      Thanks yes this was a very beautiful hike. It got warm but it was mostly the elevation climb that made it tough/hot. Glad you enjoyed it

      I’ve done it once before but from the regular way from Stanley park parking lot or whatever it’s called. This was a tougher test and was pretty hot

      @MarmaladeOutdoors moved from the Bay Area to saskatchewan canada for a relationship over 20 years ago. Left the hiking there as my partner is much older. Now i am a caregiver, and between it and the farm, I am pretty tied down. Last year, I was able to get to Iowa to see my family and ride Ragbrai. Am planning to do the same this year, and my partner will be placed in a nursing home while I am gone. Once I am a widower, I plan on getting the boots back on and doing the John Muir and sections of the pct. Time will tell. One meal, one mile, one day at a time. Otherwise, I am living the dream thru peoples youtubes videos. Be well.

      @@MarmaladeOutdoors I've been back in Denmark for 2 weeks. I had at great road trip. But my hike in the Gila Wilderness was cancelled because the airline lost my baggage 😞
