Noel Gallagher is a legend. Hello Radio X Chris Moyles & Team . ( please no more question's - is oasis getting back together or coming back . ). These days Noel does his thing and Liam does his thing. I believe that the Spice - Girls are talking about making a come back in 2024 ! 👌👍
Great interview. And fair play to Chris Moyles, he did not come across as the c*nt I though he was, maybe he has changed. Will listen again and see if this lasts as this was thoroughly enjoyable.
Seeing the stone roses in Barcelona. After there par hall gig, that was the best night off my life. Irrelevant to this, but moyles speaks about the build up and intensity of seeing a oasis gig, oasis were never as good as the stone roses, you hear Liam Gallaghers solo stuff. I liked it for 2 maybe 3 weeks, then got quickly bored of it, same with Noel gallagher
I'm still not sure how he managed to never see the Sex Pistols live considering I have and I wasn't born until 1990 (they reunited and toured in 2007 and my friend and I, naturally, snapped up some tickets).
Has he sold his soul? Talk about flogging yourself for an extra buck. Nothing he says has any substance. Talk about name dropping. Even Ireland is embarrassed.
A has been who's had a number 1 album, sold out tours and festival headline slots already this year. Yeah, massive has been. You complete and utter bellend.
+craig anderson There are some people who still insist on bringing up the Blur/Oasis rivalry, even though Noel is on friendly terms with Damon Albarn, and Graham Coxon, to the point they've played together (Noel's 2012 Arena tour with Graham Coxon as support was superb). Some people just won't let it lie though.
I think you'll find that the vast majority of artists in 20th and 21st century popular music only play three or four chords for the most part. He may not like to stray too far from his favoured Em7, Cadd9, G, D with an occasional B7 formula but using just those chords he has written a lot of excellent songs. He's a well of creativity, and an extremely talented songwriter. Besides if you listen to some of his interviews he never claims to be a great guitarist. He describes himself as a singer/songwriter. He doesn't think he's a genius because he can play three chords, he thinks he's a genius because he's written over 100 songs and millions of people have bought his music, leading to him being a multi-millionaire which kind of would lead you to believe that he's quite good at what he does.
It's all subjective, the fact that somebody writes tons of three chord songs and sells records doesn't make them a genius either. He describes himself as one and all u pop music groupies suck it right up, so keep sucking.
Btw, I don't think he's the worst song writer either, some of his songs are alright. I just think he's a prick and definitely not a genius...thats all.
+78sangre78 Well, like him or loathe him (I'm guessing the latter), with 3 chords he managed to a) define a generation, b) become a household name c) earn quantities of wedge we can't even fathom. With 3 chords I got booed off the stage at the school talent competition. Q. How did he do it? A. Erm... genius...

@Hugh Jones your hero sat down to dinner with Jimmy Saville at Chequers, and watched him fondle his mates wife. And did nothing. Yeah, real hero.
Ireland is a dreadful country anyway.
fkn has been, as he called others

78sangre78 ahh I see. I'm glad you got that off your chest. That happened at the 96' Brtit Awards.

+MaT Cecchetti Really... It isn't even a strong accent, or difficult to understand. You'd bab it if you heard the scouse or a thick geordie one.
funny
plays three fkn chords and thinks he's a genius
Funny that, 3 chords & he's a multi-millionaire while you're writing bitter comments on RUclips. Guess that makes you the genius.
