I used to gun hunt Wisconsin public land, I quit when a guy hunting the same woods as me was shot in the hip by a group doing a drive that he was not part of. I still bow hunt and watch THP but the video at 0:35 sounded just like when the guy was shot, three shots and then a guy screaming he was shot. The guy lived but I don't know the extent of his injuries. Deer drives may be productive, but in my opinion they are the most unsafe way of hunting, I would love to gun hunt again, but I don't own a hunting property and I will never gun hunt public land again as long as deer drives are permitted.
The most dangerous form of hunting there is. Guys running all over, shots firing from all directions. Shots at running deer are low percentage and result in plenty of wounded deer. I'm from Wisconsin and have seen the carnage firsthand for years in my youth. I'm glad this craziness no longer occurs in the area we hunt.
Agreed. I find dozens of dead bucks every year mostly attributed to this form of irresponsible hunting. I wish it would get banned in all states. Too many hunters can’t place a good shot on deer standing square to the hunter let alone one that is running.

I have never understood party hunting .. isn't the whole purpose of "sport hunting" to take your own game? I understand if you were hunting for subsistence purposes .. but nobody in these party hunting videos look to be missing meals :)
You have never hunted with your buddies before have you 😂
This is how you think when you were taught how to hunt from the industry and not real life🙄…. Hunting is what ever u want it to be mean drives.. feedpile.. hunting bedding.. doe hunting or trophy hunting or just looking for meat
Hop down off your high horse and join us real folks. We party hunt, party drink, and just party party. We are also very skilled hunters and hunt every which way you can imagine but hunting with buddies is as enjoyable as anything.
Its called tradition
I know some of these guys have been on the channel but can we get an introduction of who's hunting when it's not the normal THP crew?
Watching this as a guy in 1 buck state who loves to hunt with the bow and also late season deer drives im jealous lol.
