Noel can talk the hind legs off a donkey, but he is compulsive viewing , can't wait for a 2019 interview update, i've been totally deaf for the last 6, years and now have reasonabally good restored hearing thanks to our NHS. fantastic to catch up on Noel and Liams work I must say. Both gents are writing terrific lyrics, that no one else seems to be getting close to both brothers have a very different sound. Noel, liam you are equally as good , when it comes to your song writing. oasis was brilliant, as solo artists you are both this simply brilliant. i love what you are both doing so much. this message is with love to you both brothers.

He is so much more then a former rockstar (He still is but now more of an artist) that write songs and have fun touring, this man is smart and got a feel for live it self that i realy admire.

Noel is a genius songwriter and he's also the best, by far, interview in rock n roll.

Probably because they are mates. Pete Mitchell's been interviewing Noel since the early 1990's when they first started out.
Hey Paul, yea that's what i figured. They seem like old mates from the 90's haha. I love Noel i watch a ton of interviews with him and you can always tell if he respects the person interviewing them right away, and when he does it's great.

I absolutely agree. Every time a great band re-forms the results are disappointing. I want to be left with my memories of greatness. Nothing lasts forever. Peace.

Great interview. Love the album. Don't get me wrong, I love Oasis. But if Noel keeps churning out stuff like this, I'd be fine if he continues his solo career for good, and never reunites with Liam.

Timing is EVERYTHING. Oasis would NEVER make it nearly as far as they did 20 years ago, in today's climate. It's just not in the cards; times have changed.. And this is a big part of any successful band's mystique.. The unapparent, yet critically essential, RANDOMNESS of success (on the Oasis scale) is utterly KALEIDOSCOPIC...
Such statement is so completely off logic and off reality because things that happen now happen for a reason happen for that time.
In fact I would still find it possible that a guitar band with great songs will be on top of the charts.

I think it's bull how musicians are so protective over their lyrics, noel is constantly saying in his interviews how he doesn't know what the lyrics are about... Wonder who wrote the lyrics because later on in the interview he says "I actually wrote this songs". You don't have to explain every metaphore but come off it, i mean they know what they're trying to say...

Noel makes for a great interview. Despite always being asked *that question*, he answers it respectfully everytime no matter how often. I find him funny, relatable and driven to make music and love it too. I can’t not be a fan of this dude :)
