      @GQW Smartkid014 you can download ohotopills or Google when the sky is the darkest . Depends what country and season your at
      You can set it as long as you like it will just produce better results when the sky is darkest and less light pollution

      just the next highest from your shutter speed. Say you set your shutter speed to 30 seconds, If the osmo action has an interval setting to 35 seconds do that. To the closest as possible but higher then 30 seconds. You want the camera to be able to take the next shot after 30 seconds automatically

    • @PatrickGuerrisi
      @PatrickGuerrisi  4 года назад

      If you do it with pictures this is a much more effective and high quality way of doing it but it takes more time and is a little more advanced. I go through this in the tutorial on how to make the video with pictures. With pictures you can edit and make the milkyway pop out more and get much better quality set of images ( frames) then you make a video out of the pictures which are frames for your video

    Does the pictures you edited were taken with a gopro hero 6 or hero 7? I have the hero 6 I have try to take timelapses or night pictures but the amount of noise it is horrible. Could you share one of the raw pictures you took to download it to see the actual quality? I might end up selling my gopro hero 6 and just buy the 7. Thanks

    • @PatrickGuerrisi
      @PatrickGuerrisi  5 лет назад

      THe ones I did in this video were with my Hero 6 I did not have a hero 7 at the time, but I did the tutorial with both :) - ITs not going to make a difference in quality. The sensor is the same size. And the higher the ISO the more noise you'll get. I have a lot of noise in mine to. TO get very high quality pictures with low noise. You need an expensive full frame DLSR or mirrorless camera

    “leave it at auto” i clicked out the video so fast

    • @PatrickGuerrisi
      @PatrickGuerrisi  3 года назад

      huh? ITs the interval timer. You leave it at 30 seconds exposure which is the max long exposure a gopro can do , and then tell the camera to "automatically" take a shot straight after that. Thats what the "auto" setting is in this tutorial its for the interval... SO this would be then taking photos every 30 seconds which is what you want here.
