    You have an incredible ability to take a seemingly complicated subject and to explain it clearly and memorably. Trevor Linsey should take note!

      Thanks for the comment, I may volley in a recap video at this point to remind everyone but we're heading to solve the mystery of the fluorescent lamp. I've actually created a playlist with the AC Theory videos in order to try and help.

    Hey man, would like to thank you all the way from Scotland. I am trying to design a dc-dc buck converter and your way of explaining things has helped me understand the relationship between capacitive and inductive reactance. From what I have learned so far both play a crucial role in buck-boost converters.

    Where can I buy a circuit board like this one? And also, you keep referring to the ‘previous’ video, but I’m not sure how you can actually find it. It would have been great if they had some sort of a numbering system.

    Hi very nice Mr Joe excellent practical presentation, if u would not mind could u do the same with voltage changes in an ac circuit in scenario wr capacitance is raised, or the effect on voltage and on frequency drop after current is raised or decreased in a circuit as u did on current flow... Thkz r making us understand increase of current flow having raised cap value or hz but our knowledge is still poor wrt change in voltages or frequency drop or increase in ac circuit with load... If u could elaborate both these factors in capacitance related practical and inductor related practical circuit would have been better for us to grasp real picture

    If it’s not too much to ask for may be someday down the this road you could explain the working of buck or boost converters while designing one.

    I don't understand the increase current will decrease the current flow part. Am I missing something? The frequency increases and the current is increasing to me?

    hi. can you explain why frequency affects the current flow?

  • @danluba
    @danluba Год назад

    I think we know that an increase in current flow means a decrease in opposition to current flow from Aristotle, rather than Ohm’s law…
    Anyway, I’m making my way through all these videos and they are absolutely great. Thank you.

      Aristotle?

    • @danluba
      @danluba 11 месяцев назад

      @@gmbs360 haha… it was really just a throw-away one-liner, but doesn’t it seem like basic Aristotelian logic? It sounds like something in the vein of non-contradiction or the excluded middle… I don’t know, but it certainly seems to fit a wider pattern of logic that predates Georg Ohm. 😅

    • @gmbs360
      @gmbs360 11 месяцев назад

      @@danluba Roger that! I thought you were going to provide a citation for a lesser-known part of the Nicomachean Ethics where Aristotle describes the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. That would've been fantastic!

    How can i Lower The Frequency of Quartz Crystal

    From 32768 to 24500
    I want to measure Martian Time
    Which is 24 hours 39 minutes
    In a day (Sol)
