ve never gotten that much. If you guys know how to take care of a rabbit, please consider adopting them! The link is in the description of the video it would help them a lot
PennyOhMy I asked my mom and she said that 12 rabbits is enough so I can’t get anymore but I really hope that those bunnies get adopted by someone better than that lady
I just cried and cried the worst part was that Oscar still looked happy and curious even though he was really hurt :( i still cried i just got emotionless...
I do definitely agree that Lorelei was very abrasive to the women with her questions and the way she was wording things, and she did sound quite condescending. But, that being said, that women needed to be told the harsh truth in order for change to take place. I think Lorelei had good intentions and obviously since she had the decency to even go there and give the women tips, I know her heart was in the right place. seeing innocent animals in that situation is enough to make anyone angry even if they know the person owning those animals didn’t have the intention to neglect them, so the fact that she stayed as calm as she did while asking those questions is something we all need to keep in mind. Most people would react far more angrily.
Lorelei did just fine Sara. She is not an expert in mental health communication with a minor in hoarding. Wasting your time critiquing Lorelei. Much worse things to criticize and people to criticize. I can’t fathom how I would handle this.
@@behindblueeyes1511 I just think it's ridiculous how this woman has 60 rabbits housed in chicken wire and shopping carts and Lorelei goes "so... why don't they get vegetables?" like god. that's pretty irrelevant now. she also did nothing but film and interrogate her
No offense, I love your videos, and I understand you're passionate, but you're coming off very condescending which sometimes can escalate a situation like this. It's important to educate with tact, so as to get your point across kindly whilst making your point. If you offend someone, they may choose to stop letting you help, which is never the goal. Just something I noticed ❤️
Melissa Loosli she was very calm coddling a person that is literally abusing animals doesn’t deserve to be comfortable. The woman didn’t even take it serious these rabbits are extremely neglected. I truly don’t feel like this woman did a great thing by asking for help she just made it someone else’s responsibility.
As a rescuer who sees this crap day in day out, some ppl are just lazy and don't want to do what's right. She was a saint to this woman who didn't want to get her useless ass up and fix this situation before 60 innocent creatures get the brunt of her irresponsibility
15:00 "They're so fragile, they could be gone overnight." My heart just went oit for her :( The slight pause, and you know she was thinking of all the bunnies she's seen in awful conditions, goon through the worst 💔 Sending love from me and my adopted bunnies 💕
Two years later, just found the channel, I was wondering how this turned out in the end? I hope all of them found a new home and got the care they needed.
While I admire the efforts and the animals NEED help, asking a person with a problem inflammatoty questions like "So why didn't you do anything x time?" Or "Don't you know x thing is bad?" Is liable to make the problem even worse. If the woman is reaching out, she has already come to the realization she f***ed up. She is doing things very late, and slow, and of course what she is doing is wrong. We already know that. If you go into a hoarder situation and probe pointlessly like that, the hoarder could recoil into themselves and shut themselves out from other people and other help. Sometimes they may even become dangerous. You had thr wherewithall to mention being cautious with hoarders who are finally seeking help, but you still pushed that thin line pretty hard. I just want you to be careful, for both your sake (because I don't eant you getting attacked), and for the sake of the bunnies (since, as I said, sick people who reach out and sense aggression may withdraw). Once those rabbits are all out of her reach, go in full steam ahead by all means (in the safest way possible), if you want to ask such questions. But while there are literal lives on the line, questions are best saved for later.
I think she was confused as to how someone can just watch those bunnies suffer like that and be okay with it and not want to do anything to fix the issue. God knows I'm wondering the same thing. I think Lorelei herself was just trying to understand her thought process, because normal people don't let a situation like this go.
She's not a hoarder. She wasn't actively buying and buying more rabbits or accumulating them on purpose. She didn't want them to breed and tried separating them but she wasn't knowledgeable enough to know what she was doing. Not a hoarder, this is just consequences of bad care.
Steph L hoarding is a serious mental illness many people suffer from. Yes it’s horrible to see these animals being treated this way but understand that the person isn’t as horrible is you make them out to be. Depression and anxiety or not the only mental illness out there
Thank you to Vicki and you for sharing this situation and trying to work things out with the owner. I wish I lived closer to adopt Oscar, so in turn, I have donated toward this cause. Please do what you can to find good safe environments for those buns.
Thank you for sharing this. I’m trying to do my research before I decide on adopting a bunny. Going to work at the bunny rescue ranch next week! You did a really good job of confronting her. She need that. Girl, you have passion and I love it!
When I was about 11 years old, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian because I myself have had a lot of pets, including dogs, a rabbit, water turtle, and cats. And when one of my dogs got sick I immediately searched how to care for her. I just knew that I would be a great veterinarian and when I found this channel, it just made me want to be one even more.
I have two girls and they act nicely together and they’re bonded. Every once in a while I’ll see them cuddling and cleaning each other. Then I look at this situation and I thank god that I did get two girls that get along together nicely.
I have two boys, brothers and they're close as well, cuddle, lay on top of each other, clean each other but sadly also try to mate each other here and there x'D I dunno why this situation is so bad but I am guessing they might be stressed with so many competitors around in the same territory.
I’m not trying to take away from your point, because she clearly has an issue. But she recognized that and is trying to get help, and it seemed like your tone was a little rude at times. I know that it is hard to stay calm and cool when presented with this sort of scene, but as someone who has been in a similar situation, she likely feels horrible and is trying her best. Again, I’m not taking away because these conditions are awful, but try to put yourself in her place. Perhaps she didn’t get access to the correct info until she was already in a bad situation.
Annie Zahid well of course you should. Not all people everywhere have access to it, or realize how important it is until afterwards. We should make an effort to help but also an effort to understand how the situation got to this
@@anniezahid5445 that would be ideal but the fact of the matter is it doesn't always happen that way. She's got the animals already harping on the lack of research she had before getting the bunnies doesn't help them now. It is what it is. Lorelei herself even said her own set up with Lennon was inappropriate and that she didn't know better at first. Now here she is trying to be an advocate for rabbits. I thinks she has a lot of communication skills that need to be further developed and I don't entirely like the way this situation was handled but never the less Lorelei is an educator when it comes to rabbits and she like many others started out with a lot of incorrect info on how to care for rabbits. So idealy yeah everyone should do research before getting pets but just because it doesn't always happen that way doesn't mean people can't become great caretakers. Even this lady if she can get her situation back under control and is stable mentally and financially.
Excuse you bland queen.”her tone is a little rude?” Haha hush. Lorelei handled this situation more than okay and was overly kind and generous. I cant even fathom how I would handle this situation. Ur comment is unnecessary and unproductive. There is no justifying the hoarding lady’s behavior. Yes glad the lady is finally reaching out but only because she probably would go to jail soon and get caught.
"I 'can't afford' the veggies." Oh my god, there's bags of baby carrots buy five for maybe $15. Lettuce same thing, of course the Poor bunnies wouldn't get a lot individually but it's better then nothing.
Carrots aren't good for rabbits.. they have too much sugar in them. And veggies are expensive. Especially if you have 60. But like she said, she really should have done something after the first litter and prevented the whole thing..
@@lauracourt5927 In moderation, they're alright. One baby carrot a week is perfectly fine. She can work around it, some veggies are cheaper then others. Bananas for example are quite cheap coming in packs if six. I'd say her main worry should be hay and lettuce.
I have two bunnies, a buck and a doe and currently expecting. Feed cost and things do add up when you're poor, so I understand about veggies, sometimes I don't have money for a week or two to buy veggies but they do get plenty of feed and hay and grass. I even made a small garden this year to cut down costs so they have fresh veggies. Now I can see someone having a few for pets/breeding but 60 for that small of space is too much. I used to keep mine outside in the spring and summer and let them come in if it got too hot and in the winter. But now mine live in their own hutches in my house. When I'm not overly busy I do take them for walks. And I clean cages 1-2 a week. ( They don't poop all over, only in a specific spot) but they're healthy and loved and I'm planning on fixing my buck later on. But it shouldn't have gotten this out of control. At the most 5 bunnies and if they aren't fixed then she'd have to separate them to avoid more bunnies. And again I can see her not having the money to get the males fixed but if that is the case find them a home or at least separate them.
I know people who sell corgi puppies all around the world. They are from Lithuania. There is possibility to find a person who would do it (by sheer luck a person who travels from usa to dk) or order a courier if you have money and there are certain veterinary requirements but it's not as hard as it looks like.
@@TheCristalWolf good to know, but i'm a student so i dont think i can afford to pay for transport. But i'm gonna check a local shelter and hope it the "global rabbit adoption rate" (/karma) evens out :)
Hey, Lorelei? Is it possible to adopt any of these rabbits? I've contacted a bunch of people and they told me they're willing to adopt these guys and give them proper treatment. Atm I'm trying to gather some money to donate to the gofundme raiser.
Honestly, I dislike how she handled herself and talked to the owner. She was being fairly aggressive to someone who is trying to get help, who knows she was in the wrong. It was as if she was trying to make the owner lady to feel even worse about herself.
It took me more than a full year to gather the courage to watch this video, and even now I wanna cry. If my buns ever ended up in a condition like that I would bury myself in the ground out of shame. That lady needs help.
I am so glad this woman is getting support and education. It is easy to judge her but she needs help ..in many areas. Vicki is a compassionate soul who is kind despite this tragedy.
Thank you for helping. I honestly really didn’t want to watch the video when you first put it out. 😞 I’ve helped transport 4 bunnies to a rabbit rescue that were seized from a hoarding situation. It’s really sad.
My emotions are all over the place with this one. I applaud you and Vicky for all of the help you are giving this woman!! I applaud this woman for reaching out to get help, allowing you to film her and the bunnies and the environment, and especially for being willing to give the bunnies up to good homes as opposed to still wanting to keep them all because she loves them. It is so so sad to see all these bunnies and their living conditions!! I am glad that the situation is due to reproducing as opposed to someone who just kept buying more rabbits. Not to say by any means that I condone it or anything else, just that I really feel for this situation because this woman truly doesn't have the finances, is feeling really overwhelmed, and wasn't ever knowledgeable about how to take care of bunnies properly. Had she even known enough to get her bunnies fixed, even just the male one, this would never have escalated to this point! I feel that the money she is spending on just the bales of alfalfa hay to feed 60 bunnies... She would probably have been able to afford Timothy Hay and vegetables for two bunnies. Knowledge is power. 😢😢😢
That comment is so sweet. I feel like most people don't understand that this is a lose-lose situation, so her reaching out and just being called a hoarder and having people dismiss her issues as a mental disorder is simplifying/dismissing the issue we cannot even really begin to understand.
Thank you SO much for saying this@@jaxcampbell4487 !!! I don't even know if she is really a hoarder. How can we tell? Besides, hoarders usually have a hard time giving up things. Maybe she just kept them because she felt like they were her responsibility since they came from her original rabbits. And in that way, they really are her responsibility /"fault". Seems she meant well, doesn't have enough finances, and got extremely overwhelmed. Who wouldn't with 60 bunnies?!!!? After I wrote my comment and read many of the other comments, I was disappointed by all the negative comments only viewing this situation from one angle.
Please do not get a rabbit for Easter. Rabbits are high maintenance animals and they need lots of time to play. Rabbits should not be caged either. Getting a rabbit would be okay if you do research before you get a rabbit but PLEASE DO NOT GET A RABBIT FOR EASTER.
Umm I got one for Easter and he's free roam, he likes to cuddle, we take him to the park daily, and only put hm in his pen only at night. So I dunno what u have a problem with getting a rabbit on Easter? My mom knows alot about rabbits as well, so we know what we're doing. Easter is literally just a date, not anything crazy. I also disagree with the idea of not picking up your rabbit, because when I pick up mine, he's fine with it. He likes to give me kisses and cuddle me when I pick him up. I think it's because I have Holland lop rabbit, and their nicer and better with kids then other rabbits. So please check your facts the next time you tell someone what to do.
Courtney Barber Well most rabbits do not like to be picked up and you bring your rabbit to the park? Aren’t you scared it will get eaten by a dog? Obviously it would be okay getting a rabbit if you do your research but without research rabbits are usually not treated properly because to kids they are a toy. Once kids get sick of it, it will become the parents pet and the parents wouldn’t want to look after it so it ends up being chucked in the wild.
@@bunnodraws8297 we have a large pen for him when we're at the park and a bunny stroller, and we go to a small one where no one is usually there. We did a lot of research before buying him. And he's not going to be chucked in the wild, so don't say that. Do u even have a bunny? Or do u just act like u know everything?
Courtney Barber Well in fact I have two bunnies and I did a years worth of rabbit research before getting my rabbit. I didn’t mean that you are going to chuck your rabbit in the wild but other little kids may end up chucking theirs. I am sorry if I in anyway made you feel a bad emotion.

He's probably chilling and happy as he knows no different 😭
I didn’t know u have bunnies too!!! I’d love to see a video of all ur pets.
I'm actually proud of the woman for owning up and knowing what she did is wrong.
Mmee too
She did wrong but bunnies are fast in getting a new litter very quick.
I love how Oscar was so calm, like when Vicki was explaining the hoarding situation he was just like *om nom nom*
Yeah😊😊 He was so cute He’s “Like I’m gonna continue eating while you guys talk is that ok with you guys?”
He doesn’t even seem fazed that he’s hurt he’s just happy to be out of there I guess
I actually makes me sad and squeamish to look at poor Oscar's bites
oscar is such a strong bunny. despite his scars, he is still doing his own thing. this is really sad and concerning to know that bunnies aren’t being treated the way they should. hopefully when i get a little older, im able to spread awareness too and help a bunny out.
right, and they even mentioned he’s been attacked since he was a little baby, most rabbits would develop some type of temperament or aggression because they grew up with very bad living standards.. oscars so strong and sweet and he deserves the best life 🥺
This is such a nice comment. I agree with everything you said.
I don't get people saying she's rude to the hoarder? Not even the hoarder seems offended. I watch till the end and she's always talking in calm manner
Let's Read Textbook yeah and it would be hard not to be mean after what she did
Horsey Dreams no, don’t be rude. period
Jessicah McClain You must be rude in order for someone to understand. Especially in this situation you have to be blunt about it or they might not even try.
Official_Kawaii Bunny Girl how am I rude? I am telling her to NOT be rude.
Aww the bunny has bites this is so sad 😭 I’m speechless this makes me feel sick that someone can own rabbits like this
I almost cried 😥 it's so depressing to see harm to a bunny :(
Well I do t think she wanted it to happen
I know she loves them though. She just can’t physically admit the fact/understand that she’s doing something wrong
Honestly as bad as it sounds its not her fault, its the mental illness around hoarding
Its sooooooooo bad im super sad for it
I would adopt that little guy in a heartbeat if I weren't in Australia. Bless them I hope they find loving homes
Gday fellow Aussie!
same, I'm in the US but on the east coast. He's so precious. I would love to adopt him 🥺🥺
I would too but my apartment says we can’t have animals :(
As a bunny mom of 3 this brought tears to my eyes. Hurts to see how these bunnies live in awful conditions.... I'm glad you went to help out. You're such a good person.
Ms. Vercetti *So sad😭😭*
Same poor babys
I 100% agree with you. It is such a horrible living condition for these rabbits. It’s so sad to see they are forced to live like this
My heart hurt watching this! Those poor bunnies:( those bites:(
I owned two bunnies, Scooter and Monty. They're gone now, sadly. It's sad to see so many bunnies in such dire straits.
Oh poor Oscar! I wish I could just give him some TLC. Such a beautiful little boy. All these bunnies deserve so much more then being stuck in a chicken wire pen with nothing but pellets. This is awful! Love you and Lennon! 😭❤️🥰
Oscar is an absolute trooper! His ear is in 3 parts and hes badly injured but hes still hanging on to life so he can find a good home!
Omg I’m so sorry for Oscar he’s/she’s such an sweet and cute bunny..
It’s a he :)
I want Oscar. I am on the East Coast though.
Oscar is still beautiful despite his injuries. Bless his soul. ❤️
yea because ripped apart fleshy ears and suffering are so beautiful smh
So true 💓💗💞💕💖💝
generic lemon picture omg what a heartless person you are to say that.
Rapper Merch he is litter trained really well and it's too late now
Free roam buns. Respect.
Abster1234 O'Neil be sure he/she is fixed!!
So my bunny is a free range when I'm home will I need to use the pin transition when he can become a full free range?
I don't understand the "I don't have money for Timothy Hay" when Timothy Hay is cheaper & more readily available than Alfalfa Hay
Thus depends on the area you are in.
Kaitlynn Sessler rabbits breed faster than any other mammal.....it happens
Skull Girrl yeah... it’s so sad that bunny owners don’t know that rabbits need Timothy hay. I got my rabbit and the breeder told me very good things. It’s better to buy a rabbit from a breeder or shelter.
Omg..this made me cry.. Im a new bunny owner..I couldnt even believe this.
Why don't you one day start a bunny shelter in LA? That would be so amazing and you already have so many people backing you up! Just a thought (:

It take a lot of work and money and I do think you can just buy

I agree she came off very judgmental with no helpful advice really
I understand what you're saying, but I can't help but realize that when you're witness to the condition of those poor animals, it's difficult to be objectively helpful and detached. She knew how much pain the poor bunnies were in and it was probably hard for her to contain her emotions as is; I'd be angry. As much as I would want to be level headed, I would be so, so angry. I think in future situations she'll be able to handle these situations differently, but it's going to be a journey.
She should have turned up with a rotisserie. Hoarding problem solved.
Mom gone domestic- she doesn't need to be coddled. Perhaps she just responded honestly, and just maybe she later thought to herself she could have worded things differently. Now your being judgemental after watching it. You may have responded the same not realizing it.
I love how Oscar stays strong . Oscar feel better . You’re adorable

Can we get an update on this? I’d love to see the progress for these beautiful bunnies. I hope many of them have good homes and are happy now
I say the bunny’s that are in the shopping carts have the best life out of all them
KatonPlays yeah
Yep. Even a shopping cart is terrible but it’s still probably the best.
Yes and no. I feel like it would be been best to put each male in a smaller enclosure, despite the fact that I had the thought of a smaller enclosure. I think maybe 2-4 females could be housed in a larger enclosure.
Yes that honestly that really isn't a bad cage it was a little bit bigger it would be spot-on 😂
I haven't seen that part yet and already I know it's bad
Yesterday, my teacher showed me a picture of her son (a baby) sitting next to a rabbit in an Easter photo. People need to be educated. Rabbits are not meant for Easter photos.
(Edit) thank you for being concerned. No, I didn’t tell her it was wrong, and yes, I regret it.
(Another edit) yes it is ok to take selfies with rabbits, but this situation is different. The rabbit did not look happy, sort of like the one in this video. It seemed so sad. Like i said, taking pictures of rabbits is ok as long as it is properly cared for.
Correct
My bunny's have been used as Easter bunnies and we took them away and. Called animal police and there banned in my town
Yep
Megan Ferrer you should probably tell your teacher to stop taking pictures with these rabbits
People take evrythng for sake of thr own entertainment..its so selfish
Me and my rabbit take selfies..but that's different
This is so unhealthy for them all . The owner should be hold accountable . No rabbit should be in this kind of environment.
at least she owned up and is reaching out for help. I'll give her props for that.
well she cant move all 60 bunnies to another place that can fit them all
especially when some of them r badly injured and doesnt even realize it
I don’t think she had bad intentions she just wasn’t educated enough

I’m glad the woman took it well, she didn’t get mad, she understood, and she appreciated the help.
I agree
still, a lotta people (maybe even the majority of all people) are extremely ignorant about rabbit care and she just wants to fix that
Eh, I understand your opinion but mine is different. Here is mine: I don’t think that she does have that attitude, she just is trying to make things better while still being nice. PS no hate

I hate how she keeps going "I can't afford it" "that would be a larger expense" ugh, she should have never had bunnies.

I just cried and cried the worst part was that Oscar still looked happy and curious even though he was really hurt :( i still cried i just got emotionless...
If you were emotionless you wouldn’t feel emotions-
I do definitely agree that Lorelei was very abrasive to the women with her questions and the way she was wording things, and she did sound quite condescending.
@@behindblueeyes1511 I just think it's ridiculous how this woman has 60 rabbits housed in chicken wire and shopping carts and Lorelei goes "so... why don't they get vegetables?" like god. that's pretty irrelevant now. she also did nothing but film and interrogate her
Sara Drescher no she want! And the hoarder kinda needed to be educated
She did fine technically but the microexpressions of distain were apparent.
Sara Drescher You could tell she was angry. She was trying to be kind but you could definitely tell she was mad.

Kat Mann it’s called reversed psychology by making the hoarder realise the consequences of their actions.
@@GothicaBeauty Some are not at that point and can feel attacked.
Alisha agreed but i understand what she’s doing here.
I think you handled this amazingly! I would’ve gone off on her because those bunnies are being treated horribly. 🥺
This is disgusting how can someone neglect animals like this..
Right
I know it's so sad😭😭😭😭
yikes, don’t be so judgmental.
Steph L hoarding is a serious mental illness many people suffer from. Yes it’s horrible to see these animals being treated this way but understand that the person isn’t as horrible is you make them out to be. Depression and anxiety or not the only mental illness out there
If someone want only eat them it's normal. There is a difference between domestic animal and wild animals just to eat.

Bland Queen but i think before getting any pet you should do some serious research
Annie Zahid well of course you should. Not all people everywhere have access to it, or realize how important it is until afterwards. We should make an effort to help but also an effort to understand how the situation got to this

Doesn't matter bad cair is bad cair.
"I 'can't afford' the veggies." Oh my god, there's bags of baby carrots buy five for maybe $15. Lettuce same thing, of course the Poor bunnies wouldn't get a lot individually but it's better then nothing.
let’s not say the Lords name in vain :) but i agree w you
Carrots aren't good for rabbits.. they have too much sugar in them. And veggies are expensive. Especially if you have 60. But like she said, she really should have done something after the first litter and prevented the whole thing..
carrots aren't good for rabbits hi bye
And again I can see her not having the money to get the males fixed but if that is the case find them a home or at least separate them.
i'd take one but i'm in denmark so transport is probly not going to happen, hope they find good homes.
@@denzildk Glad to help and i hope you will find great companion.
Hey, Lorelei? Is it possible to adopt any of these rabbits? I've contacted a bunch of people and they told me they're willing to adopt these guys and give them proper treatment. Atm I'm trying to gather some money to donate to the gofundme raiser.

@@morgan1423 Yep, I have ^w^
Go to the discrimination
Can you please update if she replies? I would really like to know how it goes! Tysm for trying to help ❤️ you’re awesome
@@gwakodile of course!
Do haters just click on videos to dislike and then click off?
I changed my name You just don’t know it yet I know like who dislikes a bunny video
I think they disliked it because they dont like the way those rabbits are kept
Areeba Khan Maybe
Honestly, I dislike how she handled herself and talked to the owner. She was being fairly aggressive to someone who is trying to get help, who knows she was in the wrong. It was as if she was trying to make the owner lady to feel even worse about herself.
It took me more than a full year to gather the courage to watch this video, and even now I wanna cry. If my buns ever ended up in a condition like that I would bury myself in the ground out of shame. That lady needs help.
You are valid and I am glad you care so much and have so much empathy :)
I had to step away oh my god this is HEARTBREAKING. Lorelei you are a saint for pitching in.
clicked immediately after seeing you have a new upload! ❤️
Me to I love your channel omg I got my first heart cool thx I'm your biggest fan
I am so glad this woman is getting support and education. It is easy to judge her but she needs help ..in many areas. Vicki is a compassionate soul who is kind despite this tragedy.
These bunnies deserve more this is so sad and this woman needs to learn more about bunnies
Thank you for helping. I honestly really didn’t want to watch the video when you first put it out. 😞 I’ve helped transport 4 bunnies to a rabbit rescue that were seized from a hoarding situation. It’s really sad.
I got a ad. Their was a skip option, but I watched the entire thing just for you ❤️ 🐰
This breaks my heart! That poor Oscar. I literally started crying for him. I can imagine how badly thst hurts.
He's so sweet even after all he's been through! 😍💝🐰
This honestly breaks my heart. As a bunny mom, this honestly is so sad. I can never imagine this happening to my baby. :(
Thank you for bringing to life these horror scenes and raising awareness for animal safety
*unless you do the best caring of all*
that poor bunny that was getting attacked since he was a kit was so sad plus he was such a pretty color!
I actually teared up a bit. At least you didn’t straight up antagonize her about it. Props for that.
Omg that’s so sad. That’s exactly why I only own one bunny and I give him all the attention and love he needs☺️
That isn't exactly the best option... The best option is 2 buns as couple.
kristianleader11 it completely depends on the persons living situation as they might not be able to afford/have the space for 2 rabbits. But yes rabbits do better in pairs but they said they were giving the bunny all the love and care he needs ❤️ have a good day!!
This is so sad I broke down crying once seeing that bunny’s ear :(
