Good afternoon, can the bass and subbass of this ultimate partybox compare to the bass and subbass of some car stereos? In fact, as many say, the bass and sub-bass of the partybox ultimate are heavy, deep and very strong?
The bass that the ultimate puts out is very good and will definitely compare to some car stereos. I am not sure if it goes all the way down to 20hz since it's specs list 30hz as the min. But others have played a 20hz frequency on it, and you could hear it. It is surely capable of some deep bass. As I said in other comments I can't help but compare everything to my old car stereo of 6 x 15" Orion XTR Dual Coils running off a modified Orion HCCA 2100 cranking out 1000 watts of pure physics defying power. Hello, what is the name of the power transmitter that we plug the power cable into to operate this product in an open area? What does it do and how many watts are required to get a good sound?
Hi, I am not sure how you would power the Partybox Ultimate from a portable battery if that is what you are asking. But, after a quick search I did find one post talking about the speaker someone suggested a portable power station such as this one. amzn.to/3VqkELC I am not sure just how much power you need or what spec portable power would work best. Hopefully this helps.
the thing he pluged it into is called an extension cord. make sure its a heavy duty one or it could cause a fire. well it does say 1100 watts on the box so at least that. you could hook the power cord into a gas generator make sure it can put out at leas 1100 wats you would probably want a generator that puts out more then that. with an extension cord. a battery bank would be quieter but it would have to be pretty big battery to get any significant play time. espessaly if ur jamming at high volume wich would consume more power. is pretty much common sense.
also a quick google search gives this info - The common household outlet, known as a duplex receptacle, is typically designed to handle 15 or 20 amps of current at 120 volts, yielding a maximum capacity of 1800 or 2400 watts, respectively. This capacity is suitable for most everyday appliances and devices such as lamps, chargers, computers, and TVs. ---- so basicly if you dont pull more then that from an outlet you cant start a fire but then again breaker boxes are a standard thing and are designed to automatically pop the switch into off if it gets too hot or draw too much power. it can be preatty ez to draw that much. especcaly if you have tons of stuff on one line. --- somone with a 1000 watt gaming computer and running this jbl speaker you could easily blow ur fuse at max load if they are both on the same one.
@jamiealite That is a good point, at least from a car stereo perspective. I would definitely like to know what the unbiased truth is on this. I know for sure this speaker is putting out some power, but 1100w, not so sure. The LG CK99 claimed 5000w. Imagine that one.
Those subwoofers probably at most give 400-500 real RMS watts plus the other ones it adds up ain't no way that subwoofer on its own it's throwing 1000 watts of power it's not making everything rumble
It is kinda stereo since it has 2 tweeters, 2 mids and 2 woofers but its hard to tell if its in stereo or mono. You really need 2 of any of these party speakers for true stereo.
Oh yeah and you will love it. Like I said the first time I cranked it up it made me feel like I was on a roller coaster without a seatbelt. The thing is a beast. And you can tune it to your liking using and good music player app with an EQ or even the EQ in the JBL App if you like, but the more bands the better. I use Poweramp personally.
I currently own the 310 and I love it so much I would get the bigger version if it came with a battery like the 310, I think JBL are selling themselves out of more business in not offering battery versions above the 310, which is a real shame.........
I think the issue is battery capacity vs battery life for the weight. The 310 is just the right size with the right sized drivers to make it work with a battery. Pretty brilliant setup, but the as the speakers radius increases, the area increases as the square of the radius. For example a 6” driver has an area of 36 but a 9” driver has an area of 81. So, very quickly you run into diminishing returns as area grows with the square of the radius and you cannot outrun increasing speaker size with battery if you have any notions of maintaining a manageable size. I hope that makes sense, JBL runs into crushingly diminished returns with size on portable units, and I haven’t even talked about amplification demands on battery draw with larger and more numerous drivers. If battery tech takes a big leap in the future then absolutely I think we will see larger units, but that’s a big “IF” in the foreseeable future. Pairing a larger JBL Party speaker with a battery backup/solar storage device like Jackery, Anker or ecoflow is probably the best bet IMHO. 👍
@@flickboogers9325 okay lets say this then seeing as you are talking about power look at the tesla car that can beat porsche off the line and runs off batteries, now tell me again I cannot have a large bass speaker on batteries, come on get with the program.
@@BasJon we're talking about a portable speaker not cars. I'm not saying JBL can't make a battery operated 710 but if you look at the design of the speaker everything would have to change would be too much money for them.
@@flickboogers9325 Well I was just using the car as comparison as battery power has changed and I am an electrical engineer and I know its possible to make a battery pack run the 710 for around 4 to 6 hours on half volume, of course changes would need to be made, the point I making is if there was a battery verion of the 710 I would buy it and swap from my current 310.

@brandonparrish5787 Okay, so I just listened to it and they rock. But I would not recommend this speaker unless you want to feel like you are live at their concert. 😉
@@jasonlunsford9593 The Ultimate takes the prize since it can handle higher volumes without loss of bass. The 1000 hits pretty hard at low volumes but if you turn it up too much the bass suffers.
Old school receiver with an actual sub and some tweets is probably a lot cheaper and way fkn louder. I had two JL 10w3s in a band pass box in my room. Shook my whole house. Didnt cost me very much back in the day. Had two 12w0s in my car. Jl just killed it back in the day. Loud sound for very little power. But my boston acoustic 12 killed all. Could not blow that thing. Dude at the tweeter store actually stood on the speaker and bounced on it. Did it to both 12s. Then hooked it up and played it. Power hungry but almost indestructible.
@-redacted_by_youtube I am sure you can get some good sound from an older setup, as you said. But believe me when I say the Ultimate is surprisingly loud with more bass than you expect from a stand-alone unit.
These are great Bluetooth speakers. They have a great punch to them. I have the 110 model and it’s about half the size of this one. Big sound and great portability. I set mine on my deck if I’m working in the yard and even outside it sounds great. 350 bucks isn’t bad either.
Question if I get 2 of these and put them on my deck will I piss all my neighbors off and will I get alot of visits from the Five 0? That's my goal 😂 if it works
@@Real_Reviews thanks for responding Mine ultimate when turning on and start listening on low volume is cutting deep bass Not drastically but can be heard Some people say it is self tuning adjusting
How much better is the bass compare to 710? I have 710 and i always want better but i found the price is not justified for the upgrade. If i add a good power 12 sub i think i will be better or more or less the same with lesser cost😅
It has quite a bit more bass than the 710 but there is a big price difference. A good 12" powered sub would be nice but may overpower the vocals. 2 710s for the same price as 1 Ultimate may work for you considering you have the space.
I found this JBL Party Box Ultimate 1100W on Amazon for $1329. If you want the Wireless Two Microphone System with Receiver and cables then it will be $ 1455
I totally understand and do believe these speakers are overpriced, but then again what isn't in today's world. I'm sure the 110 is just fine and if you ever do find a great deal the Ultimate is definitely insane. Not that you really need that much.
Hi...I have an LG OK99 which looks larger than the JBL Ultimate but please could you tell me which speaker you prefer out of the two ? Thankyou in advance 😊
The CK99 definitely hits harder since it has 2 x 15" subs. However, it misses frequencies that the Ultimate gets. I believe the port on the CK99 is not tuned correctly, and for that reason, it has frequency gaps. For example, try the Natalie song Going Crazy on the CK99 and then on a sealed or properly ported sub. Notice how the CK99 misses the bass note at the very beginning. I sold my CK99 due to size and picked up the Ultimate.
@@Real_Reviews good day & thankyou so much for your speedy & comprehensive reply 😊👍. I'll definately give the Going Crazy song a try, thanks for that btw. I did have 2 LG OK75's in the past & i kinda liked the Bass on the 75's but they've since been sold & my daily player is the OK99 now. Just for the reference may I ask what is the current price for the JBL Partybox Ultimate ? The lighting looks fantastic !! 😊
The bass is very good but only up to a point. It seems to automatically decrease once you hit around 75 to 80 percent. This may be a safety feature, so you don't blow the Woofers. With the bass, what I meant is that some people may expect this to hit like some crazy hair blowing bass, but it's just not that kind of speaker. I used to have 6 x 15" in my car when I was young, so I tend to compare everything to that. The Ultimate definitely hits and kills all the other speakers I have tried besides the CK99. It will be a huge difference from the 320.
I have no doubt it can do Pop / Dance music but I'm afraid true Bass Heads will be disappointed with the way Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and other Bass - heavy kinds of music may sound, and be disappointed in the Low Frequency response; sure, it says 18 Hz which sounds good, but only hearing it in person will clear that up .
The Ultimate 1000%. I did a review and comparison but they are not out yet. The Sony ULT review comes out June 22nd at 12pm est and the comparison ULT vs Ultimate will be released on June 29th at 12pm est.
I did lay it down on a blanket without any sound or vibration issues. I don't recommend that, though, because of the LED Light strips on the sides. This speaker is really only intended to use standing up.
@JulianTorres-hk7oq I did not really show it enough in the video. But I had lots of fun playing around with that effects pad. I really liked the drums, and they actually dropped some bass. It was definitely super cool, and if you really know how to use it, I bet you can do lots more.
You should buy 2 of the same speaker to pair, it will be very strange stereo if you pair a 320 and a 120 since they have different volumes. Why not 2x 120? Or 2x 320?
@@alisohailtheitkid Well for indoors I think 120 is punchy enough and you would be better off buying 2x 320 then. It will be like I said 2 different sounds and you can't individually balance them when connected. So one will play lower and the other higher, one will play with more bass/muddyness and the other will sound clearer. I am almost certain you will enjoy the 120 more for indoors, it is such a nice sounding speaker. If I were you I would go for 2x 120. If you want it outdoors I would try get 2x 320. But defiinitely get 2 speakers for indoors use and get correct stereo image.

--- somone with a 1000 watt gaming computer and running this jbl speaker you could easily blow ur fuse at max load if they are both on the same one.
soon i think PB710 is enough for me 😅 this december i can buy 😊 for Christmas and new year Sound war !
THIS IS A MONSTER!!!
Solo es de 500 watts RMS 😄 un LG CK99 es más potente y también en bajos
I mean it's cool and all for teenagers bedroom but it's never going to sound as good as a good set of speakers with stereo separation.
You may be right about that. But I plan to put this to the test at my 1st opportunity.
I like it but I want one to go !! That holds charge , not just a wall plug 😢
How many watts of portable power station should I use outdoors to get full efficiency from this device?
at least 2200w
An 1100 watt speaker that comes with a tiny power cable like that is only a 100watt
@jamiealite That is a good point, at least from a car stereo perspective. I would definitely like to know what the unbiased truth is on this. I know for sure this speaker is putting out some power, but 1100w, not so sure. The LG CK99 claimed 5000w. Imagine that one.
Niciodată 1100w. Faceți reclame pentru necunoscători. 😂
Lol your kettle is 2.2kw do you worry about the cable size of that ?
Those subwoofers probably at most give 400-500 real RMS watts plus the other ones it adds up ain't no way that subwoofer on its own it's throwing 1000 watts of power it's not making everything rumble
They use Crown amplifiers in these speakers
The first day I got it I got the cops called on me lol
Yes, it is just that loud.
did they come over to listen to the amazing music you were playing?
@YoungBlaze lol they said they could hear it all the way down the block and thought I was having a party. I was just making dinner and cleaning lol
😢
Can you get stereo sound through one speaker? Or would you have to buy two and pair them? Can you pair more than two?
It is kinda stereo since it has 2 tweeters, 2 mids and 2 woofers but its hard to tell if its in stereo or mono. You really need 2 of any of these party speakers for true stereo.
I want two of these. Hoping they work as a pair. Make on the Right channel the other the left.
@mrwang420 Yes, they will be true stereo.
Wow! I want it! I was thinking on the party box 310 but I’m like..go big or go home! Lol 😂
@ Thanks!
I don't think you understand how much more power is in the 710 and also the ultimate. To make those have a battery these things would be humongous
320 still good for me for a small room is a killer
The 320 sounded great and in a small room even the Encore rocks.
I have 2 1000 watt JBL P.A. speakers

More bass … this or the 1000? Thanks
@@jasonlunsford9593 The Ultimate takes the prize since it can handle higher volumes without loss of bass. The 1000 hits pretty hard at low volumes but if you turn it up too much the bass suffers.
Will my neighbors like it, is the question I have…..
Be sure to invite them over for the inauguration. Just let them know it's BYOB.
They will be banging on the walls it's that good😂
Old school receiver with an actual sub and some tweets is probably a lot cheaper and way fkn louder.
Surprise the blinds are barely moving ..but does sound powerful
@@remiduguay2258 Its a little further away from the blinds than it appears in the video.
Happen to texting it out on genres that there is a lot going on aka the metal/ heavy metal genre ?
Question if I get 2 of these and put them on my deck will I piss all my neighbors off and will I get alot of visits from the Five 0? That's my goal 😂 if it works
@@Balistixs Yes 100% these speakers are very loud with lots of bass.
Have you noticed that after a few seconds after turning on the bass decreases?
@marcinszalkowski7277 No, I did not notice that. The bass on mine is really good, and that comes from a guy that had 6 x 15" in a car backseat.
@@Real_Reviews thanks for responding
Mine ultimate when turning on and start listening on low volume is cutting deep bass
Not drastically but can be heard
Some people say it is self tuning adjusting
That is probably self tuning?
The Ultimate does have a self tuning feature to help it adjust to its environment.
They are good for the lake or the tent
Why do we have to be carefull eith the "paper bag" for the cables???
@@ChrisDied You don't really I just don't like ripping my bags.

@JasperCupido-jq1zr I guess you are referring to the green extension outlet. I have never had an issue with it, but just use it for the videos.
Thank you for sharing.
@@Real_ReviewsYou can connect a subwoofer to the JBL Bluetooth speakers ?
Yea I can feel the bass
I found this JBL Party Box Ultimate 1100W on Amazon for $1329. If you want the Wireless Two Microphone System with Receiver and cables then it will be $ 1455
Yes the price of this unit is definitely high and the good wireless JBL mic set is also like $150.
I can't afford it I've got a party box 110 sounds good to me not that I wouldn't like the ultimate or the 1000 with the 12inch sub
I totally understand and do believe these speakers are overpriced, but then again what isn't in today's world. I'm sure the 110 is just fine and if you ever do find a great deal the Ultimate is definitely insane. Not that you really need that much.
Hell yeah I going to buy that 1 big giant Bluetooth speaker 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

@SsesangaRoger-q6k No problem. Thank you for watching.
Hi!

Well the lights are cool
JBL is afterall a very good box,and good quality..
@@theeastyorkies666 I really appreciate that. Thank you for watching.
so you are saying that the bass is not good? which means its better to just get 320 right?
The bass is very good but only up to a point. It seems to automatically decrease once you hit around 75 to 80 percent. This may be a safety feature, so you don't blow the Woofers.
With the bass, what I meant is that some people may expect this to hit like some crazy hair blowing bass, but it's just not that kind of speaker.
I used to have 6 x 15" in my car when I was young, so I tend to compare everything to that.
The Ultimate definitely hits and kills all the other speakers I have tried besides the CK99. It will be a huge difference from the 320.
Awesome speaker.

@NakanwagiFlorence-n4v Unfortunately, no, it is not as the speaker consumes a lot of power. You would probably need a car battery in it.
If you knew that pad, the effect sounds pad. You can just actually like make the song more fun.
@JulianTorres-hk7oq I did not really show it enough in the video. But I had lots of fun playing around with that effects pad. I really liked the drums, and they actually dropped some bass. It was definitely super cool, and if you really know how to use it, I bet you can do lots more.

I have ordered 320 and 120 will this be good for stero effects right? for indoors for daily use
It should pair with both the 120 and 320. Even alone, this will rock your house.
@@Real_Reviews can't wait!
You should buy 2 of the same speaker to pair, it will be very strange stereo if you pair a 320 and a 120 since they have different volumes. Why not 2x 120? Or 2x 320?
@@messiahshow 120 bass is not as punchy as the 320 l, so if I get a 320+120 I reckon it will be a better sound together will have to try and test
