Just received mine finally Jan 3rd 2024. Looks like someone opened the box and tried it but everything is there and working so I guess it's all good. Not sure how you load other apps yet but... just happy I finally got it ✅
I think theres a bit too much of what we want this to be rather than what it is at the moment.... Really like to see vid shorts of the diff features to give me a bit of confidence... Really liked your vid though!

Hi! I sent you a message on facebook with some questions about the chessnut EVO. Thank you in advance if you take the time to answer. Thanks for your videos
Id assumed it was possible to do exactly what youre saying, ie import pgn file, and use engine to analyse games move by move. Very disappointing that this seems so cumbersome.
The method Chessnut advised me of involves logging into their Chessmind website and copying and pasting the .pgn file of the particular game from your games “Record” into your analysis engine. I think they should have produced a tutorial video on this. Perhaps they will do so in future.
@@flybeeson7950 You are correct about the copying and pasting into their Chessmind website. But what I want to know is if you look at the video at 23.03, you see files in the download folder that Al put there so he could use Chessis to analyze the game. How did he go about doing that? If you know, could you please share? Thank you!!
The reason it gave you a 2100 and him a 1400 is because you have to keep in mind the number of moves played in that game. That was a 13 move game, and if the majority of your moves were Best Moves and Great Moves that's pretty close to a perfect game, which would mean a 2000 or above level. Your opponent however, within those 12 moves made more mistakes and blunders, thus lowering his accuracy and score. It's like if you do a test in school and there are 12 questions vs 50 questions. You run the risk of making more mistakes and thus lowering your score the more opportunities you're given to make a mistake
Sorry man, you are a nice guy, but this video was kind of pointless. 80% of the time you were arguing about the engine evaluation. This has nothing to do with the chessnut board. I mean, bold move to "dismantle" the ruy lopez...you tell em ;-) But thanks for the App recommendation in the end
can't wait to play and study like this, i ordered mine but still haven't received it.
I've waited over 4 months now! I expect it to arrive in February 2024

The Spanish Game is the most ancient and reliable white opening
The idea that the engine analyzes a move in isolation is kind of silly. How do you think it finds mate in 5 (or 25, for that matter)?
Nxg3 would have given you an outside passed h pawn that queens with mate
On 12:03 just play c2 Kf1 c1Q Kg2 and mate your move Kxf3 looks like a draw
No hay forma de comprarlo para Colombia. Daves vomo hacerlo?.
Is Chess Square Off Grand Kingdom isn’t it better?

Still waiting for mine
Me too 😢 It's taking them way too long!

I know, right! Damn, I feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas.

Lichess dropped the centipawn analysis for "accuracy" quite recently.
At least on the web version...
