Im in prereqs right now, 3 more weeks before I finish. I can’t wait to take my HESI and get in the program ❤️ thanks for your videos they keep me motivated
There are sometimes where you have to be quick.. others you can take your time. It just depends on each patient and you will understand when you do clinicals. You learn from your preceptors. Don’t be scared because you have to learn that each situation is different. It’s normal to be scared but you will learn so so much!
Hi thank you for your video, it was very informative and helpful. Do you have any advice for someone who graduated from DMS program over 10 years ago and wants to get back into ultrasound? it's so difficult to practice scanning.
Thank you so much for watching. I definitely think you need to find someone willing to brush up your scanning skills with you & do some studying/ catching up on pathology!
How do you handle the transvaginals? Ive had a few done myself for my cancer followups, but now that I'm looking at being a sonographer im a bit freaked out about it. I dont necessarily want to do that to someone else
Knowing that it’s part of the process helps… but it is something that you will need lots of practice with. If you don’t want to do tvag your best bet is to go into vascular or echosonography.
You can be a rad tech, EKG tech, sonography aide if you find somewhere that offers that position, a scribe, CNA, phlebotomy… anything medical/ hospital related!!
Hey just find your page and I just changed my major to sonography and thanks for explaining things and what comes with this job I’m soo ready to get into the program also what is a magic mind if you don’t mind me asking thanks for the help
Thank you so much for watching & supporting! Good luck! I have so many videos you can watch on your journey! Magic mind is a productivity shot that helps you stay focused & energized throughout your day!!!

Are there any healthcare careers that are somewhat related into becoming an ultrasound tech?

How much qlwas schooling? Is it worth it?
I absolutely believe the schooling is worth it! You will sacrifice a few years for a stable and consistent career.
Im scared to apply and get accepted 🥲 i am so bad with anatomy. I dont want to enter and they think Im not competent enough
do it, do it scared~ you never know until you try... if this is something you see yourself doing, don't let your fear stop you!
