Hi! I actually like the eyeshadow on you. I have come to dislike Chanel’s topper shades because they’re too sheer and glittery so they just make a sparkly mess in my lashes and on my cheeks. The quint would have been better if Chanel had put a metallic lilac or silvery pink shade instead of that glittery metallic shade. I prefer the rose blush so I may get this one. The Rouge Coco balm looked best over the lipstick (that’s also how I use mine). I suspect the issue with your foundation is due to the primer, which contains alcohol and oil. Thank you for demoing this new Chanel collection - the rose blush is the clear winner - but everything looked great.

@@hanbeauty101Hi! I purchased Rose polaire and Mauve Glacé. I love them and use them together. I also purchased 2 of the eyeliners, 2 of the balms and the eye quint, which I do like (except for the topper shade). ❤️

Great video. So glad I put the brakes on with the eyeshadow palette!!! I chose the icy beige base and the rose polaire. I put the base on under estee lauders tinted daywear. I achieved a really subtle look that made me look as if I have a bit of glow. I got the pink delight baume which worked well with my lips which are in an atrocious condition despite spending £££ on oils and balms. I am 57 so am looking for the subtle look as I took a huge break from make up and going out in public when I looked after my Mum who sadly has now passed. It also works well when you are walking the dog as you look alive but not too much make up. Glad I have discovered your channel. I will binge watch it tonight x
I’m so very sorry for your loss, I lost my Mum a few years ago and miss her every day. Makeup is such a good therapy for me. I’m pretty new to long form content and starting to find my feet, if you binge watch you’ll notice my early content was dreadful 😂😂😂 it’s great to hear you are enjoying makeup again, I wear makeup even if I never leave the house because the whole application process makes me feel happy. That’s what matters most I think. I haven’t gone back to try that eyeshadow again but the blushes are not leaving my desk! ❤❤

Hey there. I got the same as you except the blush color, and I agree, the darkest color was so powdery that it just blended away, and the sparkle topper was all over my face. The lip balm I like because it is a very light pink. If you want to spend a lot of money for nothing lol…
Yes I much prefer their eyeshadow quads, I’m yet to try one of these quints and really be wowed. I haven’t even touched the lip balm since doing the review, very forgettable but the blush I loved so much I got the third one and use all three regularly ❤
I am very tempted by Shade & Illuminate. I think I’ll give in soon. I also love Guerlain Terracotta Le Teint and their matching concealer launched today which I might get tomorrow 🤞
I added a shorts reel trying on the third blush if that helps you to choose a colour. The rose pink is probably my favourite but I love them all ❤
It’s a strange one, when I watch it back I like it a bit more but maybe adding the highlighter is the reason. It definitely needs a lighter more intense shimmer. I like the pink blush the most too but I’m genuinely obsessed with both and have now ordered the Mauve (I’ll create a shorts video trying it on). I haven’t tried the primer again yet but I will test it more, but you are probably right. Such a shame as I love the glow it gives. Thanks so much for watching. Take care ❤
I have the mauve one. It isn't as dark on the skin as it looks in the pan, but it is lovely
The pink Chanel blusher has arrived. I love that one too. it is perfect for daytime wear, but not quite enough for evening. Lovely formula. I much prefer the finish of this one to the Gucci, the Chanel seems to meld into the complexion better than Gucci

I think you'd love the Natasha Denona retro palette. Similar colour story, but very good quality shadows. Selfridges did have it on sale

Hello Han Beauty, very nice video. The look looks really good. However, I'm like you, I really just like these blushes. Especially the coral. The pigmentation is probably good too. And not as disappointing as last year's 4 Face Palette, which was available in two different shades. I found you because I was looking for the Chanel blushes and wanted to see them applied. @hanbeauty101 it has some glow, but I think the chanel formula looks a little more refined, from what i can see with the mauve one. I ordered the pink chanel one after seeing your review. You will love the mauve one, I am a similar skintone to you. I am LN5 in Prada foundation, 070 in haus labs, and 05 porcelain in Tom Ford traceless soft matte (this one is my HG, do try it if you haven't already)
I ordered mauve yesterday, I can’t wait to try it now! I haven’t tried much from Tom Ford yet, I need to try more but I did get his foundation stick recently as I heard it might be withdrawn or reformulated. In fact that’s what I’m wearing in this video and it didn’t like this primer. I got shade 4.0 Fawn which I love but I could have gone lighter. I am a light neutral. Always great to meet a shade twin! @@hanbeauty101 I am neutral as well, but probably some shades lighter than yourself. The Tom ford shade & illuminate foundation is ok, nothing to get that excited about. But the soft matte fluid is better than the stick. I know these have been heavily discounted in the USA, but they haven't here.I suspect a reformulation or repackage. The fluid soft matte foundation only came out in 2020. It replaced the traceless perfecting foundation (which was pants) so I would be surprised and livid if they were stopping it
Hi! I know this video is quite old now but how did you get on with the primer in the winter? Do you think it helped with the winter weather? I've been looking at their primer and noticed the frosty white shade is still in stock so im trying to decide between that and their non limited edition ones.
@@MsBNoodle it is hydrating and gives a little glow but it’s not very impressive to be honest. I’d get the Dior one over that

I will skip the whole collection entirely. The palette is very similar to Les Beiges Intense which makes me look ill. My favourite Chanel primer is N1 Base which goes with absolutely every foundation, including the Estee Lauder long wear foundation. It gives a subtle glow from within, healthy glow, and does not disturb the performance of the foundation.
Yes no point if it doesn’t suit you. I do think the blushers are exceptional though. I ended up getting the mauve glacé too and I love it. I’ll have to try that primer!!❤

I do love these blushes and they haven’t left my beauty desk. The rest of the collection didn’t impress me though. Definitely not worth the money unless they are your favourite shades and formula ❤️
