Can you do a video on how super charging works? Really like how concise and easy to follow your videos are

      Agreed!

It works the exact same way, except via a belt from the crankshaft. You're welcome.

He already made one. I just happened to finish watching it.

Well done. Love it. Id love for you to explain the difference between Ducati's valve systems on their engines vers a typical valve system.

I have both V4S's the Panigale and Multistrada and both have different valve set ups. The Pani goes to 14k prior to valve check while the Multi goes up to 38k! And Finally is it true HD has no valve checks? Explain that! Seriously id like to know.

Why not spool-up directly from the back end of the starter motor? Sure you will have to sort alignment up and utilise a double solenoid (one for cranking and the other to engage at low RPM) but it has the torque to drive a compressor ? ........Just putting it out there .

Yes, but the starter will require energy. So you need a powerful battery. In addition, a high rotational speed is required. Here the problems are like those of a supercharger.

Why not just hook it to the output shaft of engine itself thru gears or something of the sort?

Honestly theres no reason we shouldnt have electronic turbos by now. so much tech we could toss into a car to make them super efficient and generate more power as desired.

An engine works by taking everything necessary to create power into itself and uses it to generate the energy necessary to cause itself to turn.
Electric motors are not engines. The energy necessary to cause them to turn is created outside of itself (a generator or battery) and then imported into it to cause it to turn.

Electrical engine, that is a new one.

So instead of converting mechanical power directly into compressed air we convert the mechanical power into electrical and then convert the electrical into mechanical again to convert it in the compressed air. Very “efficient”🙄

A pro would probably be that you wouldn't have turbo lag since the turbo can spool as you step on the gas.
