Honestly, what a fucking great interviewer. Congratulations, dude. You went with the flow and asked some of the best questions I've seen someone ask Noel or Liam. Great job.
This is a huge compliment, Gabriel! Really appreciate it.
Absolutely agree with this. Noel is a huge personality and a fantastic interview. But he's just as likely to tune you out if you're an idiot and give you shit answers. Well done sir, I very much enjoyed this.
Exactly, very confident and straightforward loved the interviewer.
Most of the time people feels intimidated to ask Noel about Liam or oasis in general.
But this guy did a great job
I completely agree, I've watched tons of Noel's interviews but never have I spared a thought during an interview to the man asking the questions. Great questions and great chemistry. Fantastic interview. The hair comment at the end made me howl, brutal!!!!! haha. Great job.
Mike On Much Podcast i feell the same, some great questions!
The interviewer was actually LISTENING to what Noel was saying and asking spontaneous questions based upon that ! Excellent job !
And Noel is just as entertaining and insightful as always.
Watched lots of Noel interviews and this is up there with the best, great flowing questions. I'd love to sit next to Noel on a 10hr flight !
Jason Caddick ...me too, but I’d do everything I could not piss him off. 😉
I can tell noel actually enjoyed answering the thoughtout questions. I bet he didnt expect it when he walked in the room
As a musician... THAT is the biggest fan of this guy. All I can say is that this dude is a true from the heart rockstar that walks it like he talks it. One of the very few that is one of us.
Fantastic interview. Thoughtful questions and great insight from Noel. Well done.
What Noel said about luck and perseverance was so inspiring
Brilliant interview, good work dude, Noel is so focused and honest
This is genuinely one of the best Noel interviews I’ve seen. Wish it was longer
GREAT interview! Prob one of the best I have seen with Noel. Thanks!
Ace interview! Credit to the guy interviewing Noel, did a great job keeping the flow of discussion going.
"You weap, silently" priceless!!
He hits the nail on the head here 9:10
“We’re talking about this record right now, and that’s all that matters”
This needs to happen more in todays music industry
Please do an interview with Liam
You did an amazing job with Noel.
Liam is and has been just a pathetic John Lennon replica. With no talent of course.
Eliza- fuck off you clown, u bring the name Liam to the Noel party - fuck off
I have so much respect for Noel Gallagher
Very good interview, not boring. Also the fact that you left the Liam stuff till the end was perfect; you can tell they really hate each other!
One of the best Noel interviews I've seen Mike. Well done
Noel was so not having at first 😂 good job on the interviewer to keep it cool and moving on to a great interview.
Good interview Sir!
props to the interviewer. really great job.
Amazing interview!! Best interview I've ever seen, I hate interviews when they ask irrelevant questions! Great interview!! Genius! Also I'd love Liam on the show
Thanks for the feedback!! Maybe Liam in 2018!
Liam is nowhere near as good to interview.
Totally fixated with being angry and 'hard'.
Not the guy people think he is at all and probably not a nice person. (See him grabbing his girlfriend round the throat here on RUclips when he thought he wasnt being watched)
Total fake.
this is how you interview someone, crap interviewers take note
This is a great interview, and great interviewer. First one I've seen that focusses on what makes Noel tick as a songwriter and not all the celeb crappola. Sure he's naturally funny but I love the fact that its MUSIC and his perspective on his work and career that's the focus. Noel's just left to talk freely about stuff and that's SO much better.
This guy looks like the kid in the Behind the Music that they interview waiting in line for a concert in the freezing cold. Maybe that's why Noel thought he had met him before, looks familiar.
At last a good interview, cheers for the upload
UPthatHILL Music always good interviews
Great interview Noel settled in nicely!!
it really is all about the hair
11:11 *😂
These videos always have the pre-tense of an "in-depth NG interview" but the gold always comes out the end.. get the brothers slagging each other off haha
Great interview! Bravo!
"It's all about the hair" Dammit he is so fucking right.
Great questions. Great answer. Great interview.
Great interviewer
Probably the best NG interview I’ve seen
Wow...Finally someone who asks good questions, instead of typical questions.....Great interviewer...ps does anyone know when the liam gallagher interview is supposed to drop?! -new fan
Lot of great q's here I've always wondered
10/10 just wish it was bit longer
I'm with Gabriel F. Great damned interview. Really great. Noel is a fascinating interview anyway, but this one is particularly good. Well done!
Great interview
Noel is funny and real af.
Fairplay to the geeza like he asks good questions tbf.
Great Interview!
"It's all about the hair" ..too true.
No rebellion, anger, soul, passion, politics in rock anymore for two reasons. Music labels are extremely risk averse due to the collapse of revenues so only sugary pop dressed up as rock is getting promoted. It's the same phenomenon as Superhero films in the cinema. Why risk money on something new when you can make some trash that will sell to easily manipulated tweens and make a fortune anyway.
Other reason is that art is born in struggle. When you get people shlepping around Manchester in the 80's with no prospects and no hope you are going to get angry music that is trying to say something. Now before someone jumps down my neck, yes Noel never wrote a song trying to make a big statement per se, but a lot of Oasis's best stuff is basically a youthful two fingers to the shitty hand of cards they were dealt and an affirmation that its still great to be young and free to do what you want when you want.
The millenial generation in Britain and Ireland had a walk in the park compared to the lives the Gallaghers had in Thatcherland. When you get an education, get some kind of job, get a cheap flight somewhere, watch netflix everynight, chat on socialmedia all day well, then you don't spend every night in your room learning to play a guitar or start a band.
Fantastic interview 👍 loved the end answer about Liam
they are both obsessed with each other 😂
Top job Mike. Amazing interview. Who do you mention at 02:50? I'm putting Italian subtitles on this (hope you don't mind) and can't understand that bit. Thanks
Noel Gallagher oasisnotizie Thanks for taking the time to watch and transcribe in Italian! Much appreciated. Judd Apatow is the fellow mentioned at the 2:50 mark. m.imdb.com/name/nm0031976/
Mike On Much Podcast Grazie mille. It deserves to be watched over here too and it's a pleasure mate. Congratulations again, you two were so spontaneous. I'll drop a link here when my vid is ready tomorrow.
Mike On Much Podcast Your interview can now be enjoyed by Italian fans as well. Cheers from Italy ruclips.net/video/9WbgLyP31Cg/видео.html
He felt he had to say "back up to Manchester...where I'm from" all he had to say was "back up to Manchester", it's not a village, I'm sure the interviewer has done his research and even without research, he should know of the place. Noel then felt he had to shit on Manchester as if it is still the place it was in the 1970's, his fucking kids didn't see the place and think it was disgusting, what a prick. I've been to London, it's exactly the same as any other city Big city, including Manchester (historical landmarks, modern architecture, tough suburbs, good restaurants, bad restaurants, expensive suburbs).
Fucking lose the accent too, you don't deserve it anymore
James Wright Totally agree. His kids sayin "what ?! you're from here?!" Noel going "yeah I know it's horrible isn't it?" that bit made me cringe and I'm not even Mancunian nor English.. anyway I love him as a songwriter.
iemandmusic actual had to watch it again to be sure he did shit on Manchester, yep he did, I'll be cool with it if he shits on every other place he goes to, however, if he doesn't, I hope he comes back and gets a fucking dry slap
Go to Google Maps, type in 'Burnage, Manchester', put the little man down into any street (street view), and take a spin round the town. It's not that bad! Not unlike any other English suburban sprawl. Now, go to Google Maps and type in 'Highland Park, Michigan' (where I was born), and do the same. Now that's bad.
James Wright well I am from burnage, the same housing estate as them and knew Liam quite well and went school with guigsy the original bass player and they have always made out like it's Beirut, it isn't, it's rough but it's just your typical working-class northern area.
Noel is quite the witty man
This is a great interview
Lovely lamp
That was 17 minutes? Great interviewer and interviewee, Noel always makes for great content.
Well done, Mike!
great interview. lets ng speak. very good work.
great interview, great questions from a mature fella
3:10 wow
Noel's a blessing to interviewers.
Sticking it to Liam's a bonus.
Echoing other comments but great interviewer. Great questions and built more questions tailored to his answers. You can actually see Noel relax when he realises this is a proper interview and he doesn't jump to the sarcastic comments when he realises the interview is shit.
and where is the interview you were supposed to do with Liam 3 weeks after that?
:)
Fckng brilliant interview!
A good interviewer for a change.
What kind of sunglasses are those?
that is a fantastic barnet..
what is the name of the interviewer? Mike what?
Good interviewer; haven't come across him before.
Strange seeing him without ant standing next to him
Noel "My ego goes to 11" Gallagher
he will do the rino gig when he knows bono is doing it.
We want Liam on this podcast
Love this interview. Like someone else said you kept noels interest in the interview. Great questions. Anyone that thinks Noel Liam feud is real is deluded. Marketing....
Honestly I don't buy your marketing theory. The feud was already going on and off during Oasis, and they were totally able to say shit about each other when there was no feud at all ^^ They aren't the first brothers to have a love/hate relationship, famous or not.
Why would they keep going when they aren't promoting something ? Liam was still saying shit against Noel when he was doing stricly nothing between Beady Eye and his solo album. He was promoting his days at home then ? :D Even their mom is pissed off by their behaviour, you really think they would use their own mom and ask her to lie to pretend it's real ? Please, you know your theory makes no sense and is based on nothing at all. ^^
But I do think they are both irrational about it and often act like angry kids for that matter. I do think it's pointless, uninteresting and that people should stop caring at all about it because it's only their childish issue, fans has nothing to do in it. I give you that ;)
Noel has said that the way Liam is on twitter - is how he's always been in real life. It's just that people are now realising it.
Great interview...and damn if Noel Gallagher isn't a straight up funny fucker. The more Liam shite talks Noel - while touring playing the songs Noel wrote - the richer Noel gets. It's obviously gone right over Liam's head that it's win-win for Noel.
Conor Hickman HD so you honestly think Liam would do it for free?
Conor Hickman HD I don't...one of the main reasons why Oasis split in the first place was because Liam wanted to use their final tour as a way of branding his fashion label.
Speaking of Liam's fashion label, Liam was handing out free Parka's and other clobber at the Manchester Pretty Green. Just saying.
Red Pill Intelligence wasn't that when he had to close the store? Or when it got ransacked during the riots?
Noel does have a great fucking head of hair.
This expression may be misplaced to use in the music community, but damn, Noel is a alpha AF 💪🏽🤘🏽
This interviewer is fucking amazing, I’ve seen Noel Gallagher destroy interviewers before
16:51
😂😂😂
prs form?
It's what you fill out to pay the original songwriter the publishing money for performing their song, so if Liam plays a Noel Gallagher song at a gig he has to pay Noel for using it
did liam never come on the show?lol
Literally ever comment down below is someone’s opinion started as fact. (Mine included)
Your so worth it baby :)) x x x x x
Fucking love this guy. Find it hilarious how there are people who don't fucking get the Gallagher brothers. That's their fucking shtick, THEIR EGO you guys, so chill the fuck out, that's what makes them charming and funny as fuck, so . . . who care? Plus, what did you expect from two fucking guy who weren't born with a silver spoon and the ended up being some of the greatest rock stars in history. If anything their EGO is not big enough for that kind of shit. Pretty nice guys actually. So yeah, chill out and don't take their behavior so seriously XD
Honestly - Noel is right about Liam travelling the world on Noel's success. The only reason Liam is a millionaire is because of Noel and i've never *once* heard Liam be grateful.
not once.
he's grateful in his own way
I’m sure Liam would tell you that any muppet could’ve wrote those songs, but it took his genius to bring them to life.
Horseshit, mind you, but he’d tell you that anyways.
Bollocks, what has Noel done without Liam? Nothing, faded into obscurity. Much easier for Liam to find new songwriters than it is for Noel to find starpower. Proved it last year with his Platinum album.
@Hue Wong Noel is an absolute tool and a has been. He wrote all his good songs when he was 18 and has written nothing good since.
@Hue Wong He's entirely up his own arse and a complete showbiz sellout. nothing in nghfb is good, the goon couldnt write a hit now to save his life
Laughing in the first ten seconds.
AFTV Well said Noel, know what I mean blud! The arsenal mob do suffering rather well, gives the rest of us fans
a good laugh.
"He was fucking south african" lmaaaao
Good fucking interview
Funny that he says it isn’t his worst album. Errrr. It is
Ya think he sleeps in those glasses?
hahaha I know I know, terrible ain't it? LMFAO
John Lennon & The Beatles 'Shouted' when they sung Noel you know that
Surely he can Travel Private with his wads?......No Safff Arikana to Pi$$ you of Noel!...great interview for a great Guy)
Bet the south african was Kevin Pietersen...
Amod Sugiyama yeah first-class flying from presumably London to there, acting like a real prick, could well be! I’ve met a couple of Afrikaners though and they tend to be very assertive and forthright as a group so who knows
He only told the Rhino story to give the impression that he's not turning into Sting/Bono.
Noel Meldrew
His Ego is biger than his c.... "How coll i am". "How big i am" "How important i am".. Insane...
Haha i know what Noel means, there's a few nationalities you'd not want to sit next to, South African, Australian and American in particular🤦🏻♂️...
Used to love this man. Not anymore. Not that he gives a shit. cos like he says he doesn't give a shit about anything, including his fans. We are seeing this now and look at the results, the album has bombed worldwide and his shows aren't selling out. Liam has trounced him in nearly every country sales wise with As You Were and is more down to earth, humble and great with the fans. The song, Bold, one of the songs solely written by Liam on As You Were, is better than anything on Noel's new number. Noel is also VERY inconsistent with what he says. He said a week ago this was his best album 'ever'. Now he seems to change his mind here, instead talking about his hair. Ummm
Thanks Liam. You've always been the better more tactful of the two brothers.
Mong 😂😂😂. His shows will be full an his album was Number 1. Dya think Liams gunna read this an invite you round for tea? 😂
Like I said it's bombed worldwide, only a number 1 in the UK, pretty much tanked everywhere else.
Plus sold out gigs in UK and and around the world and series of massive gigs next year, sold out Finsbury park in minutes, Noel was still struggling to sell his uk gigs.
Noel down to #10 in UK after just 2 weeks. Liam at #18 after 9 weeks. Liam is doing incredibly well. As You Were has gone platinum selling over 300,000 in the UK.
😂NG
some reason his nose looks more fucked up and bent with this angle/camera hahah
Lol. All songwriters of hits should go around like Noel. Asking artists to kiss their feet. Kidding of course. Noel hated to admit without Liam singing those songs u might be a nobody. Or a songwriter nobody knows. Liam was/is a huge reason oasis was a huge success. His voice is incredible. Esp when he was young.
wow, noels a funny guy, he is miles of entertainment, but wow, participating in saving the rhinos might be one of the best things he could ever do with his life. just an opinion. i was disappointed with his attitude about that
I'm sure he's gutted that you think that.....
🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻
The ego is close to imploding..... Maybe it already has with the desperate drive to constantly do interviews
chris Jackson you DO know that the artist rarely ASKS to be interviewed, right?
