I'm another visitor from PresentDay Productions. They did a great job but so did you - a fascinating exposition. Organ music was the only genre my dad and I shared.
This video left me speechless, honestly. Your talent and skills, the amazing sound of this massive instrument... Your new Full Great Chorus really sounds like what I would imagine. Thank you so much!
Wow. Someone should sample this. It sound absolutely amazing, and was played brilliantly. Thank you Jonathon, and Mark and James. Just Fantastic. Cheers
That was wonderful and inspiring! Thank you for the excellent presentation! I also noticed there was no sheet music, and that these were all performed from memory!
Really enjoyed this presentation, thanks for posting this. Clearly a gem of an instrument, and Manders have achieved a superb rebuild. Looking at the specification, you would never realise that the Great trumpet would be so fiery (in a classical French way). The new flue chorus on the Great is also a triumph. Overall an impressive instrument for Waltham Abbey!
Also here from Present Day Productions. Nice to see and hear this as it now has been fully restored. Must Have been a huge job to get it to this state!
Mander have done a great job. I look forward to similar good work and an exciting rebuild with the old Rushworth and Draper at Christs Hospital School Horsham. Five manuals and a thrilling tuba magna situated in a gallery at the west end of the school Chapel.
Once upon a time I got to play that exact piece on that organ, one of only a couple of times I've ever felt scared by the amount of noise an organ makes (as experienced at the console).
@@jonathan.lilley Excellent! Edit: Excellent that you got to play that instrument. Only excellent that you got scared if it was a thrill rather than a fright!
Merci

J'ai 75 ans. Je suis si heureuse de pouvoir encore vivre et faire, créer, apprendre, rêver ....Merci
Thanks for the amazing tour through this outstanding instrument!

A most interesting tour of the organ; it sounds wonderful! Wouldn't have minded hearing a little more of Bach's Passacaglia though!
Johnathan Lilley, That 8' oboe was very soft and buttery!
really Enjoyed this, nice that you found this chap with his generosity to share his Pipe Organ with us.
Hi Jonathan, thank you for showing Presentday Productions and us your beautiful organ. It sounds mighty!

I appreciate the way you talk of things of which I know nothing in such a way that I can follow if I care, and in such a way that I want to care.
Wonderful.
I’d forgotten how much I like a great pipe organ. Thanks for doing this.
Stunning!

That was absolutely BRILLIANT. Thanks to James, Mark, and Lewitt for sparking this.
Beautiful! Wonderfully documented.
What a gorgeous instrument!
Marvelous.

Love the Widor at the end. Have you been to St Sulpice? I was fortunate to hear the organ there many years ago.
