Reminds me of the years I lived in Iowa and the years I went back after I moved back home to Missouri. At first I detested the "party hunters". Then we joined them and it was a blast. These guys are organized and run these drives like a military operation. They have one purpose and that is to fill every tag. Deer hunting at its "purest form". Meat for all. Glory for some.
That's a good woman/mom. Jake probably mentioned one time he likes onions or complimented on a dish she made that was onion heavy, and she'll never forget. Also Jake's respectful nature earns him a lifetime of onion egg sandwiches.
Omg first off great video love the breakfast sandwiches and the deer drives can’t beat the camaraderie but I’m not gonna lie I love the Ford Fairmont I think? Old school I think my grandma had that car in baby blue LOL keep them coming !!!!!!
Hey Y'all it's Garrett again I commented on the last video and I seen y'all actually liked it I hope y'all see this one to out of all the deer y'all have been able to harvest together which one scored the most I just wanted to know because each of you have been able to take pretty nice ones and I know it's not really about how big the buck is it's about having a good time with your friends and family and to provide meat for them it would be really cool if y'all could talk about it in your next video or 2 good luck to everyone on the THP Hunting crew on the rest of the season🦌💪
@@andrewhauke5769 I see it as a trophy for all the blood, sweat and long hours put in to do well in wrestling. I competed for 10 years and would bust my ears up from time to time but the swelling always absorbed back into my ear so I go to put up with that freaking pain but never got the cauliflower to go with it other than a small place down in my ear that you can’t really see unless you’re looking. Best sport ever though.
What I like about this hunting show more than anything is the variety. These guys just want to hunt. Doesn't matter if they use bow, shotgun, rifle. But most importantly they show the *failures* which is what hunting is mostly comprised of. Anyone who hasn't cut shooting a lane properly, missed, moved suddenly, didn't play wind right understands.
Deer drives are some much fun to do and watch especially when it’s a Thp video. Keep up the good work guys I love watching your videos and I hope you get a good one.
I see Peyton is a long time wrestler... That's a rag tag group of guys.... Love the 1980s maroon Ford.. holy shit 660 bucks for a nonresident hunting license
Every time I would visit my mom, the first question was " you want a fried egg sanwich?" Fried egg, big rings of onion, mayo on toasted bread. I don't think I ever said no.
Big fan of THP, but as a public land bow hunter, deer drives really rub me the wrong way. I was after three nice mature bucks on public this year, they were super smart and I got close a couple times, but really felt like I was dialing in on them after 2 months of being super careful. Rifle season opened, 10 guys did a drive through the piece and killed all three bucks on opening morning. I get it, it’s a tradition and whatnot, but sure is incredibly frustrating for bow hunters
I agree, I am all for any legal type of hunting and I am sure deer drives are as much fun as a fella can have. However, harvesting a mature buck in a deer drive fashion just wouldn't feel right to me.
@@easternoutdoorsman2521 oh man yeah that really sucks. I’m all for “last ditch efforts” to put meat in the freezer on the last day of season. But don’t call yourself a hunter if that’s your only method of trying to be successful. I’m in South Dakota, so it’s not big timber where they have a chance to get away, just decimates an area every year.
That’s my favorite hunting environment every one is together in big groups sharing stories and having fun and that’s what it is all about. Where I hunt for Pa rifle it is just like that with a lot of my dads old friends and it makes it even more fun just to be around people. I also like all the nicknames everyone has.
I have lived in the southern zone of new York state since before I was old enough to hunt white.I killed many deer with a 20 gauge Remington slugger .We are a rifle zone now and love my 270.Great video.
Good times right there! I remember the days of getting together with friends for drives, miss those days. Congrats to all the successful hunters. Looks like momma Jane fixes a killer breakfast sammich! Stay safe guys and good luck, Cubby
I Challenge y'all to try and hunt cutoff island in wewahitchka Florida, one of the hardest deer hunting in the US, part of the Apalachicola national forest.
We hunt 4hrs north of the northern Border. 9 guys, 35 years together. Hunt the same way! Getting the bug. Oh by the way, could you share the wind speed and direction when you can. I’m trying to pay more attention to the wind..

Looks fun. But I hate to tell him cause I’m sure he already knows, but my guy with the 20 gauge didn’t stand a chance on hitting that buck at 150. Haha

Thank You and God Bless You and Your Family !
Nobody in the THP can touch Ted's hat game, completely on point always. Also the dude's chops were totally worth a Like.
Good times. Those were some of my best days in the winter when I was younger and life was still simple.
Great video! Anybody who hunts out of a vintage Ford Fairmont is a next level hunter to me!
This is way better than those stupid “celebrity hunter” videos.
How about a give away contest to have breakfast with Ted’s mom.
THP family hunt vid's are like a 3 day weekend. Not frequent enough and too much fun to end.
Saw hair fly from 150 yards through the 2 power red dot turkey scope lol
Look at that old Ford Fairmont lol been a while since I seen one them
Classic
Going old school 🤘
Seen that time machine
Some good home cooking, deer hunting and hanging out with buddies! Does not get any better than that! Another classic THP video.
This brings back memories of when a bunch of the neighboring properties got together to do some deer drives. It was a lot of fun.
Love the friends and family deer drive hunts! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what's next.
I'm from PA and i enjoy how IOWA is setup all year long to hunt. PA is just madness
I love watching this style of hunting, different from what most of us do here in Texas.
eatin some fresh made snack sticks and watchin this... good evening in my eyes!
This is the Heartland.
Heritage, Family, Tradition, Fellowship.
The classic “ i seen hair fly”
Well yeah, of course he saw the hair fly at 150 yds - didn’t you see that high-powered scope?
Threw the acog scope 😂
That’s good stuff! We used to have so much fun driving deer here in Missouri.

Hey thank you for the shout out on my chops. Pretty cool video btw. My sister ran across this video this year during first season
Egg sammies with onions. Well done. As always, great video.

Much love from southern Ontario Canada . Keep up all the good work you guys do 👍
Don't mess with Peyton, look at his ear.
I noticed that too.
Wrestling or fighting. Most wrestlers, that I know, have cauliflower ear.

The chops are awesome. Teds mom is the best. My mom would get up just to make me a big breakfast when I would come in to hunt. Made me think of her.😁

Homie's chops are on point
Iowa...big bucks...one can only dream!
Been awhile since I heard the "whistle drives" like that around here.
The ole buck knife, had one years ago as a kid
Ted, your safari cap is definitely on point! This makes me want to get back into gun hunting. Looks like a blast.
The best part of this video is that Peyton guy’s cauliflower ear! I’m seriously jealous.

Definitely dropped my like for the chops
Ted is basically THP all by himself
I liked when they were at Ted's Jake was just in the back looking at the deer. Lol
Jake is from Wisconsin so he's "special" 🤪, says the minnesotan.
Nice chapeau, Ted! I dub it, the “Tedora”....
I've already watched this twice, hope it becomes a yearly thing, like Jake going back to Wi.
Thank God for great moms

He's rocking the chops
Awesome video guys, I've been lucky this year with a 145 inch buck and I'm hoping to head to Kentucky to fill another tag.
Good job👍👍
Always fun watching thp
This looks a lot more fun than up here in northcentral Wisconsin. We don't have deer numbers like that. Id love to hunt down south

Could be worse here in nc they use hounds to chase the deer and shoot from the bed of the truck. Our bow season is 3 weeks. Gun is 3 months.

Great. Onions on the breakfast sandwich so you can blast a loud, smelly fart while sitting in your blind! 😂
