Great little Jeep 4x4 from MJX. How about a set of Treal Brass Hexes and Alloy Wheels and low down weight with better Tires? Should be awesome and have lots of traction.
I have the yellow one, I'm not really into crawling, and would have preferred an H1 Hummer Version. I changed the esc to a HobbyWing, Much faster, Much better, and binded it to a Dumbo Remote. Nice Job as always. Have a Happy
I guess the yellow one is the only one that comes with 2 sets or tires. I am pretty sure it has some softer tries more suited for crawling in the box. Either way, great video, and im not sure why, but i still want one of these things!

Thanks for trying out the old remote, these new controllers are not that great. You gave me an idea to try the old controller on the 20208/C8811 and see if it makes any difference to the lag problem. Also, are 12mm hexes metal? Great video!!
You’re welcome! I checked and it works on the c8811 but I didn’t test it enough to see if there was no lag. My lag was off and on weirdly enough anyway. Let me know how it does! Yes the hexes are metal!! 😃
This must be the first time you've showed that spiral staircase for the crawlers, right? I don't think i missed a video. It looks great! The nutcracker, however, creeps me out. Is it a rock crawler, a trail truck, a rock racer, all of the above or something entirely different.? I've seen them on AliExpress for around £120 which isn't a bad price for what it is.! There’s only two size granites. The regular and the grim. The grom is tiny. Then there might be three versions of the full size one. A 2wd brushed, a 4wd brushed, and a 4wd brushless called the BLX. I’d definitely go with the BLX. Though they’re likely about to release a new 4wd brushless version that comes with a center differential called the 223s BLX lol. Might be good to wait for that one.
@DerbyCityRC tbh it's not something I have even tryed so I shouldn't knock it untill I try it haha and if I'm honest when it comes to real life vehicles I do love anything 4x4 that is built for off roading in general ie landrover defenders, jeep etc so really crawlers should be my kinda thing but I would get bored I just know it hahaha
I think they were trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Black one for Rock racing and yellow for crawling. Down side adding a bunch of brass to offset metal body will make it heavy. I think the metal body is cool idea just has one small issue being top heavy.

Love the idea but the either need a 10th or 18th scale 22 scale is just a odd size for crawler i mean theres a few but i feel the marked to be competitive in would not be the 12th scale market just my opinion
Oh gotcha! I’m sure there is a way to test it’s top amperage output. Maybe an amp clamp and see where it tops out at as you go up in battery voltage lol. Not sure I’d recommend such a test. I’m sure there is a way though.

@@wadebarnes6720 the higher c rating is the punch , the 5000 mah good size for both those cars , that’s the capacity and pertains to the size of the battery . They get bigger as you go up in numbers . Ovonic are a safe bet . The kraton you can use two 3s but make sure soft packs . If you go over 5 6000 mah you can only use one battery . Batteries start getting bigger and hard cases always bigger
I wish mjx had better distribution in the States. Other than the few trucks they have on Amazon, I don't trust Ali Express or Banggood all that much. Especially Ali.
I don’t trust Ali. Banggood is a good company and same with Makerfire. Still always nice to buy from Amazon! Most of their cars are on Amazon but a little more expensive. This one might be eventually.
That receiver box is baffling! It's ginormous, and the placement goes against all logic for any kind of crawler or trail truck. It's really far back and really high. That's bad for business when it comes to weight bias. haha
I know lol of course that would have made it even more top heavy lol I’m not sure lol. If so it’s a knock off version. I get music from a paid subscription service but still can’t use copyright stuff 😃
if they made it plastic and 1/18, they couldve maybe turned a profit w a decent performer like an ascent 18. Or do almost the same thing w this jeep but make it a 1/10.

Hooves on Amazon are really good I’ve used a lot different brands from amazon
Most are decent just make sure at least 50 to 100c and 5000 mah for good run time . IC 5 connectors
