I had no idea that when people fled civil war in India, they was of different faiths and landed in many parts of the Caribbean. Thus learning and growing 4 generation in a different environment, culture and language! AMAZING! And beautiful. 🙏💌

I am so amazed at the commitment and devotion to your faith in Trinidad. Love the accent! My family end up in St Lucia and Still do enjoy cooking traditional dishes. They are not of the Hindu faith but they do follow Christianity teachings & special occasions. Watching from UK.

Dinesh n vid since I know myself living in Trinidad saffron is the word we called it from our great grandparents n grandparents but now I heard the name is turmeric /n saffron is more expensive n you are correct it’s the flower of a different plant called crocus sativus plants yellowish redish in colour n the terimic is yellow but (we always called the turmeric saffron in Trinidad 🇹🇹 n all Trinidadian knows it but ppl aboard will not know how we called it in Trinidad I personally still called it saffron I also get corrected about it but I know it’s saffron lol 😆 n that’s my name regardless of how we called it it is our way no offence to no one this is my opinion ♥️🇨🇦
